I brought in my laptop to see if they can fix the motherboard without having to replace the entire thing, since that is something they advertise they are able to do. I waited at least one month and finally called to try to get an update. They said they were "still testing" the board. I waited an additional 3 weeks and called again with an update, they told me the exact same thing, they still weren't done testing it (even after 7 weeks) but they can look up prices and get a quote to replace the motherboard if that ends up being necessary, but they estimated about $500 at that time. I waited another 3 weeks and got a voicemail saying they "could not find the shorts on the motherboard," yet they needed to order parts to "check some more things on the motherboard," and needed those parts to repair the motherboard, which would cost $499. But otherwise the replacement would be $900. So they somehow could quote a price to repair a motherboard, which they don't actually know how to repair, if that makes any sense at all. At this point I had received no helpful or conclusive information so wanted my laptop back. They said they couldn't return it to me because they had to put it back together. I waited 2 days, went during their business hours and no one was there. Every single time I call, regardless of time of day I sit on hold for at least 30 min. Very unreliable and untrustworthy. I wouldn't trust this business to replace a TV remote battery, let alone any kind of expensive computer. The effort and work ethic is non-existent, almost 3 months to get absolutely nothing done is absurd. I would avoid this business at all costs. Update: got the laptop back, but they didn't even bother putting it completely back together, with one part that is supposed to attach next to the battery sitting completely outside the laptop and am missing several of the screws. read more

I honestly have to say that I have heard nothing but great news about these guys. So I decided to take in my watch for screen repair. To be fair with them they did advise they weren't experts in watches but I figured if they work on all the technology devices a watch should be easier and they were willing to give it a shot. Today I go in to pick up my watch, which was dropped off on the 14th of December and it took some time for them to repair. Now I was advised that the screen may have a line (line was not there beforehand as I brought in two watches, one with cracked screen and one not being cracked). None the less I approved for them to fix it as I just wanted the watch up and running for my daughter. So I pick up the watch and finally get it powered on and I see the line. As you can see in the picture. Here is the reason why I gave MP Repairs one star though. Up until this point I had approved of the work as I had spoken to them. However I charge the watch to begin confirming if I'm fact it's working and my screen falls off case. Long story short I should have stopped when they advised me they were not watch experts. So In short I'm not disappointed with the screen having the bright light I'm more disappointed that they advised me they weren't experts and still attempted to repair it. It would have been better had they advised from the beginning that it would not be worth it or they did not want to touch the watch. At least this way even if it was more expensive to get it done elsewhere. Perhaps it would have been worth it. Also, I just realized I was not given the watch back that had the non-cracked screen in order to use parts of that. I guess they kept it as it was Apple locked and could possibly use it. In any event lesson learned if the business you chose is uncertain of how to repair whatever item it is you are inquiring about it may be worth to go elsewhere, where they are confident regardless of price or take directly to Apple or manufacturer. read more

I had to get there by the 13th or 14th of January, but 2 consecutive days that week, they were closed. Wish gave me a partial refund, but I lost a little money and more time. These guys are awesome. My iPhone 7 plus needed the audio IC replaced/fixed. They took about less than an hour and fixed it right up for me or so i thought. My phone starting heating intensely shortly after so i went back and they apologized and told me they would like to check it in again and confirm it was fixed correctly. I came back an hour an a half later and not only did they fix my main issue but also replaced my cracked screen in my convenience. Service and communication is superb along with the actual work they do and if you tend to question if the work is authentic you can check for yourself on the videos in the front of the store! I came to MP repairs for a small fix, my volume button was squished in the volume socket on my phone. I was unable to get it to pop back out by that time I had tried a knife a razor and all I had done was ruin and scratch my phone. When I brought it in I really thought there was no way we could save this thing but Mario reassured me he could fix it. It was the greatest decision I ever made he removed the phone housing off my iPhone and replaced my volume buttons. My phone looks brand new, he responded very quickly and was able to get my phone within a couple of hours. I will definitely be coming back this guy is a genius!!!! read more
