Well, that was a solid "NO", but what could I do? The malware encompassed my entire screen. I was fortunate enough to know that I should NOT TOUCH ANYTHING on the screen, but who should I call for help? Thank goodness for a savvy neighbor who recommended Elite Technologies on Culebra Road! I arrived unannounced, but only had a very short wait before Mike was ready to help me. He was personable, relatable, very easy to talk to. He did not talk over me, and provided me with a lot of useful information. In short order he had my computer up and running. The fees were very reasonable, ESPECIALLY when you take into consideration the absolute necessity of having a reliable computer, and also consider the cost of a new computer and the nuisance of having to set up a new computer. Elite Technologies, and especially Mike, are now my go-to for any computer issues.

The worst part was when I questioned the charge and asked for an explanation. Rather than handling the situation professionally, the owner became visibly angry and argumentative. If you're going to charge customers for diagnostics, at least provide useful information or a solution. Between the attitude, the fee, and the lack of results, this was not a good experience.
