Brought in my laptop to get it fixed. When I went in to pick up my laptop, there were 2 new finger long scratches to my laptop. They said they will call me the next day to inform me if Apple will cover it. They never called me. When I called them the next day, he admitted he never called them but still told me (without even asking) they are not going to cover it. Had my computer here for weeks, adding $ on top of $ to my final bill, just for them to turn around and tell me the whole computer was useless and I should just buy a new one! (A $2000 Mac book, ha okay....) Btw I had brought the computer in for MINOR water damage, two little drops on the keyboard). I brought my computer to an AUTHORIZED APPLE RETAILER and look at that, good as new in two hours! And they told me whatever the other store had told me was wrong. This place is horrible! They don't care about their customers. Horrible Customer Service and they don't call to inform you when or if your product arrived. They also quote dates of when to expect your product and then it never shows up, and fail to call and let you know. read more

I went into this store yesterday early afternoon. I was very upset because I had purchased an Ipad from Ebay and it wasn't working correctly. My hope was that they could fix it quickly and at a good price. I worked with a gentleman and much to my surprise (since all of the reviews I had read about this store were bad) was very helpful. He educated me on the IPad that I had purchased as well as on others in the store. Although, I do feel that his customer service skills does have some room for imporvement such as having a smile on your face and as well as being a little more personalble, my experience was all in all very pleasant. So pleasant in fact that I purchased another IPad as well as accessories. I will be doing business with them again. read more

I stopped by here in a bind on July 26, 2016, around noon. I was traveling and in town for business just for the day. My cell phone battery went dead, and the gentlemen working the desk were able to get the battery back up and running in a matter of 20 minutes. While I was there, I overheard their dealings with several other customers. Not only was the staff knowledgable and competent, but they also displayed excellent customer service in some fairly challenging circumstances. Overall, it was a great experience and I appreciate these guys' help. Their quick work helped me get through the day. read more

I had my MBPro that crashed two days before my backup 5 year old MB. I couldn't afford to fix both, so I took my MRPro in and they said they'd run a diagnostic check to see what was going on and call me the next day. I waited and waited... and waited about 3 days before I called them to find that they hadn't checked it, but were going to get right on it, which they then did. They figured out what was going on and gave me a price estimate, but it was a bit more than what the Apple store had told me it should cost (I'd gone to one in Atlanta, and they answered all my questions there, but they were so swamped they couldn't take it). I sucked it up and let them take care of it and it was ready in no time at all. They were able to save my files AND put them on a hard drive for me. However my computer was super dirty! I have a dog, so some of the hair had gotten under the keys, and I guess I kind of figured if they were going to be taking it apart, they'd at least give it a cleanout, but it was really grimy and aside from the hair, I wipe it down and clean it every couple of weeks. Oh, and the screws were falling out of the bottom. I had to go and tighten them myself, but one wiggled itself out and disappeared. Besides that, I was so happy to still have my files and programs, but a couple weeks after I got it back I decided to plug in my ipod for the first time and... nothing. No charge, no reading, not a thing. I can use some usbs, and my hard drive still connects, but no apple product (my phone, friends' phones, ipods) or my camera will connect to the computer... I don't know if my computer is just a lemon, or if whatever they did (the guy didn't explain anything to me, just kept saying "Yep, it turns on now") had any effect on this, but I'm really limited on what I can do with it now. I want to take it to get checked out again, but don't want to have to fork over ANOTHER couple hundred bucks. read more

Please share this "KUDO" with staff and customers alike ... Computer Advantage came through in a big way by "resurrecting" my old Mac G5 and Apple Monitor ... I was just about ready to ditch these old components when I tried one last chance ... and luckily, their expert technician, Louis, had everything up-and-running again for only $100, and in a very short time! Another ethical point to note is that Louis told me up front that if it were to cost more than $100, he wouldn't proceed, as this is an old system. But, all turned out well, and now the "old Mac" is alive and well, thanks to the Savannah store of Computer Advantage ... and of course, Louis' expertise and integrity! read more

This has by far been the worst experience I have ever had with a company. I took my computer in for repair after Thanksgiving. It turned out to be a burned out hard drive. You think it would be as simple as replacing the hard drive and that would be that. However I have been in a month long battle with Computer Advantage because they lost my computer. When I went to pick up my computer, I made the remark that I would like to write a review about them because they have been helpful. But, when I got my computer home, I noticed that it was not mine! I called the store right away and drove down there. They said that they would have to wait on the technician to get there to resolve the situation. The next day the told me that they had made some upgrades to the computer (the one that is not mine) and that it was better than my computer. They basically convinced me that this was a better deal. That night when I got the computer home, we noticed several things wrong with it. A crack in the screen, the optical drive was not working, and several other things. I took it back and explained to them that I want MY computer. I don't care if my computer is "not as good" as this one. I want what is mine. And if I cannot get that, then I want a new one. They have put me through so much stress that it is almost unbearable. I am in contact with Apple right now and they are investigating the store. I honestly feel like someone in the store stole my computer, and I am talking to a lawyer right now. On top of all of this they seem to have a "whatever" attitude. I told them that I may have to take legal action and the managers response was a "ok" like he really didn't care. They are not sorry for losing my computer, if they were, then they would have went above and beyond like any good and honest company would do. They still have the computer that they want to give to me, with the upgrades they made, and the money I paid them for their services. They offered me $200.00 for my MACBOOK. I understand it is an older model (2005 or 2006), but that was just crazy. MY computer is the one I trust, and my father gave it to me as a Christmas present. It means (well, meant) so much to me. I am going through my options right now. If you want to save yourself the heartache, do not use this company. It has been such a painful experience. read more
