Dave advised me to get a mobile hard drive for my IMac, and even showed me which one to get. I ordered it and the connections will not fit my computer. When I called to ask if he could come out to follow up on his advice and show me what I need to do, I was told that I would have to pay for another house call. It probably would have taken 5 minutes of his time and I live very close to their office. So now I have a worthless mobile hard drive and have paid over $350.00 for it and the service call. I had called several places prior, one of which attempted to normalize charging $150 for diagnostics alone! Thankfully, I found this well-established business via Yelp, which, as an FYI, is no longer serving at this particular location. I had expected my laptop to be out for repairs for at least two weeks, but Jack handled everything in less than a week, and even the original cost estimate was lower than previously discussed. He was always courteous and took the time to answer any questions or concerns I had. My laptop is now back to a battery life of 5+ hours. Thanks again!

As someone who is very low-tech, I've always had to find someone with special skills to fix my…read moresubversive laptop. But recently I tried a reckless do-it-myself repair and sent my machine in free-fall down some rabbit hole. So, instead of reaching out to one of the overblown big names, I contacted Tweaks by Geeks, an independent computer repair boutique that cleaned up after me, a clean-up I assumed couldn't possibly salvage anything. I was so wrong. Toby came to my apartment in less than 24 hours and masterfully restored the HP in less than 30 minutes. It was clear that he had all the skills necessary to set everything right. I actually enjoyed watching him work. Oh, and one other thing. I did not ask to have the beast operate faster, so I was surprised to see later that Toby made it happen at no further cost to me. Got a computer repair job? Better call Tweaks by Geeks. If they can't fix it, you'd better start shopping for a new one.

I had an absolutely incredible experience!…read more The other day I was rollerblading when I fell HARD and ended up messing up my phone screen real bad. I looked for phone repair shops online and this place had exceptional ratings. Can confirm--if you have trouble with the screen of your phone, then this IS the place to be. The service here is actually that good! The lady at the counter, Mrs. Shelby, was upfront with the process, the cost, and the duration of time it would take to get my phone repaired which, for me, was a little over an hour. If you're having trouble with your phone, iPad, or console, I totally recommend dropping by and giving this place a chance!

The price-to-quality ratio is abysmal; I got back a botched, shoddily executed job that was neither…read morefinished on time nor brought to a logical conclusion. For this (disassembling and assembling the phone, no soldering, no repairs, only replacement of the finished module), they ripped me off for an absolutely fabulous, unbelievable amount of money, as if I had paid for an elite prostitute. The phone wasn't even fully reassembled; the back cover wasn't closed properly. Instead of the agreed-upon week, the "work" took over a month. I strongly advise avoiding this place: the Asian owner gives evasive answers, the "technician" is incompetent as watermelon and unable to answer anything, and the woman at the register is irresponsible. The company operates in a gray area, extorting sums around $100-300, an amount no one would bother suing over, yet they take absolutely no responsibility for the work.

To share my details of my experience I brought my laptop in for a broken display after having a pleasant conversation with the person at the front desk and him ensuring me that my laptop would be completed by the following Monday "brought it in on Saturday" I waited until today (May 9) to get my laptop due to them not touching it until I payed a non refundable $105 dollar deposit that was not mentioned prior in our conversation. After paying the bill the hit me with another invoice of $485! Almost half the price of the laptops worth for a part that I purchased online for $120. After declining repairs upon my arrival today I waited over an hour in the parking even though the door sign saying open and the website hours saying open eventually someone came to the door and I had to wait another 30 mins for them to put my laptop back together even though I called the day prior and them saying I could pick it up today. I understand things aren't always perfect but I believe this experience was one of the worst experiences I ever had with an IT company before and I highly recommend anybody to think twice about using this company.

To start, they do not provide any sort of price estimate upfront and charge a deposit to even inspect the item. Read the paperwork carefully because it apparently says the deposit is nonrefundable if you don't choose to go through with the service, however that is never explained. They kept my device for several days (after assuring me it would be a quick turnaround). They provided no sort of update when I called and did not respond to emails. I called five other local repair shops during this time and every single one provided me a price estimate either over the phone or via email. When I finally received the quote -- let me add that they sent an initial quote that was incorrect then sent another that was over $200 more... -- I chose not to go through with the service so they refused to refund my deposit. The store associate even went as far as to tell me that anyone who would give me a price over the phone was trying to "bait and switch" me?! Meanwhile nobody else has charged me a nonrefundable deposit while promising fast, responsive service that never happened. The irony. The owner himself reached out to me and said he would review the recorded calls to see if I was not informed about the nonrefundable deposit and if that was in fact the case he would refund it back to me "plus $10.00"..... this was on a Friday and he asked if he could call be back on the following Tuesday. It's been over a week and he never followed up and ignored my email (like they have the entire time). Unprofessional, frustrating experience. Lesson learned for sure!
