Very good hot Americano! I won't go back here to work though. Music was way too loud, even with my earplugs in. I may go again to have coffee with a friend, I might have trouble hearing because of the music volume. Aesthetically, a nice looking place. Comfortable enough seating. I appreciate that. There's a good amount of seating that has back support. read more

The white chocolate mocha paired with the chocolate croissant was exceptional. The mocha was smooth, rich, and not overly sweet, while the croissant was warm, flaky, and indulgent. The coffee isn't overly strong but still absolutely worth it, just add an extra shot or two if you prefer a bolder flavor. read more

The route we took to get to the cafe was a little sketch and the strip mall it's located in looks a bit rundown, but this place was a surprise. Super cute, well lit cafe with really friendly servers. I'm trying to be good and just have black coffee, and I'm mad about that because their pastry case had an amazing looking croissant and morning bun, but the thing I really wanted was that everything bagel that was perfectly baked so that the skin is toasted to the point of caramelization. I wanted that so badly. Will be coming back here tomorrow. read more

YES YES YES! This place is a must go if you're in Tacoma. It's very homey and aesthetically pleasing. Just sitting there in the morning is very zen and relaxing. The workers are very friendly and I loved the little words of affirmation we got on our drinks. They're also super quick at getting your order out, granted it wasn't too busy when we went. Their food is also very top notch! Very flavorful and super simple. I was pleasantly surprised and would for sure get it again. I believe I got the pesto sandwich and also the breakfast sandwich. Their strawberry matcha is also really good! I recommend getting it. read more

The shop has pretty decor with lots of plants. It kind of feels like a coffee shop that would live in LA.

I looooove coffee. This little spot is super quaint. Beautiful live plants everywhere and the staff, well what can I say? They are friendly, welcoming, and when I realized I had not included my tip, my barista said, Happy Holidays! I will definitely be going back to not only tip my barista but I think I may have found a spot where I can work and not have to worry. Iykyk... TTown is becoming more family friendly, just gotta find the gems. And this place is one read more

One of my friends stopped here the other day and said it was good, so I went to check it out and work for a bit. Upon arriving, I was excited to see that they have off street parking. It's such a rarity! I forget what this drink was called, but it was espresso and soda water with orange and rosemary, and it sounded so inventive that I had to try it. I also got their vegan breakfast wrap because I was hungry. The barista informed me that it's her favorite of the sandwiches on the menu, which was reassuring. Both arrived and they were fantastic. The coffee drink was so refreshing! The space inside feels so bright (thanks big windows!) and it's so comfortable to work from for a couple hours. read more

We went on a sunday and so glad we were able to find a spot. When we first walked in, they have an amazing vibe. The lady who took our order was super sweet to me, she showered me with compliments. She had the greatest smile and she had a good vibe. I got matcha strawberry and a Cuban sandwich. My husband got an Americano. I just want to say this is my new favorite coffee place in Tacoma. Mine did not taste too sweet which is why I like it a lot. I tried a lot of places that make Matcha Strawberry, they did not taste good or pair well together. This place was able to balance out the strawberry and matcha. I really enjoyed it. The Cuban sandwich were so good too, I wish it's a little bit bigger. I will definitely come back if I am near this area and I highly recommend this place to all my friends and my fellow yelpers. read more

This coffee shop is so aesthetically pleasing! It's a great place for a coffee date. It's clean and cozy. There's even a mirror for you to take pictures in! I ordered a 16oz iced vanilla matcha ($5) and it came with the most heart warming note on my lid. The matcha it was lacking flavor and tasted a bit like lavender but it was drinkable. read more

My sister-in-law and I stopped in here on our way to brunch. I loved seeing natural syrup options! I ordered the midnight crush and it is by far my favorite latte now! Perfect balance of flavor and coffee. I wish we had more time to sit and take in the scenery of the shop, but that just means we'll have to come back another time the baristas were very friendly and we received our drinks quickly too. read more

Great little coffee spot. The coffee is amazing. The staff is super friendly. There's a lot of really cool plants. The ambience is great. I am so excited I get to add this coffee shop to my list of my Top favorite coffee spots! I came here recently for the first time and fell in love with this cute, welcoming place. My tea was delicious, my pastry was perfect and the ambience was so nice! What a peaceful place to come. Plan to bring a few more friends to this location for some coffee dates. Also the customer service was great as well. read more

It is not often that I get a specialty drink that I actually enjoy, so the fact that I got something that wasn't a basic drip or cold brew that I LIKED and finished is huge. The midnight crush sounded good, blackberry, vanilla, espresso, oat milk (that part I wasn't particularly in to bc I don't like oat milk) but I was hesitant because like I said, specialty drinks usually just don't hit. The first sip was refreshing, blackberry undertones, not too sweet. Absolutely delicious. So glad I got it iced too. Partner got the matcha latte with oatmilk and didn't like it, said it tasted like nothing and ended up tossing the entire thing after 2 sips. We also got one of the jam doughnut dude doughnuts that were not terrible (taste was good but texture wasn't my thing) but my partner loved it- a healthy doughnut. Service was quick and friendly. Interior is nice, super busy on a Saturday morning. read more

Cute & cozy corner coffee shop right off the road. Limited parking in lot but plenty of free street parking. I walked and enjoyed the downtown hills of Tacoma Barista was friendly and informative. I enjoyed a latte from their signature menu and a donut brought in by Dudes donuts out of Port Orchard. The donut gives it a 4 it was way too thick and didn't exactly taste like the flavor I ordered. Terrific coffee, food, and service! Staff is helpful and kind. Cute inside and fantastic view.

The aesthetics of this coffee place is so cozy and chic! I got a dirty chai and the taste was okay; it didn't have the depth that I like in the espresso or chai. I also got a breakfast sandwich which was also okay. It seems like a cute place to have a coffee date at or study/work. There were also seasonal drinks/flavors which I may try next time! read more

Lovely coffee shop in downtown Tacoma. I felt welcomed immediately upon entering and the barista was so kind. I ordered the 12 oz pumpkin patch latte with a morning roll and my husband got a 12 oz vanilla latte. Everything was amazing especially the pumpkin patch latte. There's a few different seating options inside the coffee shop and luckily we were able to grab 2 chairs. It was almost full inside on a Monday morning around 10 am - a lot of people working, but also some just chatting with friends. There's also a couple of seating options outside. Overall: I highly recommend and also there's a decent sized parking lot.. I was expecting to have to street park so what a lovely surprise! read more

I think this may be one of the best, sit down, coffee shops I've ever been to. Definitely have the fanciest glassware! 20/10 would recommend. My only complaint was I wish the hot beverages were hotter. Service was delightful! Coffee drinks were all so freaking delicious. The Dudes donuts were amazing and I typically hate cake donuts. Peppermint Patty donut was OMG. Breakfast sandwich was very very enjoyable. Decor is so cute! This place is a vibe. Go and support this new local coffee shop! read more

The ambiance is great with lots of natural lighting. Depending on the day and time it could be quite busy. However, there's always people coming and going so by the time I finished ordering there were some seats opening up for my family of 4. I couldn't have asked for a better experience as it was my first time there. The staff greeted us with smiles and chatted a bit with us as we weren't familiar with their menu options. Their strawberry matcha is a 1000/10. It was so good that we ended up coming back the next day to order more! For those with kids: there are clean high chairs available. However, there are no changing tables but the restroom has a large counter space for you to quickly change your little one. Highly recommend this place :) read more

Greeted immediately upon entering, lots of ample parking in a dedicated parking space and side street parking all of which are free. There's plethora of seating! There are stool seats near the window for those that want to work individually and lots of table seating for those who come in groups. The color aesthetic is giving a cozy modern boho vibe. Lots of people on their laptops on a Friday. Drinks were done in a timely manner. We got the pumpkin patch latte 4.5/5 (seasonal, pumpkin spice, espresso, your choice of milk). Pumpkin spice isn't too overwhelming and gives the season of fall in a cup and it's not overly sweet either which is great! The midnight crush latte 5/5 (shaken espresso, blackberry vanilla and oat milk) is also very good with the blackberry notes prominently tasting throughout the drink. Each drink had a heartwarming message/ affirmation written on top! Overall nice place to get some work done, catch up with friends, and read a book. (: read more

Bright & airy space illuminated by natural light!! Great to work on stuff or meet with a friend. There's a small parking lot in the front so you may have to park on the street on busier days. I ordered the honey kiss latte and it was absolutely aesthetic, coming in a martini glass. The drink itself is not very sweet and tastes subtly of honey, milk, and the two shots of espresso. I also ordered a vegan donut from the case and was glad I did. For the two items the price pre-tip came out to a little more than $9. I recommend! read more

Brand spanking new coffee shop that has opened quite recently! We kind of had an idea with what was happening at the space due to seeing posts on Instagram about it. I was just thinking that maybe we could have squeezed in here and sit down to enjoy Common Ground's coffee drinks but alas it was pretty full with no room available. So the place definitely seems to have been discovered within a short amount of time. However the next day when we passed by it looked like a considerable smaller amount of customers so I guess it depends what time and day you go. But the day we picked it was plenty busy so we got our drinks to go. I got the Honey Kiss coffee drink from the menu which was delightful and refreshing! It was an iced coffee drink and living up to it's name tastes like it's been kissed by honey. Steve liked his drink as well but became more drawn to mine after sampling some of it. Very glad and grateful that this coffee shop opened up as it's the closest small business sit down coffee shop that has yet opened near to where we live. We prefer these small businesses over the place with the siren and star. read more

A Tacoma favorite for sure! The coffee was so delicious! I also was surprised how delicious the breakfast burritos were-yumm!

The parking is kind of a hassle and the area is interesting. However, the shop itself is extremely cute inside and the staff is really nice. My friend and I went it was a great spot to catch up and chat with others. There was also good amount of outlets and wifi if you wanted to study. Some of the round tables are kind of small if you are studying or with friends, but they have a lot of different options for seating, some with better outlet accessibility though. I had a seasonal espresso with blackberry which was quite good and their vegan mexican burrito which I liked that they had some good food options that were more filling. My friend got their seasonal cardigan drink (notes of cardamon) which had a little too much salt in the foam, but otherwise pretty good. She also got the turkey pesto which she enjoyed as well. I liked the strawberry croissant a lot, but wished the nutella brioche had just a little more nutella in it. read more
