This was a fun and very human experience. I visited the day after they first opened, and even though they were still figuring out their systems and moving a little slowly, I think they'll make a great addition to the mall. I love the clean and modern aesthetic. The layout is clear and there isn't the, "where do I go?" ambiguity you sometimes get with shops like this. I also appreciate the self-service kiosk, but it's hard to see when you're in line so it just looks like they're only running one register (which they are, which is another story). The pastries and baked goods look delightful, and the seasonal mini-egg cookie was a cute touch. It looked like there were plenty of vegan options too. The drinks menu looked unique enough to differentiate the shop while still offering the staples. My cookies n cream smoothie was delicious! Not Oreo like you'd expect, but rather a blended chocolate chip cookie. Savored that. My partner's matcha latte was also gently sweetened, just the way she likes it. Because it was so new, they were a bit slow, especially when navigating their new POS system. Fortunately it wasn't too busy and I wasn't in a rush. They were very kind and accommodating, and even honored their opening 50% promotion even though I wasn't technically getting a coffee drink. I think if they stuck the self-service kiosk out closer to the main mall corridor it'd see more use. I look forward to seeing them grow and improve!

Love the coffee and the pastries are great. Very affordable compared to all the kiosks. A good stop before taking kids to the playtorium or a good place to sit and listen to a audiobook during the week. The mall is crowded on the weekends.

Stopped by for a matcha as I was shopping at the mall. It was yummy , the pastries looked good too, will try next time.

It always seems like some new discovery awaits for this category here and it's always delicious. Coffee drinks remain amazing, creative and unique especially for the area that doesn't delve into the specifics that this place does. On our latest visit we had some amazing sweets that involved pistachio and once again it doesn't disappoint. So very delicious. Still five stars all of the way and I don't see that changing anytime soon!

I used to visit the Sacramento location, so it was a nice surprise seeing one nearby. My review is mainly for the desserts since I still haven't tried the coffee yet (though I'm sure it's probably great too since they're known for their Yemeni coffee). The menu seems very similar to the Sacramento location, but I'm giving 4 stars because they don't carry the one dessert I've been seriously craving: Turkish delight! The Sacramento location has it and I was definitely hoping to grab some here but I didn't see any on display or on the menu :( The milk cakes were thankfully just as good and super consistent between locations. We ordered the pistachio milk cake and the caramel milk cake (different pricing, depending on flavor probably). Both were incredibly moist, flavorful, and just really delicious. If you've never tried the milk cakes here, I definitely recommend them. They taste high quality, for sure, and a perfect treat for a sweet tooth. I had my husband try one for the first time since he likes caramel, and he immediately said it tasted so fancy he felt like he should be sticking his pinky out while eating it lol. I told him it *is* around $10 a slice, after all. We stopped by on a weekday afternoon and the parking lot was busy and the café itself was packed, so it definitely seems like a popular spot. They also have a points rewards program you can sign up for with just your phone number. I'll definitely be back for sweets again.

Recco's: Pour over, Nitro cold brew if they have that on tap, and baked goods by Three Hearts Bakery Cons: Service is a hit or miss at this new location. Being on STW (that is short for South Tacoma Way), I think this location has huge potential for attracting non-locals compared to their 6th Ave location (already established local reputation with regulars), hopefully they staff up to create more flexibility because a lot of times they're backed up on orders especially early mornings due to several crowd rolling in from Howdy Bagel across the street, they're also a bit stoic when it comes to simple greetings. Cortado is one of my favorite coffee drinks but I will not order from this location, today I ordered it with almond milk (which, for cortado of less than 4oz, the portion of milk is not very much but I paid a kidney for it, its my fault) it was $6.07. The barista did provide a tip for next time if I'm looking for a more fuller 8oz drink, I can go for a Flat White. I visit both of their locations fairly regularly and do appreciate this STW location that is closer to me. Parking is on street and has never given any problem finding a spot nearby. Great offerings of seasonal coffee drinks, and I enjoy coming here very early before the crowd hits.

They make their syrups inhouse, and you can tell, even a basic caramel latte tasted like the most delicate, handcrafted drink. They have fun seasonals, they're a hit or miss obviously based on your preferences, but I love them all so far. My go to drink pairing is a cardamon and ginger latte. The inside is SO HOMEY. It's rare to find coffee shops that haven't succumbed to the hospital white aesthetic, so this is so refreshing on the head. It is the ideal shop to study in. The cups and plates are my favorite thing about this place. The cups are handmade and just so stinking cute. The baristas are so welcoming every single time I come in, they look like they just love their job and love to chat with the customers. The outside of the shop is a mint green which really throws me off because the inside is so cute. The parking situation is a little limited as well, there's a few parking spots near the shop and the rest is street parking. They have a large selection of pastries and some food but know that if you come in the afternoon there probably won't be much left, they go pretty quick. Amazing shop, it's a different aesthetic than what most shops are but it feeds that "homey" craving that I have when I want to study at a coffee shop.

The wait is a little long and I feel that is because they take their time with each cup they make. Seating is scarce so if you plan to enjoy your cup inside, do come in when they open because it fills up really quick. My only recommendation if they look into the reviews is to remove the center table and put 2 more 2 seater tables if it still allows within capacity. Never change. Your coffee is great.

My boyfriend and I have stopped by here for coffee and breakfast sandwiches twice before this recent visit and let me tell you that they always taste amazing! We came here again as BECU is currently hosting an event where they let you enjoy a free drink on them and Campfire Coffee was one of the businesses that is participating! It's been a while since we stopped by so we decided to stop by again. I saw on Yelp that dogs were allowed but they are not, however they do offer a generous pup cup! I was greeted by an female employee and she was very professional, kind and patient as I was trying to decide what to get. She also showed that same positive attitude and mannerism with the customers ahead of me as well. The interior is so cozy and they even have a campfire set up which is great for photo ops or just to hang out at. Additionally, they have a corner with shelves of different things to enjoy while you're there too! I went ahead and got one of their seasonal specials: Grandma's Cabin Energy with light ice and my boyfriend got their Peppermint Mocha. I appreciate that she asked me to make sure I liked it before I left but she nailed it, all the flavors came through and it was the right amount of ice! The drink was so good that I forgot to take a picture! Love that they don't upcharge on flavors especially when a lot of other coffee shops do. We also had a conversation about how they have different seasonal menus and look forward making more creative drinks in the future. So glad to see that they are still making fantastic drinks, have stellar service, and offer unique drinks and food/treats.

Service is quick and the workers are friendly. Their bánh mì đặc biệt (deluxe sandwich) and the cà phê sửa đá (iced condensed milk coffee) are my typical go-tos. The sandwich has layers of meat and portioned appropriately. The pâté adds a rich umami flavor and the Vietnamese bơ (mayo) gives it a buttery flavor. The veggies are always healthy and seem fresh. Also their jalapeños actually have a kick unlike most places I've been to. I recommend this staple to anyone looking for a solid Vietnamese sandwich in Tacoma. Great place to chill and have coffee to start your day. They have other foods like noodle soups, stews, and a rice plate. I haven't tried any of them, but it might be something I might look into in the future
