I lived in Boise for many years but moved away 13 years ago. I was passing through town as I made a cross-country move and had a flat tire. I chose Commercial because it was the closest tire store to where I was staying. The service was exemplary. I was greeted with a smile as I told them I wanted a new tire because this tire kept losing air and I assumed it was done. It turned out that it had 3 puncture wounds in it and they repaired all 3 and sent me on my way quickly without any charge! I drove on to Seattle without any issues. I have been using Commercial Tire on Apple for years. Tires, oil change etc. they have always been very helpful and very courteous. Today, after trying everything I could think of to get my key out of the ignition, I drove over there for help. Chris, BJ, and Alex did an exemplary job for me today. I've been doing a bug build with my daughter for about 6 months now. They went way above and beyond my expectations. They did not have the easiest of jobs to do yet did an amazing great job. Alex and BJ worked through issue after issue that kept popping up and did it with a smile on their faces that was genuine and not faked. I greatly appreciated all of their efforts when the car was finished. We have a lot of construction in our neighborhood and I ran over a screw. I went here expecting to buy a new tire and they fixed for me free and just said to be sure and come back. We did to our new tires on our daughter's car. They were helpful, fast and did great work. We are fans now!! read more

We had great service for years with this commercial tire (see my review from 2015) but we've had a noticeable decline in service the last couple of times we went there. For 1 recent repair it took 2 days longer than they said it would and then we had to call them to find out why. Then at pickup we had a mysterious $80 charge we contested, thankfully the manager removed that from our final bill but it was still $50 higher than our original quote. In the past we often had our final bill come right at or even under the original quote. In February 2017 we brought a vehicle in to replace a flat. When the tech/mechanic was done, he neglected to attach the "donut" back into the tire bay. Instead he just placed it loose in the trunk. Three weeks later I opened the trunk to discover this and it had bent/ damaged the interior of the trunk as a result. I emailed the assistant manager from the business card that was attached to our paperwork and never did receive any kind of response back. We're looking elsewhere for future tire service. read more

Found a nail in my tire on way to work this morning. Searched Commercial Tire in Apple street and called for an appointment, and i was allowed to drive in immediately. The shop was busy but they still managed to fix my tire within 30min, and for free! I appreciate so much for their quick response and super warm customer service. For YEARS, the family at the Apple location Commercial Tire has taken care of our family's vehicles. This is not just a "tire store!" (Although, it is where we buy all of our tires, too.) Their mechanics are knowledgeable and trustworthy, and maintenance and repairs are always done in a timely manner. Their service prices are completely reasonable, and many times under priced. Chris and Tony are simply amazing! They are honest, kind, and professional. The team goes out of their way to make even the worst car-repair situation bearable. They keep you in the loop the entire time they are working on your vehicle, and bend over backwards to do the right thing for you and your family's needs. The only reason we would take our vehicles any where else is if it is something they simply are unable to do. Apple St. in Boise location: I took my vehicle in for an oil change, which included a multi-point inspection. They said my battery was bad, which didn't make sense to me since it was only a year old. I had it checked at a battery store and it checked out just fine and in very good condition. Be prepared for upselling and unnecessary repairs. I am very disappointed, esp. since I chose this location due to the good reviews. read more

My family has been going to Commercial Tire on Apple for 10+ years, but ever since Tony left, the service and compassion has gone downhill. It took 2 DAYS to get our car back from its last service, even though we called to check its status. It didn't look like the car had even moved from its spot from the day before. I personally have had problems with their "calls" telling me my car was ready -- I ended up calling them and asking the status and their reply was that they had left me a message 4 hours ago that the car was ready. No call, no message. Very frustrated w/ their service lately and the amount of money we've had to spend getting our cars "fixed." After 10+ years of loyalty, we are in search of a new place to take our 6 vehicles. read more

Commercial tires went out of their way for me to rotate my tires for free. Most places won't do it for free unless you bought your tires from them. Thank you for helping me out at the last minute. The staff was very kind also. read more

And they have lost me as a customer. I went in to get my snow tires bolted on last week and was told that my rear shocks needed to be replaced. I know nothing about cars, but luckily I've been taking my car to the honest mechanics at Hurless Brothers for years. I checked with them and not only did I NOT need shocks, but Commercial's quote for the work was twice what Hurless would charge. And I don't use Hurless because they are cheap. So bye bye Commercial. I won't be buying the shocks, or any more tires from you for my BMW. And your mechanic left grease all over the inside of my car. Find another lady to try to scam. read more
