I took my car into the shop because the air conditioner stopped working. The technician had it for a few minutes and told me that ther was no power to the compressor. I made an appointment to have the air conditioner to have a thorough diagnostic. while I was still making the appointment the technician told us the air conditioning was working again already. In surprise I asked how and was told that a connection had been repaired. they were sure that they did not want to be paid when I offered. I am verry happy with how I was treated and the excellent service I got. I am definitely recomending this shop to anyone who needs auto repairs. read more

They are nice enough people but very expensive and mark up parts a crazy amount I can buy the exact same part they sold me for $300 less. So either their parts supplier is ripping them or they are ripping their customers either way. We eat the high bill. Good learning experience for my boy was his car and I did everything they did and even removed and reinstalled the alternator in about 4 hours If I made what I paid them would be 179 a hour. And they never took off the alternator. read more

Driving home from Jump Creek and our 2007 Explorer began overheating. Upon inspection at home, the coolant reservoir was empty so I filled it up to realize the leak was from a coolant line. Looked up reviews, called Eagle auto and told them where the leak was and which hose needed replacing. Pushed the car with the help of AAA out to the street and had it towed in. Told the service rep the issue, and that the car hadn't been started to avoid coolant from spraying all over the motor. Got the call that the repairs were done but that the car "is still misfiring pretty bad." (Wait.. it wasn't misfiring when we parked in the driveway?) Paid the bill, and my wife drove the Explorer home as it bucked like a bronco and died at a light or two. Called the shop and explained. They said it may have been like that before, cant prove it. I called back to ask the service rep if anyone drove it and she said "they have to test drive it to find the issue." Meaning, lack of communication led to them covering the wires, injector boots, injectors, and spark plugs in antifreeze. I spent the next day cleaning and replacing everything myself to fix the problem they created. Did they replace the part it came in for? Yes. Did taking my car there result in more money and a Saturday to fix what they caused? Yes. Two stars since thank goodness I can fix most things myself. read more

Nice guys. Convenient location to downtown Eagle. We had to wait a week to get in so they are busy. After diagnosing the initial problem and fixing it, they then found a lot more wrong after the initial repair. Great communication and patience to explain and answer my questions but prices seemed way too high. After getting the most urgent work done, I drove my car across town for a second opinion from a trusted mechanic friend and was told at least one of the major recommended repair items was not needed. In a nutshell, I cannot recommend Eagle Auto repair for much more than a diagnostic and/ or repairs and maintenance you know you you need. Most of the recommended work that they stated was true, but not all were necessary and their prices were also way over inflated. One of the biggest and priciest repairs they recommended that was urgent was bogus so I'm so glad that I got a second opinion. read more

The people there are genuinely kind, and care about providing you the best service possible. They want all work to be done well, and they want to ensure that your vehicle is safe to drive after it's been worked on. The team at Eagle Auto has gone above and beyond to help me with some of the issues that had been going on with my car. They were upfront and honest with me, didn't pressure me into any choices, and made me feel perfectly comfortable with my decisions in regards to the car. When my car needed a small part, rather than charge me for it, they gave me the part, put it on for me, and gave me a smile. That was it. They're definitely not out to nickel and dime their customers. They're great with kids, too. The other day, I brought in my three-year-old daughter. While we were waiting for a diagnostic on the car, one of the workers brought a box full of brand new hot wheels to my daughter. He let her pick one, and she loved it. It is clear and evident in every interaction that I've had with someone at Eagle Auto that they are good people, who value others and the quality of their work. I have only used Eagle Auto Repair twice, but both times I was impressed. They diagnosed and corrected the problem with my ride and charged a very reasonable rate. Generally speaking, auto repair shops are not the most honest bunch. The mechanics and staff at Eagle Auto Repair are trustworthy. Recently, I had a check engine light that I wanted cleared from my truck's computer. I knew what the problem was and corrected it, but the light remained on. Dave came out immediately and hooked his computer gadget up to my truck and 2 minutes later, the engine code was cleared. I asked if there was a charge? Dave said, "No, we like to be the shop that you can stop by at any time for something like this". I highly recommend Eagle Auto Repair! When I called these guys they quoted $185, and at the end of the day ended up being 184.95. While I appreciate a response from the owner, I never spoke with him. The services were deemed severe by the employee calling. After getting a second opinion, the intake gasket was indeed leaking, but it was leaking antifreeze, not motor oil. Also, regarding the picture of the oil level: the owners manual states 4 quarts should be used. When you change the filter and drain the oil, 4 quarts only fills it to half of the oil dip stick when cold. So if near the end of the oil change cycle the oil level is still at half on the dip stick, how can it be leaking oil? I was specifically told the level was low and the reason I didn't see any drips in the garage was because of a skid plate catching it. Both are incorrect. I have since sold the vehicle to someone else, so this inspection just delayed me selling my car by 2-3 months. This caused a lot of frustration. It would probably be best if the owner always dealt with this situations personally instead of his staff making things up. read more

I was quoted $365.11 labor for the installation of 8 spark plugs and coil packs on my F-150. I told them I had done 5 of the plugs and coil packs but due to a bad back couldn't finish the back ones. When I picked up my truck the bill was $365.11. When I asked why the full price I was told "those 3 are the hard ones". $121.70 per plug! This is just dishonest and very unprofessional. I will never use this company again. I live in Eagle, not San Francisco. UPDATE: JOSH CALLED THE NEXT MORNING AND THE LABOR CHARGE WAS SATISFACTORILY LOWERED. read more

I have NEVER in my life come even CLOSE to having as bad of an experience with mechanics, as I have at Eagle Auto Repair. I have taken my car there TWICE. The first time they told me that my car needed a new engine, and they were worried it would blow up as soon as I left the parking lot. Thankfully I didnt listen despite all their warnings, because I took it to another mechanic, and all it needed was a new O2 sensor. Then a few months ago I had to take my car in and since they could get me in before anyone else, I took my car back. This time they said I needed a new alternator and it was going to be $700. So once again, I took my car to the same mechanic I took it to for the O2 sensor, and sure enough, it wasn't my alternator, I just needed a new battery. he did it for under $100, so I saved $600. What is even MORE INFURIATING coming from ANYONE, whether it's a person or a business is what they did after I said no to getting the alternator replaced. I drove my car home and parked it in the garage until I took it to the other mechanic. When I pulled the car out of the garage, there was oil all over the floor. My car has NEVER had any issues with oil. I asked the other mechanic to check it out while he had it in. He found that the drain plug had been loosened. Sabotaged. It had no problems before we went to Eagle Automotive. There you have it. We paid $100 for each diagnostic, and both times, they tried to coerce me into replacing things that were fine, and cost me HUNDREDS more than the true problem. This is fraudulent and flat out STEALING money. $200 for diagnostics, just to be lied to and have a story completely made up. I don't even know how these crooks sleep at night. read more

I didn't feel like they were trying to upsell me on services that were not needed and the price was fair. They also gave me a lift to a nearby coffee shop while they serviced my vehicle. If all businesses ran their services like Eagle Auto Repair, the world would be a better place. My husband is a wheelchair user. His wheelchair becomes the drivers seat and he uses hand controls. That didn't stop them for a minute. They made the necessary adjustments to accommodate a "regular" driver and returned the car to his specialized accommodations without hesitation. They did a beautiful job on the body work that needed to be done. They did it cheerfully and in a timely manner. In fact, to accommodate the "seating arrangement" the finishing touches were done in our own driveway. Way to go Eagle Auto Repair. I'll recommend you whenever I get the chance. read more

I took my classic car in there that needed a lil bit of work, everything these idiots told me was about the opposite of what they did!! they charged me over $4,000 for what they done and I made it about a half mile and car died, had to tow it!!Took it back three times for them to fix it and all that happened was they kept it for three weeks and ran out 3/4 tank of gas test driving it they said!! Now mind you this is an older Corvette so tell me where they test drovbe it when they never fixed anything!!! EVERYTHING these so called mechanics did to my car, I had to have fixed and redone!!!
