Took my landscape trailer in to have the bearings changed. Upon pick up, I noticed the hubs had play in them. mechanic came out and said there is supposed to be play in them. Wrong! There should be no wobble (play) in the hubs. Had him take off the hubs and tighten the nut on the spindle to where it stopped and then had him back it off just enough for the tire to spin freely. Anybody working in a service center should know that there is no play in the hub. (wobble). Same time I took in my truck for over 2,000.00 in repair. Got it back. Ran worse after bringing it in. On top of all of this, there was a part missing under the hood. Very frustrating. I would not recommend this Commercial tire location! read more

I had my oil changed on my motorhome on Thursday, drove home only to find oil dripping all over my driveway and garage. I drove back to the shop on Friday, where they put in a new oil filter and had to replace the 3.2 quarts of oil that had leaked out. They sent a person out to clean my floor and driveway, but it is still a mess. I took off on a trip on Saturday, got about 200 miles when my battery and thermostat lights came on and the power steering went out. After spending a day trying to figure out what was going on, it turned out that the oil had destroyed the fan belt. A Good Samaritan replaced the belt in the middle of the night. I took off the next morning and the coolant light came on. They didn't top off the coolant and the wiper fluid was completely dry. I did receive a refund plus money to cover the night at a campground that we didn't get use. This doesn't make up for a lost day in Yellowstone and Craters of the Moon. NEVER USE THIS SERVICE IN EAGLE, IDAHO. read more

Follow up to my review below and the owner's response. NOT correct. The salesperson never told my husband they would be closed over the weekend. Neither one of us had any voice message from them telling us they were closing either. That is a lie. When the salesperson called to say the car was ready, he never mentioned being closed over the weekend. read more

The mechanics can't diagnose right and make sure to take there time don't waste money here.

They don't honor tire warranty. Bought 4 Firestones with 65k warranty exactly 2 years ago. 34k miles later, one tire went flat 3 times, with one flat due to the wear of the tire (not a puncture). From the moment I explained the wear issue, the technician started rattling off excuses as to why the warranty might have been violated. After his 5th excuse, while he could see two tires with less than 3/32nd tread, I gave up. It was clear the warranty wouldn't be honored. I guess saving themselves $100 was more important than keeping a great customer. Since 2007, I bought tires for 4 vehicles and had Commercial Tire service 7 vehicles. Never again. Tire Choice on Glenwood is the place for REAL, honest tire service. Gary's Place on Orchard is a great, honest mechanic. Done with Commercial Tire. Update based on the false comments by the owner: 1) Tech measured nothing. 2) His excuses of why warranty could be voided began in the store before he ever viewed the tires. 3) I provided evidence of 2 tire rotations. 4) Since all 4 tires had nearly equal wear, the number of times the tires were rotated is meaningless. 5) Tech said tires had to be rotated every 5,000 miles. What a crock of crap. No one does that. My oil changes occur every 7,500 to 10,000 miles, at which time I rotate the tires. Your nonsense about rotating 5,000 miles is the perfect example of the excuses you use to not stand by the warranty. It's clear from your response that my evaluation is spot-on. You sell shitty tires with zero intention of ever honoring the warranty. You're a scam artist. read more

Worst experience I have ever had. Waited an hour and twenty minutes and didn't even get my car in. And I actually had an appointment. Do not go to this place. They were not considerate. At one point an employee laughed at me as I was explaining that I had an appointment and had been waiting over an hour. When I called him out on it he literally challenged me by saying "I'd better watch what I was saying." unbelievable. Why make appointments? I missed my trip for Saturday with no alignment. read more

Second time I've wasted my time there. First time 45 minute oil change turned into 2.5 hours. They blamed covid and staffing issues. Tried again today. Had 10 am appointment. At 10:45 my truck was still sitting outside. Lady at the front told me appointment time doesn't mean that's when your vehicle is worked on. Obviously they don't know the definition of appointment. Another customer was furious that her 45 minute service was now 2.5 hours and counting. Very disorganized, don't seem to have any grasp of business. Stay away. read more

Austin at Commercial Tire is not an honest guy. I made an appointment for my daughter to get new tires. I stated that I would be out of town and just wanted tires. I picked tires out and agreed on a price. While I was out of the country (w/o cell service) they told my daughter she needed new brakes....they did not explain why or how much to her. She said "fine" and they proceeded to replace the entire rear brake system! I drove this car and know mechanics of brakes...the car did not need brake pads, new calipers, and new rotors!!! They left me a brief message which I received once I returned and the work was already done!! I called Austin and voiced my concerns and asked to see the parts he took off, he said he would look and get back to me which he never did.... I have used Commercial Tire many times over the years, but I will NEVER use them again.... Stay away from this place!! read more

I have been using Commercial Tire for years. I moved to Eagle, ID a few years ago. The first year the service was excellent at the Eagle Store. This last year the service has declined immensely!! Lets talk about my most recent experience. I scheduled an oil change online. Easy enough.. About 30 minutes later I have an employee (Vladimir) from Commercial tire call to confirm my appointment. Calls me the wrong name, I mentioned my actual name and he argued with me and told me he did not say the wrong name. Hmmm. I don't tend to make things up. So that was the 1st issue. On my appointment day I show up at 9am, my appointment time. Vladamir (the employee) asks me "if I have the correct location?". I answer "yes". He asks, "have you been here before?" I answer "yes, I've been a customer for years". He is looking in his computer and tell's me "OH! You scheduled your appointment on the wrong day"....... He basically told me, we will get to you when we can, hope you are dropping your car off" When I got home I found my print out of my appointment confirmation, which confirms I had the right time and day. I called the store to let them know, in fact I did have the right day and time and I wanted my car done within 4 hours. YES I GAVE THEM 4 hours, which I should NOT have had to do. There was no apology!! NOTHING!! I have never been treated like this, I am a single lady and look to specific businesses that I can trust to help me with my car needs, since I don't have anyone else. Vladimir needs to learn what customer service is. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THE COMMERCIAL TIRE IN EAGLE AGAIN!! Meridian store is AMAZING!!! I will drive out of my way to get good service. read more
