First, I would like to say that the staff at this location are pretty great. They were extremely responsive and very helpful. When I inquired about four tires for my 2016 F150 truck a few years ago, they suggested just the right tire for my needs. They installed them in a timely manner and the tires have so far held up great. I do however have one that seems like it's got a flat spot or something so I need to diagnose that. Here's where it goes sideways. I picked up my truck, admiring my new rubber without noticing that whoever installed these tires on my stock, F150 rims literally chipped the chrome finish off of the rim all the way around from the machine. I didn't notice it then so it's not likely that they would do anything about it now so I'm stuck with these at this point. Even though I love the rubber I would not return to Les Schwab simply because of the thousands of dollars of damage to my rims. How do I know it was less Schwab? They are the only shop or business that has ever touched my tires and rims in the history of this vehicle. The only shop. That's how I know. It was less Schwab here and Eagle. So, based on that experience, and in spite of their great customer service, I would not recommend Les Schwab tires. The right thing to do here would be to compensate me for the damage to my rims with a repair or replacement. It's not likely these can be repaired since it looks like these rims are an OEM synthetic product. And, that it happened a couple years ago. I guess it's my bad that I didn't triple check their work, which I usually do with a fine tooth comb, when I picked it up, but who would imagine that a nationwide company that does this nearly every minute of every day would do such careless work damaging my rims so badly? What more can be said for the fastest, most polite and competant people servicing cars? I have bought a tire from them after slicing one open on my car. The CHOICE of various tires for my car was surprising - all different life wear options. The prices were VERY competitive. I bought a battery from them after AAA didn't have my model in stock. The AAA battery died within the warrenty period and that paid for the Schwab battery. They send me notices asking me to stop in for a free rotation. They just fixed a tire (not bought from them) that had a little nail in it and constantly triggered my car's computer to tell me low inflation. NO COST. Occasionally, I have had things that need to be investigated and I always drive into Les Schwab. Some friendly employee always greets me and looks into the matter immediately - getting me back on the road within minutes at no charge. Les Schwab is like having a family member for repairs, except more reliable. Huge kudos to the team. I am blown away by these guys and their policies. Here I am at LES SCHWAB getting my 4 snow tires rotated off. When I bought the snow tires I was told by LES SCHWAB that I would need 2 new all weather tires when I did the rotation in the spring to match my newest 2 all weather tires and that I should have matching tires all around. They would do that in the spring. I was just told that they don't carry the brand of all weather tire I have for my car. So thanks for that! It would have been nice to have been told that when I bought the snow tires. So I either have unmatched tires or I buy 4 new tires from LES SCHWAB. I'll buy 2 unmatched tires here because I've already been here for an hour waiting and need to get this taken care of today. I wouldn't be doing business with LES SCHWAB again. P. S. No one likes spending a big chunk of money when it's time for a new set of tires, but it needs to get done. I used to purchase all my tires and have them installed at Walmart but the customer service there has gotten worse and worse so I decided to pay the $50-100 price difference for the same tires at Les Schwab in Eagle, ID. It was so worth it. The staff there are friendly and welcoming. They schedule appointments and stick to them. They have a very quick turnaround time. And they actually take the time to work with you to find the right tire at the best price. They're not just friendly when selling you either. They're friendly with every free rotate and balance and with tire repairs. Absolutely appreciate that customer service is alive and well here. Les Schwab's are in general a little pricey so I'm not going to deduct a star for that because you get what you pay for and this location in Eagle is top notch. Friendly employees, fast service, and it's a clean facility. I've purchased 2 sets of tires from here and everything went great. The free rotations, balancing, etc. are awesome and they don't seem annoyed when you bring your vehicle in for these services even though they're not making any money on you that day. Can't say the same for some of the competitors. Also, brought in a flat tire that they did not sell us and they patched it up and wouldn't accept any money for it. I don't expect anything free in 2022 so that was a pleasant surprise. A+ read more

Please think twice before going to Les Schwab in Eagle. My husband and I are unfortunately are having to deal with the dishonest work from Les Schwab in Eagle. I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else and what you did to hopefully get them to do the right thing... we took our Jeep in for an easy aux battery change yesterday, but it soon became the worst decision we have ever made. Once we picked it up and started to drive away, the car started to malfunction and then completely shut down while in drive in the middle of State street, which is literally less than a quarter mile from their shop. The car worked just fine when it was dropped off, so you can imagine our surprise when the car died in the middle of the road. The car behind my husband stopped to try to help him but there was nothing they could do to move it. Thankfully the Eagle police showed up to make sure everyone was safe and helped redirect traffic. We called Les Schwab and Darrin the store manager said sorry that was nothing we did and you can have the car towed to a shop, as if they didn't want anything to do with it. Are you kidding me!!! Thankfully we fought them and they finally got the car towed back to there shop. We then get a call two hours later from Darrin basically saying there is nothing he can do anymore and we have to get it towed and fixed somewhere else. I was not only surprised by his lack of knowledge of their mistakes but also their lack of responsibility. How dare do you break someone's vehicle and have the audacity to say you are now responsible to get your own vehicle out of our shop and get it fixed. I'm obviously going to fight this because they should not be allowed to do business in this manner. I have heard from others that this is absolutely not uncommon, which is shocking and not acceptable. We're now having to fight a company we trusted to do the right thing and possibly be out of a vehicle for a long time. read more

Never coming back here ever again. I came here yesterday to get my tire fixed because it had a nail in it (all that I needed was a patch)...I have waited for almost 2 hours with my 14 month old baby to drive away with a tire that could've potentially popped on the way back home putting me and my family in danger. Once I got back home which was a short drive from the tire shop , I have came to realization that my tire has been deflating on my ride back home from Les Schwab (it went from 41 to 33)...the tire that was supposed to be fixed after a 2 hour wait. It was too late to go back to the tire shop so once I woke up the next morning to check on my tire, my car has showed me that my tire is now deflated to 25...I drove back to the Les Schwab in Eagle and the guy from yesterday said that I would have to wait another 2-3 hours...this is ridiculous, if you make a mistake please make effort to fix it?? I have made the decision to call the les Schwab in meridian to where they were able to take me in immediately and the staff was incredibly nice. I was told that the reason why my tire was deflating is because the plug in my tire was never put back...so the Les Schwab at Eagle put a patch on my tire but kept my plug so my tire has been deflating with a speed of light, horrible. Also, I wanted to add that the lady at the front desk was incredibly rude when I've asked if I could get my tire fixed, I was told she's a manager there. Please avoid this place at all cost, it's a joke ...I had a horrible experience. read more

I ordered parts for repair on Monday was confirmed yesterday for today. I drop off the vehicle, took off work only to get a phone call that the guy who ordered the parts is off and no one knows where they are and sorry we can't work on your car. I headed directly here and was helped immediately. While they had my car up on the riser, I played three games of Simpsons pinball on the old-school machine they had inside. Just as I was heading over to the seating area to wait, my name was called and my car was ready. They explained that they found a small nail in the tire and they repaired the tire. No charge. Terrible. I go in with a tiny wheelbarrow tire that needs to be checked for a leak and then aired up. I let them know that I would wait because I had two employees waiting for me and the tire. What do they do, but set it in the corner to go back working on brakes and what not. After 40 minutes, I just asked for the tire back. Then, the guy says, "I didn't know you needed it right away". First time I stepped in this place, I was impressed by the friendly staff and their honesty and their clear explanation of what my vehicle needed. Second time I went there to rotate my tires, this character wearing large glasses covering half of his face tried to outsmart me and said that my tires need to be replaced immediately because they are so worn out and it's not safe to use them anymore. He already had a list in his hand of all the tires that he wanted me to choose from. A free tire rotation was going to turn into a thousand dollar bill. Went and rotated the tires somewhere else and just to prove to myself that I am not blind, I asked the guy about the condition of the tires and he said that they are still in good shape. Not sure if this guy wanted to make some extra commission in his pocket by playing the salesman scare or what. Quick props to Les Schwab Tire here in Eagle, ID. Yesterday we were dropping off our son for physical therapy when the left front tire started making a horrendous shrieking noise. The brakes were good and we had the tires rotated somewhere else a few months ago. I knew this could not wait so I drove over to where we had our snow tires on our Explorer changed out for all weather tires in the spring. Lucky for us it was less than a mile from my son's PT. As we pulled in with horrendous shrieking coming from the car, we were concerned we could not get back to pick our son up in 45 minutes. We explained the situation to the friendly service tech and he said they would have a look as soon as they could get to it. About ten minutes later another service tech came running out to the car understanding our time crunch. He quickly got it onto the lift and inspected the area causing the shriek. He pulled something from the wheel well, showed it to yet another tech, did a quick adjustment, brought the car down off the lift, and explained we had a rock jammed up inside the brake. So I went to go pay for the service and all they said was NOPE* NO CHARGE, it took us 30 seconds. They opened the door for us as we tried to give them "something for their effort" and they just smiled and said, "Come back again when you need your next service". We love Eagle and the friendly supportive attitude of the businesses here. read more

I live in Louisiana and my son who lives in Eagle, ID.. his car wouldn't start and I couldn't reach him to see exactly what was wrong. I knew where he was but his phone was dead. I called Les Schwab and asked if they made mobile service calls to jump off a vehicle. Meanwhile it was snowing bad and very good in ID and this vehicleis all my son has. I was frustrated with my experience today and I will be going to Commercial Tire for my next alignment and tire swap. I had my vehicle's alignment completed at this very shop about two months ago ~2,000 miles ago as well (This was another ordeal which took 4 trips to complete itself). However despite this fact I was charged for a two tire alignment today when I returned to get my snow tires put on and asked for a check up on that alignment. Representatives were wholly unsympathetic and I got the impression customer service was not a priority. -Update: We were overcharged for our tire size which prompted us to call and speak to a manager. The manager listened to our concerns and left us feeling a bit better. However I feel it should not have had to come to that. read more

This location is a life saver . I went in during the winter the day after a huge snowstorm. I had a roofing nail in my tire. The staff was friendly , and I was immediately greeted with a smile . They quickly got my car in and repaired my tire within 20 minutes. The best part? They did not charge me . I had not purchased my tires there and I was fully expecting to pay .
