I absolutely love calm food hall, especially the DJ scene at night on Fridays. It's a great social place to go. Great place to play games. Get good drinks a happy hour eat amazing food and it's right in the downtown area of Silver Spring. There is street parking but I would suggest that you get there early enough to find you a good space it's definitely a great new gem in Silver Spring and I encourage you to check it out!

I went on a whim on a Wednesday night. I initially came for a cheesesteak but it was closed. All of the other businesses were open as far as I saw. They were having a karaoke. I decided to try one vendor before I left because I all the way over there to eat. I tired the taco place...decent prices, but the flavor wasn't there I was actually really disappointed . I will come back to try the momos and Claud have mercy. The food hall is beautiful, quiet and Parking is easy to find. I didn't have a great first food experience but I'll give it another spin.

Ooooh a new food hall! If you remember Le Fantome (RIP), you may recognize some staff and cocktails at the bar here. I haven't been a good month and a half and I'm sure new spots have opened up, but there was still a good amount of things there when I visited. Some things were familiar, and some were totally new to me. I've had Momo Hub at their food truck and was quite frankly obsessed back then -- so it was nice to have them again. I'm no stranger to Tokoa Cheesesteaks since their brick-and-mortar isn't far from my home... great sandwich! And J&J has popped up in a few other food halls, so I've had and enjoyed them. The new one to me is Tato's, which makes some creative and custom french fry, sweet potato fry, or tater platters for you. I was so stoked to see a Jamaican one on the menu -- and of course I got it lol. They were fantastic, I love them. There is plenty of seating in the food hall, and there's an automatic dispenser for beers and ciders... you don't see those too often! And according to their site, looks like there are still some stalls on the way... and I appreciate the maps they have available. Looking forward to paying them a visit again in the near future!

Food was good and service was great! We tried momo hub and tatos and enjoyed the food. We got the momos and while it was a like spicy, it was delicious. The loaded fries were perfect and comforting. You can choose a baked potato, wedges or fries and load them up with a protein, sauces and toppings. Overall it was great, just a little pricey! I look forward to trying more options.

This was my first visit to the food hall that occurred on a Saturday afternoon. It was not crowded. Only 6 out of 12 food vendor spaces were occupied. I tried J & J Mex-Taqueria and ordered 2 fish tacos. It took 20 minutes to wait, but the cook was not busy with many orders. The tacos were good, but small when compared to tacos at Cafe Rio or California Tortilla. The dining area is large and clean. There is a water machine that dispenses sparkling or regular water. The restrooms are not separated into men and women sections, but are shared. Hope to see more food vendors occupy the spaces so there is more variety.

Amazing food hall! Everything we've tried here is amazing. I think our favorite is Tatos but the others are great too. The drinks are very good too and they have cocktail and food pairings as well as a craft beer wall. Definitely beat the now closed Solaire Social on that.

Great food hall atleast 6 options several area to sit. A lot of cuisine ranges from African to Asian. They also offer free water and sparkling water. They have tvs around with subtitles as well

What a gem in a sort of sleepy mall food court! We tried a few things - the standouts were the Momo Hub dumplings and chatamari and the loaded Mexican baked potato from Tatos. I'd definitely be back to try a few more things. The live music was also a hit - made it feel more like a date night and less like a food court. ;)

I also find the uniqueness of the space appealing. My coworkers down here told me that this use to be a department store at one point and then it got redone into what is essentially an urban mall now. One that I personally think works. Parking is fairly easy here. You can do street (if you can find a spot) or the parking garage across the street. Depending on the floor you park on in the garage you have two options to enter Ellsworth. You can take the footbridge which will take you to the fourth floor of the mall, or you can go street level and cross the street. One inside it is a bit of a maze to find where you want to go. My tip here is to start on the bottom and make your way to the top. If you are a discount store shopper than this is the place for you. You can hop from TJ Maxx to Marshalls, than onto Ross's and Burlington. Throw in some Five Below and DSW and you probably just found an outfit for far less than going to a department store. I don't know what this was like before I moved down here, but it looks like it is in bit of a transition. The shoe store on the one level was on its way out and there appeared to be a storefront that was having work done on the inside. Food options inside aren't the best, but at least there are some. Honestly, with the proximity of this place, there are a lot of options just right outside too.

I don't come here very often because honestly there's not much really for me. The place has had some upgrades over the years, but it's still pretty basic and not too many options! The lower level has some food selections but you're better off going outside with way more choices. There's an hourly garage connected to the "mall" and metered street parking!

They've got all the staples: JCPenneys, Costco, Macy's, Target, H&M, plus smaller stores like Five Below and Bed, Bath and Beyond. The food court is huge and continues to grow, with some older spots being replaced by newer options. I was first introduced to this mall in a pretty unconventional way--at a dance event hosted by Urban Dance Artistry. The space was large enough to host a big crowd and still allow for smaller performance pockets, which showed me how versatile the mall space actually is. As far as cleanliness goes, the mall itself is generally clean and bustling with a very diverse crowd, which I love to see. The only downside? The bathrooms could definitely use some attention. They can be messy and not the freshest-smelling at times. Although I do really like that they have a separate area for kids to wash their hands. I'm not much of a mall shopper these days, and a lot of the stores aren't necessarily places I'd go out of my way for. But as a parent? This place is gold. My son absolutely loves the play area. There's also a paid bounce house spot near it (which he thoroughly enjoyed), and they have the indoor train that rides through the mall--which is basically a core childhood memory waiting to happen. It's also a great spot for teens to meet up at. I love that they have a little photo booth to print out 4 pictures on a strip, very nostalgic vibes. It's also super convenient. The Wheaton train station is right there, but it's also a hub for a lot of buses, making public transit access incredibly easy. On top of that, you've got nearby restaurants, Party City, a grocery store, and plenty of other essentials within walking distance. There's even a CVS Pharmacy nearby. Overall, it's a solid, practical, family-friendly mall. Not luxury, not glamorous--but convenient, affordable, and full of things to do--especially if you have kids. Four stars from me.

I've only seen the area from the highways that are tree lined. I am quite amazed by how out of touch I was for this area. This mall is quite expansive. The one thing I love about the DMV area is that the malls are still thriving. Not to the point where every single store is filled, but no where near dead mall territory. I had some time to kill before I had to head back home and wanting to pick up some items. Parking here had me. I wasn't sure where would be the best place to park. I ended up in the outdoor lots and didn't even want to mess with the parking structure. As a note, early here means you will encounter a slew of parents with their children in tow. Be careful and mindful in the parking lot as they will be everywhere. The mall had a bit of everything in here. The typical anchors and national chains you would expect to find in a mall. Food court area was jammed with eateries and customers. I opted to not eat here. Would definitely come back. Especially on a lazy day. Good people watching, enough stores to grab whatever you might be thinking of getting, and ample parking.

The restaurants available inside the mall is always interesting. I saw a new Thai takeaway place downstairs near where Claire's used to be. The selections of the store keeps evolving. I had no idea Lululemon moved and has a bigger store now. It's hard to believe that the malls in America are dying when you see how crazy busy it is at the Mall. I couldn't find parking until I parked closer to the old Sears lot. And that was during a weekday well after Christmas and New Year's too. My nickname at work used to be the Mall Rat Haha! I can't wait to discover what new stores are coming and going the next time I return.
