Soup dumplings, pan fried dumplings, peanut sauce wonton, scallion pancakes and sweet & sour pork.

The food was surprisingly delicious! We thought we ordered too much but was yummy so we finished everything! The service was counter so more like take out but they brought the food to our table. So service was nice. There was a few tables so definitely had room and had a nice decor for a somewhat fast food type place. Definitely don't mind going back if we are nearby again.

This place is a good idea for people who wants to enjoy a quick meal during the day. It is also combined food between Asia and Latin America popular comfort food. I only tried soup dumplings - overall they were fine, intense seasoning filling but quite a little bit pricey for six tiny dumplings - around $14. Anyway I am still curious to explore more other their food in the future, especially chicken and rice menu. Lunar Hall Wheaton is located in Wheaton Park Shoping Center, next to HMart Asia supermarket. No worry for parking - free and spacious. It has a average dining room - clean and new. Their menu has many food selections and styles either appetizers or entrees/a la carte. p.s. another reason that is more interesting to visit this spot is because, they have Kung Fu tea (popular milk tea franchise) inside the restaurant- that is very nice. I ordered a cup of cocoa cream wow - topped with oreo & a cup of oreo slush. If you are sweet mania like me, you will never be disappointed.

Located next to Hmart. This is a new food court for the Wheaton area. Tons of free parking and accepts both cash and credit card. This place offers only 2 vendors at the moment. One is Peruvian chicken and the other is bubble tea (Kung Fu Tea). The interior is very clean and the staff here are very nice. Glad the Wheaton area finally has a food court area where you can get bubble tea and other foods. There are plenty of tables and it's not too loud compared to other food court spots. Great for group gathering and or just want to grab a quick bite. At the Peruvian spot, they also serve hot foods at a hot bar. They also serve pupusas on Saturdays too.

Great place! I got the poke bowl and it was so fresh and delicious. The staff takes good care of orders. I would come again. Love how there is a Kung Fu Tea to get bubble tea as well. And right next to HMART!

Great dive-type counter service. I've only tried the food; dumplings were first rate. Very fast. Lots of seating.

Wheaton Mall is your classic, no-frills local mall--and honestly, it does exactly what it needs to…read moredo. They've got all the staples: JCPenneys, Costco, Macy's, Target, H&M, plus smaller stores like Five Below and Bed, Bath and Beyond. The food court is huge and continues to grow, with some older spots being replaced by newer options. I was first introduced to this mall in a pretty unconventional way--at a dance event hosted by Urban Dance Artistry. The space was large enough to host a big crowd and still allow for smaller performance pockets, which showed me how versatile the mall space actually is. As far as cleanliness goes, the mall itself is generally clean and bustling with a very diverse crowd, which I love to see. The only downside? The bathrooms could definitely use some attention. They can be messy and not the freshest-smelling at times. Although I do really like that they have a separate area for kids to wash their hands. I'm not much of a mall shopper these days, and a lot of the stores aren't necessarily places I'd go out of my way for. But as a parent? This place is gold. My son absolutely loves the play area. There's also a paid bounce house spot near it (which he thoroughly enjoyed), and they have the indoor train that rides through the mall--which is basically a core childhood memory waiting to happen. It's also a great spot for teens to meet up at. I love that they have a little photo booth to print out 4 pictures on a strip, very nostalgic vibes. It's also super convenient. The Wheaton train station is right there, but it's also a hub for a lot of buses, making public transit access incredibly easy. On top of that, you've got nearby restaurants, Party City, a grocery store, and plenty of other essentials within walking distance. There's even a CVS Pharmacy nearby. Overall, it's a solid, practical, family-friendly mall. Not luxury, not glamorous--but convenient, affordable, and full of things to do--especially if you have kids. Four stars from me.

The setup is really convenient with multiple vendors and a full bar, so it's great for groups, casual outings, or even a quick solo stop. Here's what I tried: * From Mex Taqueria, I had the steak tacos--really flavorful and cooked well. They also have a great Taco Tuesday deal ($1.95 tacos with chicken, chorizo, or steak), which I'll definitely be back for. * Momo Hub had chicken dumplings that were juicy and packed with flavor. * The jerk nachos from The Champs Kitchen were one of my favorites--very well seasoned. * Claude Have Mercy was a standout. I tried the salmon tenders, shrimp sliders, and rum cake, and everything was really good. For drinks, I stopped by C3 Bar and tried the Watermelon Candyrita, Claude's Crush, and an espresso martini (The Commuter). All were well-made and complemented the food nicely. Another plus: select bar bites are $9.99 and cocktails are $10 when paired, which makes this a great option for a budget-friendly outing. Overall, I'd definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the area. It's a fun, laid-back spot with a variety of food options, and I can see it becoming a regular go-to.

I've only seen the area from the highways that are tree lined. I am quite amazed by how out of touch I was for this area. This mall is quite expansive. The one thing I love about the DMV area is that the malls are still thriving. Not to the point where every single store is filled, but no where near dead mall territory. I had some time to kill before I had to head back home and wanting to pick up some items. Parking here had me. I wasn't sure where would be the best place to park. I ended up in the outdoor lots and didn't even want to mess with the parking structure. As a note, early here means you will encounter a slew of parents with their children in tow. Be careful and mindful in the parking lot as they will be everywhere. The mall had a bit of everything in here. The typical anchors and national chains you would expect to find in a mall. Food court area was jammed with eateries and customers. I opted to not eat here. Would definitely come back. Especially on a lazy day. Good people watching, enough stores to grab whatever you might be thinking of getting, and ample parking.

I can't believe I haven't written a review for this mall after so many years! The food court is always packed with people with many different choices. The restaurants available inside the mall is always interesting. I saw a new Thai takeaway place downstairs near where Claire's used to be. The selections of the store keeps evolving. I had no idea Lululemon moved and has a bigger store now. It's hard to believe that the malls in America are dying when you see how crazy busy it is at the Mall. I couldn't find parking until I parked closer to the old Sears lot. And that was during a weekday well after Christmas and New Year's too. My nickname at work used to be the Mall Rat Haha! I can't wait to discover what new stores are coming and going the next time I return.

As I walked past to find a different lunch place, I saw a different door with an open sign in it, and noticed the "big crowd" inside. Popping in, I found four people. One looked to be taking pictures for social media. One was sitting at a table, one at the claw machine, and the last, very bored, at one of the counters. Not a great sign. So, the hall reminds me painfully of a mall food court. There are six ish restaurants along one side, lots of seating on the other, and it's literally otherwise a hall. A bar sits at one side, and that was indeed closed. The restaurants are little more than counters, and all have kiosks. Behind them is their presumably shared kitchen. The restaurants are all fast food style. You can order from any restaurant from any kiosk. I chose the Japanese restaurant Milan, and Gong Cha for boba tea (hi, my name is Joshua, and I'm a bobaholic). Gong Cha was good, Milan was okay, but I'm reviewing the space here. Oh, and one of the restaurants also sells cheap, $7 rings -- also a good sign. I did go to the restroom, and it was slightly terrifying. There's a sign over the urinals thats said "DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING." I am not sure what that meant, but I was careful not to touch any surface in the filthy bathroom. You ever use a restroom and you contemplate whether washing your hands after is a net gain or loss? Gross. After eating, I asked the one staff member where to put my tray, which was a single trash can on the far area. None of the restaurants really impressed me, and they're all chain-like. I can get better food in lots of other places, without the mall kiosk feeling. Like traditional malls, this place is painfully dying.

This is just a food stand, near currently Pollo Campero. I ate at iSushi perhaps 2 or 3 times. One of the noteworthy times was on Saturday, January 12, 2019. I had started a Biggest Loser challenge at my work and was trying to lose weight. I got sushi rolls, which was fairly healthy, not a whole lot of food, which a bit of a negative as I was hungry not that long later. iSushi is decent, but nothing to write home about. I've had worse sushi like one time a year earlier in January 2018, I got Safeway grocery store sushi. Now that sushi was weak! My girlfriend at that time was significantly late, like an hour late. We were going to go to a sit-down restaurant in Wheaton before a game night at apartments above the Safeway, but because she was so dang late, we grabbed sushi quickly from Safeway. Interesting side note about this day at Wheaton Mall: On this particular Saturday, I had a 2nd (& last) date with this woman for the movie at AMC Wheaton called On the Basis of Sex about Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg's early days in law school trying to get into law, which was almost unheard of when she started in 1956. At the end of the movie, there were captions about Ginsberg in her real life with pictures. When seeing the real life facts, my date said I didn't realize this a true story. I was surprised she was thinking Ruth Bader Ginsberg was some nice fictional story. In summary, staff at iSushi was nice. It is not a place I'd rush back to, but it's not a bad option in the food court.
