Sadly, our trusty (not so much really) old A/C unit decided to quit giving us humans comfort, right at the same time the desert reached heat advisory temperatures. Quickly, I searched yelp for highly rated A/C repair companies, and found Comfort Experts, being 100% 5 star rated. I have them a call, and surprisingly they answered at 9:30 PM. I set up an appointment to have the A/C looked at the following AM Have you ever had one of those repair guys show up to your house, and make you feel that your inconveniencing them? I have, and the people running ,and working for, Comfort Experts, are NOT those guys. Ryan showed up as promised, 1st thing the following morning. After a quick inspection, Ryan confirmed the the old unit had mysteriously consumed all of its R22 Freon. Well as everyone who's had to add Freon to their A/C in the last 6 years knows, 8 to 10 lbs of Freon was going to be costly. Honestly, the A/C unit was close to 22 years old, and I'm told, had lived well beyond it's life expectancy. Long story short, Ryan gave us a very competitive quote for a replacement, and was able to get it installed on Saturday, which was only 2 days away. I expected a much longer wait time being summer in Arizona. His crew showed up promptly, worked vigorously all day long, and had us back in comfort by the end of the day. I have to give it to these guys, working in that attic is absolutely miserable . Everyone of the guys were 100% friendly and professional. So, yes, I highly recommend this locally owned and operated, highly professional, friendly, 5 star rated company! Ryan was very knowledgeable and professional. A joy to work with. Tech Clay and assistant Uriah spent a lot of time prepping our foam roof that everything level and neatly installed. Unfortunately the roofing contractor that came in the day after the install decided to remove all of the new 4x4's and foam in the roof, setting the new supports on top of the new foam. Not a big problem but negated all of the install's hard work. Lesson learned - when setting units on foam roof, roofers prefer to have an unbroken foam coating. Ryan returned at my request a week later to confirm the install was still good (no charge) after the roofing contractor removed and replaced the new unit. Ryan also spent a lot of time discussing the pro's and con's of several different package heat pumps systems helping me choose from the many choices out there. I am somewhat of a techie but have limited knowledge when it comes to HVAC. I reached out to Comfort Experts to help out with three Nest thermostats that I installed in my mother's home that were not heating properly. Ryan promptly responded to my request quote. Despite not having an opening until a week from now, he offered to diagnose and help me fix my problem over the phone. At my convenience, I called his cell and he answered on his lunch break. He had me snap a few photos to check the setup, made a recommendation, and everything was soon up and running smoothly. I have been partnering with Ryan and Ryan at my commercial site for the better part of 2017 and its a decision I wish I had made sooner. These guys are amazing; they work on your Carrier RTU package units, Carrier and LG mini splits, AHU, AAON, and ecobee system. They have done service, repairs, retrofits, and installs and their work is far superior to any vendor I have come across in the valley.
