Was able to get emergency service late on a Sunday in the middle of summer. Excellent quality and customer service.

My AC unit went out this morning. I called the original company and they couldn't get to my house until Wednesday. I called Comfort Experts and they had a technician at my house by 10:30 this morning. Peter was the technician and he was GREAT!! The pricing was also great. I now have a working AC unit. I will be using Comfort Experts from now on, and will always request Peter as the technician. I will be recommending Comfort Experts to my family and friends as well. read more

I highly recommend Comfort Experts for A/C needs in Arizona! This company is top notch. I did my homework - I had researched 20 companies in Arizona. Their honesty, service and guidance convinced me to go with Comfort Experts. Ryan responded to my calls and questions promptly and he was so helpful during a difficult time when my A/C died. A Big Thank you to Ryan M. and Comfort Experts! Monica in Scottsdale read more

They responded almost immediately after I posted a request for help with my a/c. Said they could get a technician out between noon and 4pm. Chris called me at 12:07pm to say he was on the way. Got here around 12:30 and had the problem fixed in 2 hours. 100% satisfied with this business! read more

As a new business owner I was in a panic when we had a power outage and when the power came on my heater kept turning on to 85° IN SPRING AZ.. when the weather is perfect = sauna in my gym . Confession, this was the 2nd company I called since the first one didnt answer and Inwas SOO happy that Ryan not only answered, but helped me find my breaker box, sent pics to see which one was the AC/Heating unit to turn it off till they could come out and check things out. The guys that came were nice, one was in training but already a smart cookie since he knew about the common wire? I have no idea what that means but the long story short, my AC units are on, they are not blowing hot air and now I have my nest system connected to my phone and functional! I told the guy I would pay his initial come out and check things fee because of our phone call and with the added hour was a bit much, but you cant skimp on quality! Hence the 5 stars: great customer service, right on time and my unit is working. Couldnt ask for more! read more

They arrived as stated on the phone- AZ heatwave- problem fixed. 5 stars and I'll use again read more

We purchased 3 HVAC units from Comfort Experts 3 years ago, we had a good experience at that time, but it all changed this year unfortunately. One of the AC units quit working when my husband was out of town. I went through several problem-solving steps myself to narrow down the issues which I provided to the tech. He fixed the issues in less than an hour (as documented by the receipt). Oddly, he said he had to ask the owner how much to charge, then informed me the labor charge was $590 (part was under warranty). I questioned how less than an hour of work was $590 (which included a $70 service fee) and questioned why he'd have to ask the owner how much to charge (as there should be an hourly labor rate). He tried to position it as a positive that he was effective and efficient. He also stated that if the part hadn't been under warranty that the charge would be around $1,100. I asked if I could pay with ccd, and was told there would be an additional fee. Hence, I paid with a check. My husband, who was well versed in what the problem was, called to inquire why an HVAC technician is charging $520/hour, why I was told the part would be over $500 when Supply House sells the part for less than $50, and why the receipt had conflicting documentation on the problem. The receptionist did agree it was odd and said she'd have the owner call. Unfortunately, the owner chose not to call and address the problem directly; instead had the receptionist call back and agree to lower the labor fee to $360 (inc the $70 service fee). I still must question this kind of an hourly rate; which was explained away that different work carries different charges. Given this experience, I will not be using Comfort Experts again and do not recommend them. I'm extremely frustrated and feel I was taken advantage of by both the owner and tech as a female who was unfamiliar with this trade. read more

A++++ from start to finish. They were so responsive, had someone out right away. It turned out to be a big job, Ryan the owner showed up & called the manufacturer of my unit to see if a couple of the parts were still under warranty! They were. I haven't seen that level of customer service in a long time. And I have to add, as a senior citizen and a woman who lives alone I never once felt like they were trying to scam me. I always have to have my guard up. Not this time. These are honest, hardworking people. I already referred them to a neighbor. Don't hesitate to hire them. read more

The installation crew arrived on schedule and started the installation. They placed the air unit on the old concrete base. It didn't fit. It was clearly on the sales/work order but didn't mention the issue. My husband insisted on the larger base. They had to pause the work and go get the base. They weren't happy about it but they quickly got over the delay. The rest of the install went very well and one of the technicians was exceptional in guiding us through programming the thermostat. read more

*disclaimer - I never post reviews so this is a big deal for me* All AC companies should do business like these guys!! Don't waste your time with anyone else and just call Comfort Experts first. Here's my story... For 2+ weeks, I wasted my time and money with my home warranty company and still had no resolution so I decided to message Comfort Experts on Yelp. BEST DECISION EVER! First, it was only 6am and a live person (Ryan) replied within minutes!! He gave me a reasonable fee to come out for diagnosis and was able to come SAME DAY! Ryan showed up earlier than expected and thoroughly explained the issues and options to me. Somehow he was able to get the necessary part in one hour whereas the warranty company said it would take 5 weeks to get. Now My family and I are sitting in my cooled house during this hot AZ summer! Thank you Comfort Experts! read more

They answered the phone right away on a record-breaking hot Saturday afternoon in June. They offered to come out Monday morning to look at my a/c which was set to 81 degrees but the house was 87 degrees, and I took it. They called back shortly thereafter saying one of their guys finished early and could come right over that afternoon. He showed up quickly, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it. Seemed honest and hard-working. Will definitely call them in the future and recommend them to anyone who needs HVAC help. read more

This company and owner, Ryan, will not provide the filled out SRP energy rebate form so I can submit to SRP for the rebate. I have talked/text/emailed Ryan multiple times and it is now almost 3 months, and he has done nothing, but give excuse after excuse. I spent almost $20,000 on 3 AC units and this company is quick to take my money, even coming over on same day to pick up the check. But once the money is paid and all they have to do is fill out forms for the customer, they refuse to do it. Be extremely cautious with this company if you plan to apply for SRP energy rebates. read more

My air conditioner quit working on a Friday afternoon. It was after 5 pm when I realized the issue. I called Comfort Experts and they sent a wonderful technician, Dakota, out that night. Completely replaced my HVAC system. When they came out for the estimate the guy did research beforehand and knew when my house was built and sqft. I mentioned I had a swamp cooler that was no longer used and they brought a crane by to remove it in addition to replacing my system. They were done in a day and I had my entire system from the 90's replaced. Great experience and highly recommend for quick work at a good price read more

i came back from vacation at 7 pm to a 102 degree house a couple days ago. it was sweltering heat in my usually 74 degree home! it was so bad that i stayed in a hotel that night. the next morning i made an appointment with comfort experts. they told me they only had a 3 pm appointment available. i took it and 20 minutes later they called to come earlier at 10 am. of course i took it, i needed to be rescued!! conor called and i told him im still at the hotel and he said dont worry i will get started by looking at the unit on the roof. when i arrived he already knew what was wrong, quoted me an excellent rate, and started right away. conor seriously was a god send that fixed our house that was miserably hot as hell!! i highly recommend comfort experts. read more

Outstanding service! you cannot go wrong with Comfort Experts! Yesterday it hit 116 degrees in Phoenix and our air conditioner stopped working suddenly. Early on Saturday morning my wife called Comfort Experts to diagnose the issues. Ryan, the owner, responded literally within two minutes and mentioned that he could be at our house shortly thereafter, which occurred as he said. Ryan and an employee took only about 5 minutes in our house to identify that wiring cables in our attic had caught fire, which could have been extremely dangerous. Ryan had all equipment on hand to replace the cables and a battery contained with the main unit. All-in-all, truly remarkable work and a definite 5 star rating. It was a Saturday, Ryan responded immediately, and, fixed a potentially dangerous issue within minutes. Normally you might have to wait hours just for a technician to show up. Luckily, we have befriended Comfort Experts and will use them forever. read more

We hired comfort experts a year ago for a brand new air conditioning and heating system. I got free quotes from multiple companies in the valley and comfort experts by far had the best unit/brand available for the best price. On top of that, the gentleman who provided me with the quote was friendly, knowledgeable and explained the entire process to me in depth. The technicians the day of install were efficient, super focused and friendly as well. It was a great experience overall. Thank you, comfort experts! read more

UPDATE: used this company a second time for my heater and they were still just as great! Thankful to have found them! I messaged Ryan at 9 pm because my AC wasn't working on my rental house and he came out the next morning at 7:30 on a holiday. He was not only efficient and transparent about my problem and the possible solutions, but he was also extremely friendly and kind. I will definitely be using his company if I have a problem again and referring him to anyone who has problems with their AC or heater! read more

I just have to say that Ryan and his crew were fantastic. Ryan came out on a weekend when my ancient A/C died, and diagnosed the problem. We did need the unit replaced, but he got the old one going enough to keep the temp somewhat down until the install date. There were no attempts to up-sell and we were given a great price for the work done. His crew was fantastic installing the new unit. The had a long day and worked hard the entire time. The guys were friendly and polite the entire time they were in my home. I would recommend Comfort Express to anyone for your desert air conditioning needs. They are a fantastic company! read more

When our upstairs AC stopped cooling, we called Comfort Experts. Ryan was easy to work with, personable, and professional. He explained to us that our unit was very old & leaking refrigerant, and since the old R-22 units are no longer being manufactured, our best option would be to replace it with a new unit which uses the R-410A refrigerant. Ryan was patient as we had to reschedule a couple of times (long story, but we were trying to get our home warranty to help cover the cost of a new unit, which didn't really work out). One thing we liked about Comfort Experts is that they offered to match the price of any competitor who bid lower for the same job. We will use these guys for all of our future air conditioning needs! read more

Made an appointment to have my a/c checked after having some issues, used them last year and was very pleased with the service. I need to changed my central A/C and call Comfort Experts. First, the lady with a very French accent wasn't nice at all so I call back and a very nice woman took my coordinates and said that I was going to receive an email with the name of the person that will come to see my condo unit. Indeed, I received the email and the appointed person got in touch with me and we scedule an appointment. He came and said that he did not need to go check on my roof because they do a lot of similar job in Montreal. He was nice and friendly. He said I was going to receive a quotation before the end of the day, that was Wednesday April 6th and only today, Saturday April 9th at 3:19 pm, I received an email stating that after checking with their installation department, they will not be able to help me with my need to replace my old central A/C. That is disappointing and a waste of time. I wanted to check if they had any bad review because that never happen to me. I wonder if the owner would agree with this situation because according to many reviews, he seems to be a very nice hard working person. Mrs Martin read more

This was my second annual AC tune up with Comfort Experts. They were very responsive by Yelp messaging, provided a competitive rate, and multiple appointment options. The tech, Jeremy, called me 20 minutes before his arrival (which was well within the 3-hour appointment window). I also received a text from Comfort Experts saying the tech was heading my way. Jeremy arrived and offered to wear PPE for COVID. He was very personable, positive, and cleaned up after himself. He took the time to explain my system was operating properly and had a couple recommendations. Jeremy showed me pictures of the concerns, explained all the pricing, and did not exert any pressure to purchase. The final invoice contained a lot of details and clear pricing. The tech last year was also very personable and professional. Jeremy was a great reflection on Comfort Experts. read more

Comfort Experts stands by their products and service. Following several years following installation and consecutive years of annual service we ran into our first issue and Comfort Experts were quick to send technicians to diagnose and then repair - we were just on the cusp of warranty expiration and they honored accordingly. (The owner has now edited his response since he has seen that we have in fact used their company) My husband made the appointment under his name. My full last name isn't even posted here. Did you just look up "F" as a last name? It is ignorant to assume that I spend my time creating negative reviews. You're response should be more professional instead of hostile. My review is 100% accurate and I still have the actual quote. I will be posting that now that you have wildly questioned the validity instead of professionally approaching my honest review. And, no I am not one of the many AC competitors that are located within Gilbert if that is what you are insinuating. I have no idea what you are specifically referring about in regard to the second paragraph of your response (which has been entirely removed now) Plainly put, your business quoted me a higher amount than your competitor. That is not my problem. read more
