a receipt for a pizza order

comella's has the best pizza! i always get their cheese pizza. everything on their menu is very affordable and they have plenty of options. it's perfect for family get togethers and pizza parties! i generally place orders to pick up and they are always made on time. the staff are super friendly and the check out process is quick. there's only a table or two inside the restaurant and it's pretty small. if you subscribe to their emails they send out coupons pretty often! overall rating: 10/10

This is one teeny-tiny restaurant. Within the few dozen times I've traveled along this stretch of Route 16, I've never even noticed there was a Comella's here, and even today, I almost drove right by it. Such a tiny little space that is only able to accommodate a few tables and very little else. Even so, I'd rather have they stay small and for the prices to stay as low as they are, because in the current state, Comella's has the best food around for such affordable prices. Even though the prices did rise a year or so ago, going from $5 to $5.99 for a large pizza is still lower than everywhere else around. Staff here and friendly and prompt. I made an order after visiting the Whole Foods down the street and my order was ready in less than ten minutes from the call, even though she had said it would be fifteen. Quality throughout their large menu including pizzas, calzones, hot / cold sandwiches, "family messes", pastas, raviolis, entrees and more is top notch and filling for any meal. Parking here isn't great, with only a few on street spots, but if you can't find one, parking in the Walgreens lot is fine (sort of...). Service here is accurate and quick. My kind of place. 4 stars for the Wellesley Comella's. It may be smaller than Needham and Westwood, but it's still fills the purpose.

This is the Mini Cannoli (couldn't resist taking a bite first lol)

Good Italian food in a cozy location. Pro-tip: get takeout. There are only 6 or 7 tables if I remember correctly.

""Meet me at the deli, meet me at the bar."…read more(The Strokes) Gianni's is a family-owned deli and pizzeria on Highland Street in the heart of Needham's busy Central Business District. They don't occupy a particularly large space -it's dominated by an ordering station with a big menu board over it, and a small showcase for their highly rated pizzas. Why "highly rated"? Well, they scored a 7.9 rating on Barstool sports, just a scant .1 of a point from their 8.0's description of "exceptional and rare". But we weren't there for pizza, we wanted to pick up some subs for a few lunches on our weekend trip. They have 14 "cold" and 10 "hot" sandwiches, and the pricing structure really makes you a fool if you don't go big. Our Italian and Ham and Cheese subs were prices at $11.99 for small and $12.99 for a large, so you tell me what choice you would make? My large Italian sub easily provided a satisfying half for Friday lunch and a second half for Saturday lunch. It was an excellent sandwich with plenty of meat on a pillowy soft sesame breaded sub roll with lettuce, tomato, onions and vinegar, Have I had subs with more meat? Of course I have. But have I paid around $20 for comparably sized subs? Of course I have. So, was I happy for Gianni's value, considering quality, quantity, and price? One thousand percent YES. Service was friendly and we enjoyed our visit very much. Of Note Their parking lot is tiny, so it would be challenging to negotiate on a perfect weather day. It was a snowy mess when we visited, and the mounds of snow and sardine-like jam-up of cars made the lot a hard pass for us. We ended up parking in the big lot across the street, behind Blue On Highland and walked over.

This place is kind of small and I ordered a large pizza with peppers and onions and half sausage over the phone before I arrived. When I arrived was around noon and maybe there was a couple of customers in it. The people behind the counter were very nice and friendly. While I wanted for my pie more and more people came, many for sandwiches. I watched them make the sandwiches and the Italian bread they were using looked really good. By the time my pie came out the place was filled with people and the worker I chatted with was very busy. In any event I took the pie home. To make a long story short , my ride was about 20 minutes, so the pie got a little steamed from its own heat in my pizza bag. That aside it reminded me a lot of the pizza I had in NJ throughout my life. This is really different from most of the pizza I have tried in Massachusetts over the last couple of years. It wasn't a bar pie or Greek Style and was similar to what you would find in NY metro. I enjoyed it and will return. It was tasty, and not overly salty which seems to be the standard these days.

(Peter Toash) The Pressed Café has eleven locations sprinkled throughout Eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire. We had an excellent lunch experience with a delivery order from their Newton, MA location. We had a Kids Cheese Quesadilla ($8), a Single Pressed Hamburger ($7.75), a Bacon, Egg and Cheese Bagel ($8), a Coconut Curry Bowl ($14), and an Egg White Breakfast Burrito. My Coconut Curry Bowl was great, and pretty close to anything I get at a Thai restaurant. The bowl was loaded with Roasted Carrots, Broccoli, Zucchini, Summer Squash, Red and Green Peppers, Grilled Onions, Pineapple, Spicy Fresno Chili, Cilantro, Lime, House-Made Spicy Coconut Curry Sauce and was served with a side of White Rice and a whole grain pita bread. I added in a rock-bottom $1 surcharge for some grilled chicken cubes. It was a big portion and half of it went in the fridge for the next day. The Pressed Café's menu is very deep with Daily Specials Burgers and Chicken sandwiches, Coffees Smoothies, Raw Juice & Tonics, Acai Bowls, Breakfast All Day(!), Salads & Soup, Kids Meals, Paninis, Signature Bowls, a Vegan Menu, and plenty more. We were very satisfied with our food, value, and portions.

Santoro's has deep roots in Roslindale Square, originally founded by Vincenzo and Agostina Santoro and beloved for decades for their Sicilian pizza, fresh-baked scali bread, and classic Italian pastries. Today, their daughter Tina Santoro Asmar carries that legacy forward with pride--and has taken it to another level. The care, tradition, and family ownership are felt the moment you walk in. The sandwiches are simply unmatched. Hands down, the best Italian deli sandwiches I've ever had--better than anything I've eaten in Philadelphia, New York City, or Boston (all places I've lived). Everything starts with bread baked fresh daily and top-quality ingredients. Our favorites are: The Agostina Sr. - Boar's Head provolone, sweet & spicy capicola, Genoa salami, mortadella, prosciutto, sun-dried tomato spread, roasted red peppers, onion, tomato, fresh basil, and olive oil The Grayson - Oven Gold turkey, cranberry sauce, homemade stuffing, romaine, and mayo You can taste the pride and attention to detail in every bite. Catering is where Santoro's truly shines and we always call the day beforehand. We regularly order trays for our own family and for friends returning home from the hospital, and the feedback is always the same--everyone raves. Standout catering dishes include: Chicken Parmigiana, Stuffed shells & stuffed manicotti, Lasagna, Ziti with meatballs, Chicken, broccoli & ziti, Eggplant Parmigiana (a favorite with our vegetarian friends), and Caesar salad We always order extra meatballs and extra Nona Carmela's marinara--and it never goes to waste. The garlic bread is also a must: fresh scali bread loaded with garlic, butter, Parmesan, mozzarella, and baked until perfectly bubbly. The desserts are excellent (especially the cannoli), and they thoughtfully package them separately from hot food--small touches that show how much they care. Add in super friendly staff, fair prices, and consistently fresh ingredients, and Santoro's becomes the kind of place you rely on again and again--for everyday meals, family gatherings, and moments when food really matters. A true family-owned Italian gem with incredible sandwiches and catering you can trust. Highly recommended.
