Never have I ever experienced such rude behavior in a cafe. Even in France, where they are known to not love the American people. On top of that, my coffee wasn't amazing. I don't think this place necessarily deserves a full review, but I will say that next time I find myself in Needham, I will not find myself at French Press.

I forgot to grab photos but we ordered the Avocado Special (turkey, bacon, cheddar, avocado, lettuce, tomato, chipotle mayo on baguettine); the Linden Special (mortadella, salami, prosciutto, provolone, tomato, marinated sweet vinegar peppers and oil on white bread); and the Thanksgiving (turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mayo, no lettuce on a sub roll). We also grabbed some potato salad and pasta salad from the refrigerator case - both were excellent. I always worry about the potatoes being undercooked in deli potato salad, but these were perfect. I had my eye on some stools at the counter, but the weather was too glorious to sit inside so we snagged one of a handful of picnic tables adjacent to the parking lot. I hope we find ourselves back in Wellesley so we can eat here again.

They have 14 "cold" and 10 "hot" sandwiches, and the pricing structure really makes you a fool if you don't go big. Our Italian and Ham and Cheese subs were prices at $11.99 for small and $12.99 for a large, so you tell me what choice you would make? My large Italian sub easily provided a satisfying half for Friday lunch and a second half for Saturday lunch. To make a long story short , my ride was about 20 minutes, so the pie got a little steamed from its own heat in my pizza bag. That aside it reminded me a lot of the pizza I had in NJ throughout my life. This is really different from most of the pizza I have tried in Massachusetts over the last couple of years. It wasn't a bar pie or Greek Style and was similar to what you would find in NY metro. I enjoyed it and will return. It was tasty, and not overly salty which seems to be the standard these days.
