I tried for over a month to get Comcast installed in my house. The problem. The in house install operation does not work with the line bury operation. After 12 emails, 22 texts with supposed service people, multiple calls with sales people and service group they still could not get it right. I had 3 appointments to install and 3 times the tech arrived and could not install because the cable bury work was not done. I was promised on 3 different occasions it was all coordinated when it wasn't. Now get this. At one point I was on a chat with an "assistant ". I gave them a very long history of this insane process and how frustrating it was. The assistant apologized and said " we will get it taken care of". And then the "assistant" next asked me "who is your current phone provider?" After all the issues I raised they tried to up sell me on phone service! Yep! Can you imagine? Today was last straw. Promised cable bury and house install would happen today. Tech came, no bury crew! Was hoping to get faster internet but not at this price. We are staying with Direct TV. Absolutely ridiculous! Comcast. You need to seriously look at your install protocols. read more

This might be the worst company that I have ever dealt with. The issues start with the call in support where it takes a seemingly impossible combination of hitting 0 or talking over the robot with "Representative" to get to an agent versus the useless robot support. The next issue is their physical service. The installer did a sloppy job of putting our lines in. The inside-technician was clueless and had to call his own support. They also did a bait and switch on the pricing which is why I ultimately cancelled. After cancelling their service, instead of crediting my credit card for the $50 initiation fee, they gave me a $50 credit (to be used in 30 days). I ended up disputing the charge with my credit card company. STAY AWAY from these clowns if you can. read more

I've had Comcast for years and seldom have had problems, but I do now and am getting terrible service. Landscaper cut the outside cable line on April 30. I called Comcast Xfinity and they sent someone on Saturday, May 1 to fix it. Although they came and reconnected the cable, my internet turns on and off repeatedly. I've called Comcast daily and they keep performing diagnostics remotely, have me shut everything off and unplug everything, then turn it back on but internet still keeps turning on and off. The customer service agent then tells me I will receive a phone call from dispatch within 24 hours as to when a service person will come, but no one ever calls me. I then call and start the whole thing all over again. I pay $250 a month for this kind of service? read more

COMCAST SUCKS!!!!!! Today from 3 pm to 11pm they went down 5 times. Yesterday they went down 5-6 times. Everyday they go down and you have to restart your computer. COMCAST SUCKS - COMCAST SUCKS - COMCAST SUCKS. They can't keep their servers on line, Yes it's only for a brief few seconds but it's enough time that you have to restart your PC. I feel for people that have to work from home on this antiquated system. And they don't care. Why should they when they are the only company, Can you say Monopoly - Communism. If you are thinking of moving here and really need a good internet service you might reconsider. Comcast sucks. They charge a arm and a leg yet they are incompetent. read more

I contacted Comcast on June 2nd to get a replacement TV box. Went through the process and was told I would receive it in 3-5 days. Did not get it, so I called again and they made me go through the process again said 3-5 days still no box. I called a third time and was promised I would receive it this time still no box. I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor or manager and was told one would call me back guess what no one called me. I still have no replacement box but they had no problem adding it to my bill. I am now looking to research services elsewhere. Thanks for your crummy service. It's now July 4th. read more

I have never been so disappointed in a business that considers me a "valued customer". I have been with them for years for cable and internet, and pay my bills on time. I requested for my cell number to be transferred from another company last month to my xfinity cell phone. Not only did they "accidentally" disconnect their own phone bought by me, they lost a phone number I had for 10 years and it cannot be retrieved. After calling multiple times a day for a week and a half, a young man at the Xfinity store was able to get the phone working again (after him being on the phone with xfinity customer service for over an hour) under the new number that was assigned by them. Today my bill came. After promising me refunds, credits, and "making it right", my cable and internet bill jumped $127 dollars more!... and my mobile bill jumped $17 dollars more! Are you kidding me?! They owe me money for not being able to use this service and they are charging me more? I am told that my contract is up and that is why it is more. I explained that I talked with people multiple times a day last month concerning my account and no one said "Valued Customer, your contract is almost up and now would be a great time to discuss other promotions you may be eligible for!" Not once. Also, I am eligible to receive $30 off the internet every month. After multiple calls, they refused to spell my last name correctly so I could get the discount after promising to do so. So basically, I pay my bills on time just to be lied to about switching phone numbers, being "accidentally" disconnected (for days), not getting the refunds and credits, and I can expect to see hundred dollar jumps without the smallest warning. I requested my service be cancelled tomorrow. I am done with Xfinity. BTW... This is not a "duplicate" email. My significant other and I feel exactly the same, except I wish that I could leave 0 stars. read more
