I have purchased various items over the past 20 years from David and his team of professionals. This includes televisions, stereo components, DVR's, indoor and outdoor speakers, wireless iPod docking stations to integrate with my home's surround system, amongst other things. They are extremely knowledgeable on the products that they carry and run an honest business practice. You can always find something on the internet for less, and we all do that. But go ahead and buy something and find out what kind of support you get. People go in person to stores like this, pick out what they like, and go home and research it and order it on the Internet. What's missing? Service and knowledge. That's fine and dandy on many things, but on items like higher end electronics, you want the relationship with a store that strives for customer service and satisfaction. I have been a repeat customer many times through the years since this store opened, and have referred The Little Guys to many of my friends who have also been happy. Even though I did not buy the equipment from innovative concepts they had no hesitation about hooking up my speakers. Within 30 minutes(probably less) Calvin called and asked questions and his demeanor was calm and reassuring. The Chicago Can't Do is not in the vocabulary with Calvin. He came in and hooked up my speakers and 2 subwoofers and calibrated them. He knows what he's doing. He had to go to Walmart and get a wire for one of the amps. He did so with no complaints. Then we tested the speakers. The sound quality was amazing. Of course watching movies was the main purpose for the new receiver and speakers. I had to try out music. I cued up Love to Love You by Donna Summers. Calvin tweeked my receiver to play stereo when playing music. This was like being in a club with a great sound system. The sound quality was absolutely amazing for an Apple Music song. The price was reasonable. And the service excellent. Calvin recommended getting a 2 channel amp to maximize my systems capabilities. This saved me 1500 dollars because he was praising the virtues of Marantz receivers and I was ready to buy in my next pay check. Then he thought about it and recommended the 2 channel amp even though I had been willing to buy the expensive receiver. This shows that Calvin and his company are trustworthy.

Adam and his partner were punctual, thorough, friendly, and really went above any beyond (e.g. - they proactively replaced our outdoor outlet cover, which apparently wasn't to code) to provide us with the best customer service. Adam was also extremely responsive to all of our communications, and he even came back for a follow-up visit when we were having some issues with our WiFi network connectivity. It did take some time getting all of the equipment & parts needed, so if you are looking to put in a system for a particular event, I would plan well-in advance. However, we were kept informed. The basement is not entirely finished because it is used mostly by my teenage kiddos & their friends, but we did want an outstanding entertainment system for them to watch movies & play games. We opted for a projector & screen. We also wanted to integrate the Philips Hue system for a backlighting on the screen that coordinates with the picture. He & his colleagues built speaker boxes for us & the frame behind the screen upon which the lighting strip would rest. It came out amazing! They did an outstanding job. One year later, and all is still running smoothly. I have not had to reach back out to them for anything so far, but I was left with a strong impression that if we needed help with anything we would just be able to call.
