I have been here in the past, but recently saw they had updated their menu and wanted to give them another try. We were seated fairly quickly as it was before 5. Our waitress was very friendly and on top of things throughout. However, neither my husband or I liked our food, especially at the price point. He ordered a burger, fries and a salad. I ordered the peri peri fried chicken sandwich. I imagined that there was some spicy peri peri and then some sweet slaw to compensate and balance, but it arrived with so much peri peri sauce on it the bun was drenched and the sauce was too overpowering. I ended up throwing away half the bun. The chicken itself was great and cooked perfectly. I could see myself ordering this again but asking for only a small amount of the peri peri. I also ordered a different side than fries and was told there was an upcharge. I expected a couple bucks, but it was an extra $10 for the upgrade. Come on! Most places charge less than that for an additional side dish, let alone for a switch. So my husband and I both were charged an extra $10, me for my upgrade and he for his side salad. This made our bill ridiculous for our enjoyment of the food. I know prices have gone up everywhere, but there are plenty of other upscale places around where I can get better food for less.
What a delightful surprise! After arriving at Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT), we decided to stop by Colton's Social House for a late night nosh before heading to the nearby Holiday Inn Express for the night and driving back to Bakersfield the following morning. As someone who follows mostly a plant-based diet, I was overjoyed to discover such tasty options. The Date Night Brussels Sprouts were absolutely amazing; roasted to perfection with a crispy exterior and tender interior, coated in a sweet-savory glaze that had just the right balance of flavor and texture. They were so delicious that I couldn't get them out of my mind! The plant-based dumplings were just as scrumptious, and we even savored the leftovers for breakfast at the hotel the next day. The restaurant boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere, the service was top-notch, and the location is incredibly convenient, only a short drive from the airport to our hotel. We will certainly make Colton's Social House a regular stop whenever we fly into FAT. With no Delta Sky Club and limited plant-based dining options at the airport, this is the ideal first (or last) stop. Highly recommend!
Right away you are greeted and seated. I love the phrase they use ( I can't remember it but it goes with their name ). We sat by the bar area. The ambiance was good music and games showing on the screen. The burgers we ordered were very good. I got a chicken one and it was huge! The wings were more on a sweet side. My drinks was strong but sweet too ( I loved it and wish I knew its name! ).
I absolutely loved this restaurant. It has very casual dining vibes, and we sat outside and had such an amazing time full of laughter, good food, and great conversation. I ordered the Dr. BBQ Burger, and it was SO good. The burger itself was cooked perfectly, and the mac & cheese on the side was incredibly creamy and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The real standout for me, though, was the garlic parmesan fries. They were absolutely to die for, and the dipping sauce they come with was so delicious. I would 10 out of 10 recommend upgrading to the garlic parmesan fries instead of getting the regular fries. We also shared the brownie dessert, which was rich, creamy, and so good. The olive oil topping added such a unique touch and really elevated the dessert. Our server, Amber, was amazing and incredibly sweet throughout the entire meal. Overall, this was a 10 out of 10 experience, and I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a fun, casual meal with really great food.
If you're in the Clovis Area, you're going to have to come here. They live up to their name: Best all-around restaurant. This is one of those restaurants where you come back because 1) the quality of the food 2) the service/vibes 3) the cravings you'll have after coming here. It was our first time here and Travis was our waiter. SO KIND! Can we just applaud for the service? They are amazing. Bartenders attend to you right away at the bar and greeters greet you right away. If there's a wait, it's totally worth it. Come for the experience and ask for Travis as your waiter. He genuinely was a delight. Thank you and we plan to share our experience with friends who come to town.
Been here twice now, and I definitely think it's a good spot to be, especially late-night! They are open late, which is a plus for my friends and I since we are either working during the day and/or at night and usually cannot meet for dinner until after 8PM. Not to mention, the food portions are very good - I definitely either leave full or with leftovers. Even the nacho appetizer is huge and can definitely feed 2 people. The service is always great too, and I love that you can split the bill multiple ways for multiple people. For instance, we split the bill by item for two people, but then two other people in our party shared some items, so they were able to split those items 50/50, which I've never seen before. I also really appreciate that we went one night, and the server told us to stay as long as we want to chat, and we really did - and they did not try to kick us out. Loved that! The vibes are good, the food is good - just a generally good place to be.
Came in on a Saturday shortly after lunch, expecting a bit of a wait, but was pleasantly surprised when we were seated right away. I ordered The Smash with the patty cooked medium, and it was done perfectly. The bun was rich and buttery, the guacamole was well-seasoned, the provolone melted beautifully, and the bacon had the perfect crisp. All of the fresh veggie toppings really brought everything together. The fries with Colton's sauce are also worth mentioning--they were absolutely delicious. The restaurant has an upscale gastropub vibe with a great ambiance. We sat indoors, but the outdoor seating looked just as inviting. Everything felt very well put together, clean, and well maintained--even the restrooms stood out in that regard. There's also plenty of parking since it's located within a complex, which is always a plus. Our server, Ky, was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and spot-on with recommendations. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'm definitely looking forward to coming back.
This was the second time I've been here. Was here pre-COVID and experience then was less than stellar. Not much has changed. We got seated in the bar which wasn't horrible until I realized I was seated in the worst seat in the place with no way to block the rays of sun directly in my eyes. No offer to move us and was told it will only be for 15 minutes or so... nope. We ordered a flank steak sandwich to split. It was good, as well as the beer battered fries. The Oaxacan Old Fashioned was just OK. Won't be coming back soon.
Came here for dinner on a Sunday. We were seated quickly and ordered drinks and nachos which were tasty and a large amount. We got the Cobb salad and Reuben sandwich. The salad was huge and was very good. The sandwich was fine with a nice smoky flavor. The fries were good too. We sat outside which had a laidback ambiance. Service was quick and friendly. Reasonable prices. Located near the Sierra Vista mall with plenty of parking.
This place is definitely a bit more upscale compared to Applebees. The modern decor with the Blue Led lighting made this for a great dinner with some friend in town. I gotta also mention, the service was great and tentative. Our server was great, always seeing to it that we are doing well, if we needed more drinks or anything else. The food was also great, every dish looked and tasted great. The Steak was cooked perfectly just the way I like it, medium rare. Definitely recommend with friends or for a date, night out with the love or loved ones we well.
Oh my goodness the food was great, the drinks were amazing, and my husband loved his burger! We loved the appetizers, dumplings and he loved the jalapeño poppers. I'm off alcohol right now and, I had the I'm just Ken and not only was it beautiful it was delicious. I had a black bean burger on a pretzel bun and what can I say it was a black bean burger. I swear I've had that exact one at another restaurant and I can't remember where, Tahoe perhaps... Anyway go and have a drink and have some yummy food. The service was great, the atmosphere was cute and they have sports on TV if you like the sports like my husband! Go teams!

We came here for the first time a couple months ago. We sat on the patio, as it's more quiet than in the restaurant. Service was slow & spotty due to it being VERY crowded. I ordered their Portabella mushroom burger. I was HOPING that it would be as tasty as the one I recently had elsewhere ( as in, the Wawona ). Honestly, it was SO-HUGE that it was not enjoyable to eat. . . It went here, it went there, it went all over the plate, and a challenge to tackle. I must've gone through about 10 napkins trying to eat it. What a mess! It WOULD have been worth it, if it tasted half as good as ones I've had elsewhere. But, alas. . . it didn't. If I could give this review another star I would! This was one of the best restaurant service/ atmospheres I've ever experienced! The food was beyond impeccable and the service was very timely. But most importantly the staff was incredible! Savannah was my server and she made me feel like we had been friends for years, if you go there ask for her and you will not be disappointed! The other staff treated me as if I was a good friend as well! I definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to eat bomb food, get it fast, enjoy a good game on the tv, drink amazing drinks, talk to people that make you feel like family, and just have an amazing time! read more

Colton's, especially the outdoor seating area, is gorgeous at night! We came on a day with a nice summer breeze, so opted to sit outside this time. The tables used to be so close together, but this time they were more spaced out! I really appreciate having a little more personal space especially with the tables of two. Menus were just pieces of paper held together by a clipboard so they weren't super sanitary. Our server Nick was so friendly and optimistic! Not only was he very attentive to list my allergies when taking my order, but he came and checked up on us often during our visit. Service itself was a solid 5/5! Now for the food: Nachos (4/5): Great nachos! Our server did request the avocado dressing on the side because I was allergic, but the kitchen didn't comply to the request. Totally okay-- I didn't want to bother them to remake so I ended up just eating around it. The nachos themselves are filling and have a good amount of toppings. Meat came in big chunks. Would've been nice if the meat + toppings were a little more spread out (like layered)! Therapy Burger (5/5): My boyfriend loves this burger; It's packed with pulled pork, a patty, mac, and sauces. The fries on the side were also great! I stole many of them. Adult Mac (3.5/5): The online menu says the price of adding a meat, but the paper menu they give you doesn't-- so ask! Regular chicken/beef is $8 but I got *crispy* chicken for $7. I'm not sure about shrimp or the other types of meat. For the price, I do think the cutlet was a little small. Also, they weren't lying when they said crispy chicken! I did think it was a bit thin and a liiiitle too crispy! As for the Mac, it was better than I remember! The portion size was smaller than I'd hoped, but at the end of the night I still left full. The Mac was also covered in breadcrumbs which is an absolute plus! Overall such a great experience! The excellent service, aesthetically pleasing dining area, and good food make me want come to Colton's way more often. read more
(Read in Jay-Z voice) If you have small kids, I feel bad for you son, but come to Colton's social house and dem kids will have fun. Yes, that completely lame first sentence is true, this is a great place to bring your kids. They have a huge outdoor patio where they can run around and the place is already insanely loud both inside and out. We sat inside, and I ordered the firehouse burger in an old-fashioned cocktail on the side. The burger was pretty good. Definitely had the heat I was looking for, but about halfway through it completely fell apart in my hands and I had to eat it with a fork. I think there's just too many ingredients on this, maybe ditch the tomato and lettuce? My wife got the chimichurri sandwich which was very good and had huge chunks of steak. We also got fries both sweet and savory for the table to share. The fries are good and I was feeling the vibe of this place. I really enjoy a restaurant I can bring my children to and not have to worry that they're too loud for the other customers. Colton's has an insane bar program. Their cocktail menu is very deep and I was surprised that they offer a handful of drinks that require egg whites, you fancy, huh? I was surprised because this restaurant feels like one of those massive chain restaurants. Think Dave and Busters, Cheesecake Factory, etc. I haven't been back since this visit, but I feel a happy hour visit coming on very soon. read more

Had to run an errand on this side of town and my wife and I stopped in for a quick dinner and had a great experience. The ambiance is modern industrial with a full bar seating and a lot of tables and space. Our Waitress was honestly top notch and I wish I remembered her name to give her a shout-out. I got the Napa Burger with fries and my wife got the fish and chips both were excellent so we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good food and great service! read more

Consistent delicious food, comfortable booths, tables, and lovely outside patio area with misters! I have visited Colton's Social House numerous times with different groups of people. Every single time has been amazing! Besides the delicious food and drinks, it is also a great option if you have a family! The kid's menu has just about every favorite option a child would love. Even the presentation of food for the kids is a nice touch. I enjoyed the ever delicious Strawberry Fields Salad, kids got the Corn Dog, Flatbread Cheese Pizza, and Chicken Tenders. We also devoured the chips salsa, and fresh guacamole prior to our meal. The decor and ambiance is great! Simple, clean, and I love the beautiful artistic indoor table tops. I always tell my friends and family about my experiences here, and this recent visit was no exception. Though they took down our name and cell #, we got seated immediately. I absolutely love a restaurant where both the kids and parents are super content! I highly recommend this place! read more

This was our second time to Colton's and I decided to try out this second time since we were not really impressed with our first experience. We decided to give another shot and have night out for dinner for my birthday at Colton's Social house on 5/8/25. We were seated a little late because our server Conner had to go on break. We were greeted by Nick who served us while our server Conner was on break. Nick was very pleasant and gave superb customer service. We ordered our drinks and some of our apps from Nick. Nick also told us he would put a note to Conner to bring out a birthday treat. Everything was great! So Conner comes back from her break and comes by to our table and asks my husband and I if we wanted boxes for our food...mind you now we weren't even done with our food or our drinks even. Felt like we were being kicked out. She brings us the box and proceeds to bring the check along with it. Service went downhill after Conner came back from break. No birthday treat or anything from Conner...wasn't much of a surprise...she just wasn't as attentive as Nick. If it wasn't for Nick I wouldn't have tipped. As far as the food the peri peri wings tasted and looked burnt, along with the dumplings while inside of the dumplings were cold....drinks were good though. We visited for brunch and Steve was our server- they were great! My husband got the Craic Stack which is a seasonal item for St Patrick's day. Honestly this is a very shareable menu item that is or probably should be meant as an appetizer. He had plenty to take home! I got the strawberry salad as always because I can never pass it up and of course it did not disappoint. Added grilled chicken for protein and the chicken was seasoned well and juicy. The star of the show for us was the Spinach Artichoke Al Caldo which is a thick creamy spinach artichoke cheese spread topped with a few small dollops of Calabrian chili sauce and Calabrian chili threads, served in a skillet with toasted focaccia slices to use as a vehicle to deliver the tasty goodness straight to your taste buds. It was SO good, I was surprised to see it missing from any Yelp photos/reviews. Our server said it was a newer item. We went to celebrate Mexican Mother's Day. I wants to come to this place for a while now but we were not able to do it until now. Service was great! The waitress was in training and she did very good. The were very attentive and helpful. The ambience is nice! They were busy to be a Wednesday. They have tvs around and good music and not too loud. The food was on the ok side. I wanted to try their veggie burger but there were not available no more. I ask if they had any type of vegetable substitute for the classic burger and they said that they can do the mushroom instead of meat. It came out pretty good it was just that the mushroom was too thin I could not taste it. We order chips and salsa and the chips were stale. I also got me a drink that it was made with rum, champagne, and strawberry with some mint in there. It was pretty good. The burgers were good except the mushroom being too thin. The fries were great. The waiter was friendly and immediately brought everyone to a table. The wait wasn't long and a waiter brought out some waters. I ordered the vegan dumplings and they were absolutely delicious!! They were crispy and the sauce was so savory, it paired amazing with the tofu veggie filling. My siblings ordered their own food and they claimed that their food was delicious as well. The waiter was very attentive and refilled waters. I just wish there were more dumplings or the prices were cheaper lol. Ok, the waiter was very nice and I had an old fashioned for my cocktail. I felt this was going to be a good experience. Unfortunately, that's not the case. When my salad came out they also brought my steak. I have never seen this before because the salad should come first. Now for the steak. It was scrawny and barely a 1/4 inch thick. I know there is marbling in a ribeye but this one was about 50% fat and still had tendon in it. To top it off, I was charged an up charge for the risotto, salad and the dressing. When I spoke to the manager she offered me a discount, which I just declined. I'm wondering if they judge their customers based on how they look. I've cooked in many fine dining establishments and this one isn't it. This place is highly overrated and I won't be going back. read more

A friend & I met for lunch, the greeter at entrance was very friendly & sat us right away. It wasn't too busy in there yet. We both ordered the French Dip - unfortunately wasn't to either of our liking, just different flavors from what either of us have had. Will give them a try sometime again.
