I have been coming here for years now and I hate to have to go anywhere else. I get gel manicures which always last two weeks or more. Trin is very talented with all different new nail designs. The salon is large and super clean. They also cater to bridal parties/ larger groups. The pedicure area is very nice and they also do a great job here. I've also been many times to Ann and Mindy who do a great job with gel as well. Ann is my personal fav for a pedicure she takes her time They can be a bit more pricey than other salons but it is worth the money. read more

Came to Colours for the first time last weekend as part of a bridal party. We had reservations beginning at 9am for mani/pedis for 7 of us. Myself and another guest arrived a few minutes before 9, the rest a few minutes after 9. The staff was adamant on getting us to our chairs promptly, not even giving me time to really say hello to the bride when she walked in! This attitude didn't give me a great first impression - I understand the timetable, but you have to expect a little leeway with this large a group there to celebrate the start of a wedding weekend! The pedicure was fine - nothing out of the ordinary, maybe a little basic for $30. My nails did come out nicely, although ended up being $45 because I got a gel french w/ a small detail added (a bit expensive). The staff ended up warming up towards the end of the day but initial impression was not great - may be good for everyday nails, but special occasions you may want to look elsewhere! read more

I got my nails done here on Saturday. I do have to say the place is clean and had plenty of staff to get me in last minute on a Saturday. Unfortunately I wasn't happy with my nails when I got home. I usually don't complain and I just go elsewhere but I sent an email explaining what happened. Linda promptly called and emailed me back. She offered for me to come back in. I felt a little nervous but I'm so glad I went back. Manila fixed the problem at no charge. Just the tip. She wasn't the one who did them originally. I love them. I tried the dipping powder. They look very natural and shiny. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the price was a little high, but I've noticed in the past few years prices are going up everywhere. I know it's a little weird when a man shows up for a pedicure with a shop full of women, but the same level of service should be expected. Let's get over ourselves. This isn't my usual nail salon, but a friend of mine was in from out of town and it was close to where she was staying. I will say the place was very clean. But I kid you not, my pedicure lasted 10-15 minutes at most. My cuticles weren't cut, and the dead skin wasn't scrubbed off of my feet. What would be the point of me getting a pedicure? Especially for the price they charge. I came home and cut my own cuticles and used my ped egg to take the dead skin off of my feet. I have gone to Colours a couple of times and have always been treated in a rude, unfriendly manner. I always excused the behavior because it was so close to my house and I want to support local business. Today was the last straw however. I went in to do my eyebrows and was happy to see the girl I usually see. She however, handed me off to a different person while she and another girl talked about how "cheap" another customer was (no lie). I trusted my new eyebrow specialist would do a good job and told her to just do a clean up. What a mistake. I walked out with one eyebrow PENCIL thin and a different shape than my other one. I complained that I was not happy and the girl that usually does my eyebrows tried to tell me it's cause she pencils them in- she doesn't usually. They still charged me full price, did not apologize or even try to make me happier. She did say to come back and she'll "reshape" them, meaning she KNEW they looked wonky. The worst part was that as I was paying the girl that did my eyebrows walked over to another employee and complained about me. I could hear them talking about me and received dirty looks from both of them. This was completely unnecessary, I did not make a scene or overreact, I just paid and walked out. Reign in the attitude ladies. Needless to say, I have given this place so many tries and will never go back. read more

First of all, their hours are incorrect. They are open until 8 PM during the week, which was a great surprise because my sister and I were rushing to get there for 7 (we thought they closed at 7:30 PM). We tell the receptionist we want 1 gel manicure and 1 pedicure, you think this would be easy right? She asked one worker, who was just playing on her phone if she could take the manicure and she says, "What am I, Superwoman?" No, you are just at work and are required to actually WORK! So then we are told they can't take us today because everyone is busy and she isn't sure when they will be done. Isn't that your job? I'll NEVER come here again. I have been going to this salon for the past few years and usually have had a good experience until recently. It seems in recent times the salon has more of a factory- like atmosphere than a spa- like one. I'm often rushed to choose a color as soon as I get in. Even though I arrive to my appointment early so I can choose a color, there is often a nail tech there rushing me to make a decision in order to start my nails early. I thought I would get there even earlier today to prevent that- I arrived a half hour early for my appointment. However, I was thrown with someone else for my manicure so that my nails would get done faster and the same thing happened. I then had my pedicure afterwards. Being a hot day, my toe nails were immediately ruined as I went outside and got into the car with AC on. This is why a pedicure should have been done first. My best friend is here from my home town and was in need of a nail fill (us working girls both need to go back to work on Monday) and I have had friends raved about this place. So, we tried it. Yes, it was our first visit to this establishment, so I would think that you would be treated as such, and given information so you can make informed choices. That was not the case. The receptionist was busy, so one of the employees came up to the desk to say to my friend, 'You don't have an appointment. Go wait over there.' The Receptionist, who saw what had happened, called out to my friend and I, now sitting and waiting, 'It will be 15 minutes.' We were 1/2 tempted to go to the nail salon next door, but we liked the look of the place, so we stayed. My friend was called back, greeted by a polite employee. The service my friend received was not what she expected for a file - after the removal of the airbrushing she already had, her nails were only brushed off, and the new filling put on top. Any woman, person, who's had on acrylic nails can tell you how the procedure goes. This was not way nails should be filled. Once the fill was completed, my friend was asked if she wanted nails to be airbrushed again, asking if she wanted French tips. At no time was it told to my friend that this would be for an extra charge. When she was lead to the table to have her new service dried by the fans, the look on her face said it all. It's not a good way to conduct business. We were not made to feel welcomed. I will not be going back. The kicker is, one of their regular customers, been going there for many, many years, recommended this shop to me. I will be returning to a local business in Auburn for myself. read more

My gel manicures and pedicures last for more than 2 weeks and I love the fact that they have so many colors to choose from! For sure, when I first sat down in the pedicure chair, I was impressed with the atmosphere, the comfy massage chair, and the spa liners. Unfortunately, my excitement quickly fizzled. My toe nails were poorly shaped, my feet were barely exfoliated, and the polish not only didn't look great, it also did not last long. Recently, it seems that the technicians are rushing and my pedicures (which usually last at least 2 weeks) have been chipping the same day! Care is taken to ensure client comfort and health with pedicure tub liners, fresh linen and sanitized tools. I find the staff personable and highly skilled. I've been to this salon a few times but today was disappointing. First my appointment was 15 minutes late without apology or mention, after waiting for 20 minutes. In the follow up email, it was just shifted to 11:15 from 11:00. When it was time to pay, the girl at the front desk was on the phone so the technician decided to ring me up. He told me the total was $57 to which I responded that a Dazzle Dry pedicure is $55 as per the website and price list in front of me. He told me that if I paid cash it would be $55 and that the price list, on the counter, was old pricing. As I paid, I explained that the pricing sheet should be updated as it's advertising different pricing than he's charging me. At that point, the girl put her phone call on hold and asked what my question was regarding the pricing. I mentioned the Dazzle Dry pedicure and she told both me and the technician that the price is $55, not $57. He laughed off apologizing and told me I could just put it towards my tip. I really hope this was just a mistake but the responses came off a little rehearsed which worries me enough that I'm going to consider another salon moving forward. I used to love this place but the mani-pedi's I've gotten the last 3 or 4 times have been horrible. I tried to convince myself to try again, telling myself the nail tech just needed more training,etc. Not the case at all! This last visit will be my last. I decided I wanted a nice foot and calf massage so I paid $100 for a hot-stone massage and gel pedicure, in addition to $30 for a manicare. This visit I had a woman named Anne. She was very nice but either very lazy or should not have been the person they gave me for this type of appointment. First she burnt my feet with the scalding water in the foot bath. Then she started with my toenails. She did cut the cuticles but not the extra rough skin on the edges of my small toes. She then applied the gel color. All of that was fine. I thought to myself, this was good, get the color out of the way and go on to the massage. Nope! Lets just say she spent maybe 5 minutes at the most on the hot stone massage. She looked bored and put no effort into it. Then she tried to put these huge stones between each toe and hurt my toes while she tried to force the stones in between. Needless to say, the stones were too big and just fell out. There was NO foot massage at all. She slapped my feet, pretended to rub my feet for a few seconds, then stretched each toe and was done with the massage. Not only did I not receive the massage I paid for, I didn't receive a full pedicure; She did not even attempt to scarpe off the calluses or dead skin from the bottoms of my feet. For a $100 pedicure/massage this was horrible! I guess the $100 I paid for that ridicuous "massage" should have been spent on a real massage at a real spa! The manicure I received was ok but took forever because the polish was not drying and the tech had to do 2 nails over TWICE! I think he was in a rush and was not letting it dry long enough in between. He also did not paint my whole nails; He left a big gap between the polish and my cuticles that he pushed back. 3 strikes your out! This is my 3rd horrible visit of my last 3 visits. They seem to be in too much of a rush and do not care to do nails properly anymore. I do not recommend anyone to go here for their nails. read more

While the people are very nice and the color selection is awesome the quality of nails is unfortunately poor. My gel nails were 28$ (typical price) but lasted as long as a regular manicure. Less than a week later all of the gel on my nails was lifting and peeling in the corners. I loved the color but I'm disappointed that they lifted so fast. They came off without any effort or acetone needed. Although the service was great and the place was very clean I probably wouldn't go back. A 6 day gel manicure just isn't worth it. read more

I got a mani pedi from Colours this past Saturday and I will never go back. The place is very clean and well maintained but the service was the downfall. While receiving a pedicure, the nail specialist cut the skin on my toe instead of a cuticle. It was bleeding quite badly so he decided to seal it with alcohol, acrylic powder and super glue! (much to my discomfort / dismay) He then continued on with the pedicure and painted over the mess. He apologized and I paid the bill and left. Not 10 minutes later the toe opened up again and not only hurt very badly but created quite the mess. I went back and was given a full refund. The manager Linda was very helpful and understanding (she even provided me with antiseptic) but I think I'm all set on returning there for any other services. I went there for a "liquid gel" fill... told to pick out my color... the name of the store is well name... tons of colors... never once was I told that different sections of the store where the colors are kept will cause you to pay different prices... Price was much higher then most places....nails started to lift after a few days...went back in paid another $53.00 to have them done all over.....girl said the ANC nails would last four weeks.
