Last time coming here. I recommended my friends to go here because I had a good experience when they first opened. But now that they got more settled, everything just changed. I'm embarrassed and feel bad that my friends had to go through a bad experience. The receptionist has the worst attitude. And I'm sure others can agree because as you wait there, you can see how she greets other people walking in. The receptionist said KIDS polish change was $18.... (Even tho On the website it says $16). It's not even a manicure, there was no cutting of nails or filing and literally just one polish. The nail tech priced it at $15... but that just made it seem so shady. Everyone pricing it differently but I still can't understand how a kids Polish change is that much. The whole total time of the service was 7-8 minutes. Service was the worst here. Y'all save the trouble and go to the nearby salons. read more

I am very surprised by all the negative reviews and disagree with many of them. The space is spacious, clean, and modern. They seem to have great sanitation policies in place: only the employees touch the polish bottles, the liners for the pedicure soakers are high quality, etc. I did not get the name of my nail professional but she was friendly and congenial. Everyone else was efficient and friendly too. I got a spa pedicure and was very happy with the quality. I love the partitions between the pedicure chairs. I think the ambiance and efficiency of the salon is the high quality I was looking for and is hard to find in many places. I will definitely return even though this place is a bit out of the way for me. read more

I come here often because my mom likes it here. They do a fine job with the manicures and their pedicures are very luxurious. However, I have noticed some troubling things about their sanitation system. It appears that tools are re-used between customers. Nail dremels, cuticle cutting tools, nail files, etc. I always watch to see if things get taken away for sanitation and if it's happening I haven't observed it. Tools seem to live in the drawers and containers at individual stations. For modern manicurists, I expect to see a sealed package or some kind of indication that everything has been sanitized, but I don't see that here. Perhaps it's happening and I don't see it. Viral and fungal infections live in these placed (your finger and toenails) and are highly transmissible. I would love to see this business up their game on this, especially since they do great business and see so many customers. read more

I came for a dip and I am in shock of how horrific my nails and fingers look. There was basically zero effort given in attempting to clean my fingertips or under my nails. I really want to like this place. It's convenient and I've been here a couple of times, each time with a good (or great) nail tech. But honestly, the young woman at the reception desk is SO difficult and it just turns me off every time. I finally got fed up and decided not to make this my regular spot. I could go into detail, but it's not worth it. She's young and arrogant and has no interest in actually being helpful. My boyfriend and I set up an appointment for gel pedicures and a gel manicure for him. When I got there I repeated what services we would be getting and who was getting what. When we got there they said we were all set and called us to start our pedicures. When we got up to go get our pedicures they had no one ready to see us after already telling us that they were ready to see us. We walked up and then they said hold on. Hold on, with no explanation. If I could give zero stars I would. My pedicure felt rushed and the paint was old and clumpy. The lady wouldn't speak to me or make eye contact. After getting home I realized my toes had paint that was never cleaned off my skin and the polish didn't even go over my whole nail in multiple different places. Now onto my finger nails.... I got dip powder and asked for almond shape. She left some of my old red dip on and didn't take the time to fully remove and clean them up before applying the new dip/color. After she finished my nails she had to file them down so much because she made the dip so clumpy that my nail beds were burning. It's very odd they don't cure the dip here either. You get told to wait five minutes... then can leave after they dry. I get my nails done religiously and only dip and this is not how it's done. The shape was uneven one side shorter than the other.. and I could go on. Avoid this place at all costs. For $102 before dip you should be getting better service and quality than this. Only certain people can do designs! My daughter went in with a picture of the simple design. She and I were very disappointed. It looked amateur. A separate person did the design and ruined the perfectly good manicure. We went directly to have it redone elsewhere. I went to colors for dips. Michelle work on my nails. She was rough, she was rude, with a attitude. she kept snatching my hands. She was annoyed that she was still at the salon after 7 PM due to having to remove my previous dips. This was a scheduling problem they should have not taken me for 6 o'clock appointment after I told them I already have old dips on that need to be removed and redone. I was unable to make an appointment as a result of my mother-in law being on hospice and the employer said the owner would not not be in until that thursday to refund my money, i said ok and days went by into the following week with no phone call nor refund by the owner. I called to ask where the refund was given the circumstances that for anyone would cancel a appointment to go say their good byes to a loved one. The owner answered the phone new it was me on the phone and didnt care about my circumstances and said i would not be getting my refund i paid for a pink and white gel fill in advance never got it done because of the circumstances of my mother in law being on hospice and as i work in healthcare and use to get spa pedicures there i will NEVER go to this place again people do good work but owners should care about there customers as that is what makes a business. read more

I absolutely love going to colours it's very clean, receptionists are very polite and accomadating. Most nails techs do an amazing job, they a great selection of colors and can get you an appointment same day, which is huge for me with a daily changing work schedule. I've sent my girlfriends here, my daughter and her friends because I love it so much. I've seen multiple techs mostly because my work schedule made it difficult to book the same tech each week. I've been getting gel manicures on and off for for the last several yrs. I know that certain base coats don't adhere to my nails well and will cause the polish to peel. Opi base works well and I typically never have an issue. Last Monday 9/23 I got a gel mani with someone I havnt had before. She did a great job cleaning cuticles and polish looked great and neat. I noticed the light we were using kept resetting but didnt think much of it until Tuesday. My nails were lifting and starting to peel. I called first thing Wednesday morning, made an appointment to have my nails fixed. Not 1 but 5 of them were starting to lift. They were very prompt at getting me in and had the same tech fix them. Great! Until it wasn't. I felt like I was being blamed, I was told that I was picky, and that it was my nails caused the polish to lift. Hmmmm that's funny because I had no issue with my last mani that lasted almost 2 weeks to the day with zero issues. I wasn't acusing the tech of doing a poor job, I just wanted my nails fixed considering I had them done two days before and they were a mess. I asked that it be removed and done again. I was told she didn't have time for that, mind you I made an appointment. One nail she removed the old polish and redid it, the rest she went over with base coat and touched up the edges with polish. I said I was concerned that they were just going to peel again. The receptionist told me "thats how it's fixed, next time get the dip, the tech took her time with you because we know you're picky." I'm highly disappointed in the treatment I received. I don't think wanting a service that I just sat an hr and paid for should be coming off after 1 day when it should last 2 weeks and I'd like it fixed. That's not being picky it's wanting services I paid for. My guess is the polish didn't set because the light kept shutting off. This could have be resolved if she had just redid them like I asked. Now here we are day 6 and all the nails she touched up are off! read more

I've been to Colours several times and did not have a good experience on 7/27. I spent a lot of money on a gel dip manicure which is already peeling, lifting and chipping. It's lifting very bad at my cuticle area and my hair keeps getting stuck. I've never had a gel dip that hasn't lasted at least 3 weeks. It hasn't even been 2 weeks! I'm so disappointed. See pictures. I'm not sure if perhaps my tech was inexperienced?? She was very sweet and pleasant, but when I went back in to give my gratuity, the woman who took it said, "this is all for her?" I also had a gel polish pedicure, which looks ok but not great. Also, I had red on my toes before my light pink gel polish and you can see the red peeking through a bit, seemingly that she didn't fully take off the red. This place is not good at all and rather expensive for the quality you're getting. Went there twice: once for a regular pedicure, once for a gel manicure. The pedicure was just okay. I was sat in the last chair and lo & behold it was broken. But because my technician had essentially already set up that chair, she seemed peeved at the fact that she might have to move if I requested to do so. I didn't so lucky for her. My gel manicure was again just okay. However, it looked like it had already grown out after a week after she JUST finished them because she didn't paint far enough back. Also, the manicure area is just packed in tight and not relaxing at all. The other thing I'm typically used to is being offered water or soda. That did not happen here. You can pay with card, but you must tip with cash. They get two stars because they have a nice color selection. read more

For a more pricey nail salon I was expecting more from the nail services. I got a gel and while it was being applied , I noticed that the manicurist went quite fast and only applied one coat. Less than 6 days later 3 of the gels have already come off. For 35 dollars I was expecting it to last as long or longer than the less pricey manicures (which lasted longer). I wish I could give this place 10 stars! I went here for the first time for a pedicure after knowing a lot of people I know go here so I decided to try it out. More expensive than other places but it's totally worth it. I did a special spa pedicure and chose the ocean refresh treatment for swollen feet. The employees are friendly and the woman I had was very nice and gentle but also put in deep work when massaging my legs and feet. I wish I could do this every day! I have had Yvonne about six times for an acrylic full set, and have been disappointed every time. I have had to come back multiple times to get a nail repair everytime they are done by her, as either they fall off, she doesn't allow them to sit under the LED light long enough, and she just uses her own nails to push your cuticles down which hurts, and is unsanitary. Everytime she does my nails my cuticles end up bleeding. I've never had this problem with any other employees there, will be specifically asking for anyone BUT Yvonne in the future. read more
