A fun experience for anyone - young, old, kids, aspiring artists or just to have fun. Lots of ceramics to pick front to paint. Paint and then pick up in week after they glaze if for you.

As a crafty girl, this was so therapeutic. I just feel like the cups, plates, etc. are kinda pricey. However, the employees there were so nice and made the experience better. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND booking a reservation (by calling in). You book accordingly to your reservation window timeframe. This is my 2nd time coming here, always a good time! overall: 9/10

What a fun date idea! Yes it is expensive but the experience is pretty calming and overall enjoyable. We made a reservation and basically they give you 2 hours from your reservation time. This means if you end up coming late your time will just be less which isn't too big of a deal if you're a little late. You first walk around and select which type of pottery you want to color. The prices are what you'd pay plus $12 per person for studio fee. Yes it'll easily add to be about $40-$50 per person after everything even if you purchase the cheapest pieces. After choosing the pottery that we wanted, we selected 6 colors that we wanted to paint with. This paint is refillable so don't worry about running out. I ended up painting a monkey coin piggy bank ($22) while my wife painted a bowl ($27). After the two hours were up, we went to the front and paid for the things we got. In total it was $85 dollars, yikes! The weird part is that they ask for tip as well which 18% is the lowest options, pretty steep for something that we majority service ourselves. Overall this was a fun experience if you need something to do with friends or a significant other. Make sure to make reservations because it does fill up. You pickup the items about a week later so hopefully my monkey piggy bank turns out well! Parking - Nearby lots but I like parking at Delacey lot since its $1 for the first 2 hours. UPDATE - They called me 4 days later and I picked up my items the Saturday after. They came out better than I was expecting so that's awesome. Will say pickup took some time because they seemed unorganized and couldn't find my items for about 10-15 minutes. Would recommend maybe calling ahead the day of pickup so they can have it found and ready for you when you arrive.

This is my favorite Color Me Mine that is located around me. The ambiance is relaxing, and the music sets the vibe. The place is dog friendly, mine, Suki, was allowed to sit down with me!! The workers are extremely friendly and always tend to check up on customers frequently. There is a variety of ceramic pieces to choose from and their own water bowls is a ceramic piece itself, which I love! I will be coming back here, worth the 20 min drive :)

Stay away from this place. We visit the other locations on a monthly basis. The only location that charges all people in the party 12$ each for just sitting and watching the kids paint. Outrageously priced each item higher than any location. The kids are so excited so we would only stay this time. Great way of loosing your costumers

This is such a cute activity to do! I came by with my mom for a girls day and though it's on the pricier side depending on your item of choice, it's worth the core memory. They charge $12/pp (includes the painting/cleaning fee) and + $$ for whichever item(s) you choose. They have little paint dishes on the table as well has brushes and pens/sharpie for you to write which number of color you'd like the worker to fill up for you. After they fill it up, you're able to use your creative mind and imagination to decorate as you please. They say it takes about 7-14 days for them you finish glazing your product but it took less than 7 days for my items to be picked up!

i was really disappointed at the service provided here, but had an overall good time otherwise. we didn't have a reservation and did a walk-in for 3 people. it was pretty crowded so we were seated outside. we had almost an hour and a half to pick out an item and paint, which wasn't entirely enough time in my opinion. by the time we chose our item and got our paints, we had about 45 minutes left of our time there so it felt a bit rushed for me. since we were seated outside it was hard to get the workers' attention if we needed extra paint or had questions so we'd have to go in and out of the shop to ask for things, so i found it a little inconvenient. once we were seated, there wasn't really much direction given other than to choose our paint colors. i was hoping they would give us a little guidance and tips on the process. our brushes were also not the best, so it was a little hard to work with. it was ready within a week or so for pick up. some of the colors came out darker than i thought it would've, but i think it still ended up looking decent enough.

Such a cute date spot! Definitely recommend and come here again. The workers were attentive and helpful in explaining the steps. It's so exciting seeing the thing you painted come to life. Pricing depends on what ceramics you pick to paint, but there is also a $10 fee per person. Just to be safe, I recommend making an appointment so you can have a schedule to work around because it can get busy, but not too busy.

    Cup

Avoid this location! They actually charge parents a fee just to be in the studio while their child is painting, which is ridiculous. The Montrose location doesn't do that! On top of the bizarre fees, the ceramic prices are outrageously high compared to other studios. They wanted $24 for just a small cup. We won't be coming back.

    Esther P.

I like this place it's just a bit pricey and they don't call you when your items are ready to be picked up. They charge for the item you're painting plus a fee to paint it of $10 per person. I didn't like that they never called me to pick up my item.

I love this color me mine! I've been coming here since I was a kid and their service has always been great. The workers are so nice even when you go and ask them to keep getting you paint. They have so many options to choose from even when they're out of stock of certain plates or cups. I just love the vibes in here every time I leave I'm always planning the next time I'm coming back because I've never had a bad experience here. Coming here with friends or family has always been a fun time!

Ask the Community - Color Me Mine

Are we allowed to bring wine and snacks?

Do they offer any special or deals during the week?

Can my partner and I collaboratively work on one piece?

How much is the per-person fee on top of the item price?

    $10

How much is it usually to go and paint something there like ball-parking it?

I believe the cheapest item would be around $12 and it goes up on price depending on its size, plus there's an $8/painter fee. So if you get something small to paint it'll be around $20.

Our instructor was super informative and made sure to spend time with everyone in the class, walking us through every step of the process. It was hands-on and beginner-friendly, which made it all the more enjoyable. The only downside is the wait bc our finished bowls took about 6-8 weeks to be ready after shaping them on the wheel. But honestly, it was worth it--they turned out beautifully :')

Unfortunately, it didn't turn out to be a great experience. * No blank pottery to paint - Everything available already had printed designs on it. We were hoping to paint our own plates, cups, or bowls, but there were no plain pieces available. * Very limited selection - The inventory felt small. We were told a party of 20 was coming in, and it seemed like the blank items might have been saved for them. * Unhelpful service - When we asked about options, the staff didn't seem very helpful or friendly. * Pricing - There's a $10 studio fee per painter, and many of the stamped platters were around $42 more, which felt expensive for items that were already pre-designed. Since there was nothing blank to paint, we ended up leaving without doing the activity.
