I wanted to paint just the front end of my '85 911 due to the standard road rash issues. The rest of the original paint was still in good condition. Matching 37 year old paint requires some skill. Color Master Mex was recommended to me by a friend who sells automotive paint to numerous body shops. He told me this was the guy to take it to. I dropped the car off December 1st, 2021, and got it back January 1st. I was blown away by the quality of the job. So much so that I wanted to leave it with him right then to paint the rest of the car. Unfortunately, that's not the way it works. He had other jobs promised for the next 3 months, so I'm waiting til the first of May. The color match was perfect. The new clear coat paint has better depth to it then the original paint, although it is just as shiny. On the recommendation of a friend I used Marcos and Color Masters Mex for a body restoration on my cherished 1991 Miata. I had the body restored (including cutting out rusted rockers and welding in new metal) and the entire car repainted to my specifications, including racing stripes. The great: The paint job is outstanding, drawing praise from everyone who sees the car. The cost was significantly less than competitive quotes. Nobody can tell where the welds are. The less-than-perfect: It took a little longer than expected, and there was one section that needed to be reworked. The convertible top support straps were not properly reinstalled, and one or two fasteners were missing. All of this finicky-detail stuff is very minor and was easily corrected. I'm extremely pleased with the value I received. If you use this business for custom (not insurance) work, I strongly suggest giving a clear, detailed, written description of the work, and visiting once or twice during the process to ensure the details are followed. read more

Was lucky enough to be recommended to this company and although a small family operation, my insurance company corroborated they would be a good choice, after I had to check two other sites for the body work. My meeting with Marcos went well but actual work had to be delayed. When we finally proceeded, Marcos offered his original estimate which was appreciated. 3 days later when I arrived they (family operation) were putting final clean up touches on the vehicle, which looked great. As per his promise the repair work paint coat matched the body perfectly, and he even gave me extra paint for touch-ups in the future on our car. I can't say enough about the professionalism of the entire family, or the quality of the final work. They are all about quality service, and even did some minor adjustments (not part of the deal) on the mirror housing that had come out of place before I dropped it off. Following this service I spoke with the people who initially recommended Marcos and confirmed he was the right choice. I also took some of his cards and posted them as well as passed them on to others in the neighborhood. When you can get great service from a small shop, its best to make sure they stay in the business and are there when you need them. Sounds selfish but works out well for both parties! This is the place to go for high quality auto body work. Marcos Santiago, I believe is the owner, delivers. A young man backed into my car in a parking lot and he stayed by my car and asked everyone if it was theirs. Integrity. When I approached he was so apologetic. He had handicap tags on his truck. Rather than be upset, just did the usual steps (called insurance, exchanged info, etc., calmly). Remembered this auto body shop in Chantilly where people from work have gone. Contacted the place and Marcos answered. After rescheduling three times (needed a ride home), took it there. He saw the damage and quoted $350.00, including paint and labor. Was a bit apprehensive/relunctant, but dropped it off and was exceptionally amazed that the damaged area not only was fixed and painted, blending in with the rest of the car, but was done to perfection. It looks brand-new. I paid everything, myself, and out-of-pocket. Afterwards found out that the young man who did the damage was his father's care-giver for nine years (only learned this when I apologized for not being able to reply to him because of being at the hospital caring for someone). He was super, super appreciative. A guy with humble beginnings who made it into a military academy on his own and was brave and honest to stay by my car and own-up to it. Hopefully his insurance premium won't go up since I called and dropped the claim and paid the repairs, myself. The only drawback to this body repair shop is that he is a one-stall operation and is not close to mass transportation. If you can get to and from the location, without public transportation, I HIGHLY recommend this place! read more
