Details: Envision Imaging is conveniently located on Plano Pkwy near Marsh Lane. Gorgeous and sparkling clean medical office building. I had an MRI and CT Scan this week at Envision Imaging. Nurse was professional, a good communicator, friendly, and cheerful. It is wonderful to have a nurse who smiles and can relax a patient. Nurse explained everything in an easy way for me to understand. I appreciate her expertise and her willingness to have short conversations with me. She gently inserted the catheter that was used for contrast dye. She also gently removed the catheter after the procedures were complete. MRI and CT technicians were also professional and good communicators. They also explained everything ahead of time so I knew what to expect. Two days later I returned to Envision Imaging to pick up my CD-ROM of previous imaging. I also picked up a CD-ROM of the MRI and CT that Envision Imaging performed. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient. They quickly provided the 2 CD-ROM that I ask for. Thank you to the entire staff at Envision Imaging on Plano Pwky. Ok so I went here for a CT Scan - first saw their booth at the State Fair. My husband and I…read morethought it is a good idea to get this done - since I have read how great they are for density and evaluations of the heart and lungs (which are a high percentage where people have silent problems going on !) He never had a complete physical yet and this wd be a great start - so I also wanted one even tho I get annual physicals - I know if Jason Witten is a spokesperson this must be a legit company and it is! We both set up an appt and our 2 heart and Lung scans only cost $99 for two people as a couple. Low and behold after the Scan we both found out things about our health we needed to be alerted to! He had a heart artery blockage and I had a leak in a breast implant . We found out fast and went to our personal physicians after our findings and got taken care of. This is LIFE SAVING -EXACTLY LIKE THEY SAY!' we are so glad we both went. Just go and get yours done -it was easy and fast and the people are caring, knowledgeable, and great. They also have lifetime packages or short term packages that you can take advantage of for savings on future CT Scan costs too. (Normally costs for CT scans are over $1000 -$2000 per area. They are beneficial to those of us who are wanting to stay ahead of their health and preventing major health issues.

Also, you have to request your images as they do not come with the final report. The experience was a little off-putting, but I did get some insight from the heart scan.

Despite the MRI being ordered for spinal stenosis, any competent radiologist should have noted a large, clearly visible lesion. It wasn't until my neurosurgeon took an X-ray that the mass was flagged as concerning, prompting further imaging. Additionally, this facility filed my insurance incorrectly twice, and when I returned, there was no acknowledgment or apology for such a serious oversight. If you need imaging here, I strongly recommend getting a second opinion or requesting a different radiologist to review your scans.

I thought it was nice that the lockers in the mammogram examination area had names of strong women on them that matched a picture of the woman on your key chain. I chose Mother Teresa! Delia was absolutely the kindest and most tender person. She treated me with dignity and respect and we had a nice conversation during the exam. They scheduled me and confirmed the visit only to call days before the visit to cancel saying "that provider is not taking new patients." The office couldn't understand how the appointment was able to be booked by one of their own schedulers. No doctor you want to see is taking new patients, despite their own website listing every physician under the "accepting new patients filter" Just an all around mess of a practice.

You can't practice medicine by text message. I'm done with this practice.
