Came here to be intentional about getting some work done. Since it being later in the afternoon, did not opt for coffee of any sort. I really wanted the strawberries and cream pastry but they were sold out for the day already at 4pm. Let the barista pick the bakery item I'd have instead, no wrong answer. I ended up with the Coconut lime cookie *warmed up*. I liked it, it was interesting but complimentary take. Very soft and crumbly warmed up, the lime flavor in the glaze was more prominent being heated up. Sat outside, was somewhat distracting today.
The matcha I had was just ok. I should've asked for the drink to be sweetened it just honestly tasted like milk. I took one sip and threw the rest away. The Matcha pistachio was much better. It is a dun place to go drink coffee and people watch . The baristas are entertaining "let me be queer" as I heard one of them state . love it
I love the lakefront Colectivo because of the space. The building is beautiful with cream city brick and you can walk to the beautiful Milwaukee lakefront just across the street. I'm also a huge fan of Colectivo coffee and have been for years!
Definitely a well known coffee shop. Colectivo coffee is good, but not my favorite in Milwaukee. It's just really hard to beat this location. I didn't take any photos inside this time but their patio is quite amazing. If you go in the weekends before noon, be prepared to wait awhile. There's just no getting around that unfortunately. Being right off Lincoln Memorial Drive and the Oak Leaf Trail, it's an amazing spot whether you drive, bike, or walk from wherever you're coming from. Parking is limited in their lot, but there's an additional free public parking lot across the street with plenty of availability. For non-coffee drinkers, there's a lot of great menu options for alternatives, as well as some solid food options.

The flavor combination in the chorizo burrito never fails to satisfy all of my breakfast cravings, paired with a coffee drink of course. Today's choice was the salted caramel cream cold brew and it was absolutely perfection! Given how busy this location is, the staff does a great job at getting orders out pretty quickly! Parking at this location can be challenging, especially during peak hours/ summertime but just across the street at the marina is public parking. Don't forget to download the Colectivo app and start collecting rewards towards free coffee, drinks, food and other bakery goodies!
This place was so cute and had lots of seating indoors and out! I got some kind of horchata themed cold brew with oatmilk and it was phenomenal!!!

Inside the seating is limited and it is spread all over the place. Pretty cool though. I ordered the Ginger Rising tea with honey and lemon. They roast their own coffee (not at this location) and I might walk out with some whole beans the next time I come. Pretty chill place, and a great spot to hang out during the warmer seasons of the year.
I got the pink panther smoothie and it was so refreshing and yummy! However it was on the pricer side, almost $8. The service was good, but the ambiance and vibes of this place is the best! The location and outdoor patio is awesome!
As we drove into the parking lot, the trees surrounding us foreshadowed the warm and cozy environment that is Colectivo. Walking through the door the towering ceilings created a large yet comfortable atmosphere. When we ordered the woman was polite and complimented the lady's sweater. The hibiscus lemonade was tart yet delicious, and the water was crisp.
I have been aware of the infamous lakefront colectivo for a while now, but never actually got to experience it. Until now! It's lovely. The inside is large and spacious, with a staircase leading to more seating. There are tables, and even a couple nooks for those looking to focus on work. The menu has plenty of options. Coffee, tea, bakery items, breakfast, and lunch. Seriously, there is something for everyone here - diet restrictions and all. I enjoyed an iced latte with oat milk and spent time inside and out. The patio area is just as awesome as it seems when you drive past it. There is a tiny lot which fits more parking than I expected. Can't wait to go back!

It's a great spot to be on a sunny, summer day! I do love working at this location mornings during the fall and spring semesters. So much space (if you can find a table) and a unique spot itself. A Milwaukee water station. Pretty neat! The service is consistently good. I generally order ahead through the app, but it doesn't take long for my order to be ready. There's a nice selection of smoothies, sandwiches, and other snacks. I'm partial to the veggie breakfast sandwich.
Visiting from Northern Virginia, and let's just say - we've got nothing like this back home(sorry - not sorry). FOOD & DRINK: I ordered a large cold brew with Splenda vanilla cold foam and easy ice - perfectly made, and surprisingly affordable. Paired it with a well toasted everything bagel top with cream cheese and thick juicy tomato slices - no skimping here. SERVICE: friendly, patient, and never rushed even while I debated my drink options like it was a life decision. AMBIANCE: This is where Colectivo shines! Whether you're working socializing or people watching, it checks every box, cozy chairs, writing, plans, plenty of outlets, and vibrant seating, both inside and out. The vibe is effortlessly cool and welcoming. If I lived in Milwaukee, I'd probably move in until then. I'll just dream about it from Northern Virginia.

Driving along the lakefront to find this gem of a spot was the highlight of my afternoon in Milwaukee. Such an awesome coffee shop, industrial yet cottage vibes with an awesome patio out front. We went on the most perfect day too, sunny and bright. This coffee was incredible & even brought home a lil collectivo w me. Friendly staff 10/10 recommend read more
This Colectivo location was nice, their outdoor seating offers great views of the lake while enjoying your coffee. The interior is cool too, there are multiple levels of seating, with an almost ski lodge sort of vibe. I had a lavender scone and a latte here; unlike the other location's avocado toast, the scone here was quite good, it didn't taste too doughy or overly dense. And the latte I got was also good, they have good espresso at this chain for sure. read more

This is a coffee gem. It is housed in an old pumping station. The place has a large inside with different levels and rooms. Good sized patio to accommodate crowds on a nice day. The location has 90 minute free parking. The view is gorgeous. The lakefront and people watching are both fab! They had a National coffee day promo and took them up on a salted caramel iced latte.Yum. read more

My favorite location of my favorite hometown coffee shop. Food and drinks are dependably good. There is plenty of seating indoors and out. I love their summer outdoor music series. There is a parking lot plus plenty of public parking across the street at the marina, and the café is easily accessible from the bike trail. read more
After a long lake walk we stopped in to grab some iced coffee and see what all the hubbub was about. As a tourist, I didn't know this was a local chain and I got the "corporate" feeling from the service and products. Not to say it was bad, because the service and coffee were all great. The building is the best part of this location. Gorgeous patio overlooking the lake (and a highway) in a neat old stone building surrounded by trees. The atmosphere is pretty "hip" but the clientele were pretty diverse. A lot of folks working on their laptops or catching up with friends. The music is pretty loud, though, so I'm not sure how they can concentrate! Didn't try the food but they had a lot of vegetarian and meat options. I'd definitely stop in if I were in the area and walking around the lake but there are other shops in the city I'd rather hit. read more

Food (English muffin and croissant breakfast sandwiches, pastries) was unique and delicious. Coffee was exactly as it should be, and the views are fantastic. Perfect for after a run at the river. read more
I found a much better coffee shop that had excellent coffee (a large cold brew) and breakfast. Comfortable seating, I found a spot up the stairs on the mezzanine with a great view of the space, A POWER OUTLET and their wifi. Work was busy so I was here and pounding away for about five hours. After the cold brew, another cortado and I couldn't resist, smoked salmon on a bagel. I opted for a sourdough bagel (no seeds to fall into the keyboard) and it came with cream cheese, tomato, red onion and even capers! Delicious. 10/25/23 - Colectivo Lakefront coffee 1.2 miles north of The Milwaukee Art Museum. After spending a few hours in the museum I took my brother to Colectivo Lakefront which is my favorite coffee house. This building is so cool it a repurposed pumping station that was converted into Colectivo Lakefront Coffee Long before coffee lovers flocked to the patio in the summertime, the building was used to clean up the Milwaukee River, with an enormous pump that's still in the building today. At the time, it was the largest water pump in the world," said Lincoln Fowler, one of the co-owners of Colectivo Coffee. They have converted into one of the coolest places to get a cup of coffee, pastries, snacks or sandwiches. There are multiple levels for relaxing and enjoying coffee and/or snacks. This location is everything! While visiting friends in MKE, we decide to swing by Colectivo on the Lake to enjoy the sunny fall morning. The patio space is huge, making it perfect for days like these. It was bustling, but we still managed to find a table easily since there are so many. The patio is pup friendly, which was great since we had ours! I went inside to order some food and drinks and was surprised to find the indoor space equally busy. Despite this, our order was ready super quick, so kudos to the hardworking, friendly staff! I ordered the açaí smoothie and avocado toast for myself and the cold brew oat-chata and bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich for my husband. Everything was stellar! The smoothie does have pea protein in it which gives it kind of a funny taste, but I didn't mind it and I'm sure that's something they would be happy to leave out if requested. I loved my simple avo toast, topped with sea salt and crushed pepper. I had a few sips of the oat-chata cold brew and it was also delicious. Lovely spot in Milwaukee! read more
My favorite Collectivo location. The outdoor seating is awesome! A great space with awesome views of Lake Michigan. They have a parking lot so parking is super easy. Very cool old brick building. I loved the vibe inside. Easy order at the counter. I had a delicious chai latte that was ready in about 5 minutes. It was a great place to work for a few hours. Inside has seating upstairs as well. They have bar seating, tables, lots of options. I found a small table tucked away along the windows facing Lake Michigan. Overall great vibe. Highly recommend! read more
You're slipping in service and food quality Colectivo Team... least at the lakefront location. Lack of communication among the team, as I ordered two doubles back-to-back in ceramic, yet was told by the baristas of not having ceramic cups. Tea arrived iced, when ordered hot. Bacon, egg, and cheese croissant... had the manufactured egg product disc (not the usual scrambled egg once experienced at the Humbolt location). I didn't eat a bite. If I wanted a factory made egg, I would go to the global corporate coffee company for pre-packaged delights. Employees appear to be working in their own section (order taking, barista, food prep, order distribution) without communication. read more

Gorgeous lake views! Awesome collective coffee and treats! Long lines during peak times-all summer and weekends. They have serve-yourself-water right as you enter. They have a giant outdoor patio- think bigger than you're thinking! It's huge! Parking is limited to 90min. You'll probably spend that long here because it's gorgeous. But don't even think about leaving your car longer- they'll getcha! read more
We were on vacation and wanted to try this place. This place is gorgeous. There's outdoor seating and indoor seating. There have a good selection of drinks. Pricing was pretty regular. There was a lot of seating indoors. They were pretty busy. I ordered a caramel latte it was really good. Overall we had a good experience. read more

Fun coffee house in an old pump building. The service was friendly and the drink and food orders came out quickly. My Baja bowl was a nice find, not usual coffee house fare, and the cinnamon roll was amazing. The only loss of star comes from the lack of seating, areas were closed off and the "stay all day to try and be cool and look like I'm working on my startup" crowd was taking up a lot of space. read more
