I arrived at this location 5/23 around 1:30. This was my first time at ColdStone and I was helped by Lindsey and my daughter was helped by Natalie. When we first walked in there was a line with about 10 people. Both of these young girls were very nice and Lindsey went the extra step and explained how everything works and recommended flavors. They were also making waffles which smelled and tasted amazing, however I couldn't help but notice it was a little hot in the store and a little expensive for ice cream. There was a girl with short light brown hair, who was wearing a hoodie and apron but with no name tag. She walked out of the back room a couple of times throughout this experience and yet didn't help them out . These girls looked a little stressed with the amount of people that continued to come in. Line was ridiculously long and I soon realized it was because only one of the registers takes card payment so all of the employees have to stand around waiting to ring up customers as the line gets longer. I've been to this location several times and they have yet to fix the problem. This time when I walked in it was extremely hot and I noticed a sign over the thermostat that said "do not touch." All of the employees looked very hot and were clearly sweating. I myself was sweating and I wasn't even working. I feel for the employees whose boss won't give them a properly air-conditioned work environment. I personally won't be going back until I can stand in the building comfortably. read more

Visited this location with my family on a Friday night. My wife decided to use the restroom and struggled with the lock before it seemed to set. Ultimately, a male fellow customer walked in on her. My son and I were being served and I didn't realize what had happened until my wife came and interrupted the person taking our order. I could see and hear my wife was upset as she tells the employee "your restroom lock doesn't work and a man walked in on me while I was using the restroom". The employee she was speaking to (a male teen) and another employee (a female teen) laughed and the male said, "don't feel bad, it happened to me too". Seeing that we didn't find their response appropriate, the female blurts out, "yeah we know, we're working on it". We asked them if they even considered putting a sign on the door and simply take it out of service. The female shrugged it off and said "yeah, we're working on it". Pretty disappointed that there were no adults there to speak to. I didn't have it in me at that moment to try and explain to two kids what seemed to be common sense. We paid for our order and called their corporate line and spoke to an adult that also seemed to find the their employee's conduct on the matter and their failure to address the restroom issue unacceptable. We watched as the location received a call and quickly placed a sign on the restroom taking it out of order (way to go kids!). If any location managers or business owners read this, STOP TRUSTING KIDS TO RUN YOUR BUSINESS. Some just don't seem equipped to care. Visit any other location and stay away from this one. Can't help but wonder what other behaviors or food safety standards we'd expect to be followed simply aren't. read more

I came here after dinner the other night with my family. We walked in and were greeted by the staff. The line had a bit of a wait, but it wasn't bad. I ordered a small cup of their signature creation, "Birthday Cake Remix" with cake batter ice cream, rainbow sprinkles, brownie, and fudge. They made it pretty quickly, although the woman who was first making my ice cream kind of threw it in the cup and it was dripping everywhere. She almost handed it to me like that when another staff member told her that she needs to put it in a new cup and they took it back and put it in a new cup. I appreciated that. Just had a great experience here today! I was here in August and I ordered a last minute cake for my brothers birthday and they did a great job! I wanted to come in today to get some ice cream and so I did. I was helped by Kevin, the dame guy who made my brothers cake and he was super nice. He greeted me and helped me right away. I reminded him about the cake he made me and thanked him. Omar, who I am assuming was the manager, was present and he thanked me for my feedback. The staff was talking amongst themselves rather than greeting the customers. It was so slow. There were 2 groups of people in front of me one group ordered 3-4 items, the next couple ordered 1 thing. It took literally 20 minutes. There was no semblance of order. The girl who helped me was constantly touching her mask and then other items (including the banana she added into my ice cream) without changing gloves. I oredered a shake before my order was made I let the worker (woman) who was working there know I want my extra if there is any. Instead of adjusting the amount so there is no extra, just residue so we are both happy, I visually saw the worker rush to take the extra to the back which I perceived as calling me stupid and blind. OMG! We bought the "You'd Be Nuts Not To Try This" cake (which is basically a snickers chocolate cake) and we were blown away. Visited yesterday, my previous visit was last year before the pandemic. The young lady who helped me at that time last year was rude, impatient, sarcastic, snappy and wasn't too keen on substituting any toppings from the original creations that are on the menu. Fast forward to yesterday and the service I received from Haley was EXCELLENT! She was so kind and patient and made the ice cream very well, the ice cream and toppings everything was very good. She seemed it strange that I explained to her what happened in my last visit and was more than happy to substitute items for me, she was well trained and just seemed to be a down right decent person, thank you so much Haley for your service maybe you were just being a decent person and doing your job but you really made my day! I'll definitely be returning to this establishment and hope service from other employees is as pleasant as it was from Haley, also called to give the manager a thanks his name was Omar and he was very grateful! People rarely call in to say thank you mostly to complain, so people remember while we should make our complaints we should also compliment when we see good service! Service was normal for the kids working the place, can't complain too much about that. The ice cream itself is extremely rich and makes you want to lap up water like no other after you finish eating it! I recommend the signature stuff (germanchocolatekake, founders fave, pie who loved me--my personal faves!) That said, this place in general goes way overboard on the richness so much so that I just can't see myself going back here for a long while.. So very dense calorically and otherwise! I was in the Riverside Plaza and wanted Ice Cream. We usually get the frozen yogurt type of ice cream, but I could not find a store like this. So I decided to try Cold Stone Creamery. The ice cream here is really good. However, that goodness comes with a drawback. It is loaded with calories. Lots of calories. I had a medium sized ice cream and I really should have had a small. It stuck with me for the rest of the day. My wife calls this "Blap!!!". Also the price is quite high. I paid around 7 dollars for my mint chocolate ice cream. The ice cream is made by hand. First they scoop it out of the ice cream barrel, then the place it on a "Cold Stone" and start mixing the chocolate chips and chunks of chocolate. read more

The service was horrible. Ordered two ice creams and by the time we got the second one, the first one was already melting. On the second ice cream, the server didn't ask what mix ins we wanted and just put the ice cream in the cup. When we told her we wanted mix ins, she just put them on top, instead of mixing it into the ice cream. When we were paying (with credit card) she asked us if we wanted to make a donation to "Make-A-Wish" foundation. We said yes and she replied just put how much you want to donate in the tip section. To me, this is super shady. Even if the donation is legit, there is no proof for us that we made a donation if we wanted to, say, claim it on our taxes, and there is no way for them to differentiate between what was a donation and what was just a tip.
