Stopped by Cold Stone and had a really disappointing experience. There were two employees working, and the place was completely empty--yet every table was dirty, the floors hadn't been cleaned, and even the bathroom was in poor condition. The front counter area also looked like it hadn't been wiped down in quite a while. When I'm paying around $7 for a child's scoop for my grandson, I expect at least a clean and welcoming environment. Summer means icecream. We have been to this location multiple times and specially after a movie near by. We like this place for a quick cup, but the place needs a revamp. The place looks some clean up, looks old and unwelcoming. The service is quick and fast. We usually get the classic chocolate, cookies and cream. This cold stone was near a Harkins theater. I think a lot of cold stone creamery locations are located near theaters. The inside of the store was very warm which was nice because it was a cold evening when I visited. There was a couple sitting at a table near the front when I arrived. There were two employees. The employee was quick at making the ice cream mixture for me. I enjoyed the ice cream very much. I think it tastes delicious. Cold stone is one of my favorite ice cream places because of their flavor selection. I enjoyed the sweet cream ice cream. They had an ice cream flavor called hot honey that I wasn't able to test taste. I am interested and will have to try if I am able to visit again before they remove the hot honey ice cream flavor. they have a spacious parking lot but because they're located next to a movie theater, it can get really crowded in the parking lot. I ordered DoorDash form this location and really wish I hadn't. My friend and I both got create your own combination ice cream and we both ordered the love it size. I got a waffle cone and she just got a regular cup. When our order arrived, we received the wrong size and they forgot my waffle cone. I called the store and was told there was nothing that could be done because the manager wasn't there. No I'm sorry for the mistake, no empathy provided. She just said "so are you coming back for your waffle cone?" I reiterated that this was a *doordash* order so no, I won't be driving to the store to get the waffle cone I would give more than one star but when I called, the gal who answered was rude and could not care less about the mishap. I get that it probably wasn't her fault, but she could have provided a solution instead of telling me there was nothing she could do. Whenever I wanna live my best life and take a chance on having ice cream, I travel to this location since it's by all of the Auto dealerships(My browsing mechanism). Although, allergic to ice cream, (not lactose, there is a difference) I always have the Strawberry Blondie...my absolute favorite one!!! This is the worst service by far on this Sunday night of November 8, 2020. At approximately 5:25pm me and my families decided to order some ice cream from Door Dash. Cold Stone was the first option which was our favorite! We placed our order and we got it in under 30 minutes as promised. When we received our ice cream......one was great and the other was a disaster! My wife ordered a "Love it" with French vanilla, pecans, caramel, and Oreos. When she got her ice cream there were no pecans and no caramel. The Oreos were not even crunched up in the ice cream like usual. THEY DO NOT ADHERE TO ALLERGY INSTRUCTIONS or SANITATION GUIDELINES. Ordered online through Cold-stone. Ordered two dairy free ice creams with dairy free toppings. When they arrived to my home unfortunately the toppings we ordered weren't the only ones in the ice cream. We found peanut butter, some white liquid and peanuts. I clearly stated on the ice cream that there was a dairy allergy and to change spoons so there would be no cross contamination. Thought this was what they were supposed to do anyway but apparently not. When I drove back and talked to the staff no one was helpful. I asked for the managers name and a phone number to call about this issue further. The staff there said, "that's personal information and we can't give it out." So hopefully here a manager will see and reach out to fix the issue of how you gave someone with an allergy exactly what they are allergic to. read more

I don't know what people's problem with this place is. We enjoy Cold Stone and have not really had any issues with the staff mentioned in other reviews. They always load you up with toppings. I don't get the big deal. The ice cream was mediocre. Nothing special at all. And the "mix-ins", while nice, are again not a big deal. And this stuff is expensive for being so mediocre. On the plus side, the staff was very friendly. If I have a coupon I might return to Cold Stone, but otherwise probably not. I much prefer Frost gelato. No contest. read more

Worst location! The first time we went they didn't have cones. The second time I placed an online order/paid and arrived 20 min later. They didn't have my order even though I showed them my email showing that the order was received and confirmed. So I ended up waiting 15 more minutes for my order before noticing that the girl wasn't even wearing gloves. There was another employee there but instead of assisting to help get my order out quickly he made 2 orders that were taken to the back of the store. Who doesn't like this place. It's actually never too busy and if so the line moves pretty fast. My favorite is the banana crunch and that's all I get. The location is right next to the movie theater and other places and it stays busy. So far all of our experiences have been pleasant and hope they continue to do good business. read more

The people who work here are rude. There was literally no one else in the store when i walked in. I was helped by a young girl and i asked for the "everybody's" size ice cream to bring home. She looked behind her at her coworker and asked him "do you want to make an everybody's " and he said "no, because I already made one". So she kind of rolled her eyes and started making it. First of all I feel like she skimped on the toppings and she only half ass mixed everything in. Second she didn't even fill it to the top. Third, isn't that your job? To scoop and mix ice cream? I mean, you know what you signed up for when you applied to work at...COLD STONE CREAMERY!!! At my job people die if I don't do my job thoroughly. I literally just changed my review from 4 to 1.This after sitting eating our treat & watching what occurred. Three employees on staff. The employee with the arm brace served a friend ( I'm hoping/ assuming) & don't believe he charged him? The "friend" went to use the restroom (after he got his ice cream) so this employee at the register picks up this ice cream & went to put it in the small frig. As he bent down, I saw him take a bite. I was in shock & told the people that I was with- what I just witnessed. After the customer / friend came back the employee then goes to get the ice cream out of the frig- walks over to the register to hand it to him & blatantly takes another bite before he handed it back to the customer/ friend & laughed! I'm so disgusted; I will not be back to this location. These young staffers probably don't even have their food handlers cards with such actions as this! BTW- the same employee was having issues with the credit card machine & the customer prior to us may not have been charged? He claimed he had to shut down the machine and reboot it?! He asked her to pay cash & then said "just forget it, you're good".. When we came up, he asked us how we were paying, I told him we had a gift card & he said "good".. Our family frequents this Cold Stone at least once a week. We have only had one bad experience with them when the staff put my ice cream in the freezer to stay cold while everyone else ordered and got theirs to go. We get home to enjoy our delicious ice cream and my (the pregnant lady) ice cream wasn't in the bag. So make sure when you order to go that you have all your ice creams and they put and extra cup under so it doesn't melt every where. read more

It was a prepackaged cookie which was clearly bought from a local grocery store (because I could see the package) with a tiny scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Total ripoff! The staff was not equipped in any way, shape or form to handle the long line. The one lady was clearly new and lacked the training required. This place has gone downhill over the past year. We walked in tonight to grab some ice cream cupcakes. Grabbed em from the freezer, there was no one in line and took em up too the register. The kid wont look at us but instead while looking away, says "I'm gonna have to ring everyone up first." Really?? You expect customers to wait in the ice cream line to pay for grab and go items? Needless to say, we left and now we will stick with Menches. Menches by the way, has great service... unlike cold stone. =] read more
