My sister and I just went to the restaurant in the morning. She love the salad dressing of veal…read moresalad and I prefer the salmon olive. The veal is a bit over-cooked for us. Also, my sister loves her vanilla milkshake. She would definitely try others drink next time. I will have a cocktail instead.

Tried this new bakery ( location 2224 Ave X, not Ave U) today through the UberEats and had mixed…read morefeelings, so sharing an honest review for anyone curious. The good first: the pastries did taste fresh (not stale or frozen), and the chocolate éclair itself was genuinely tasty -- smooth filling, balanced sweetness, and the best item from my order. But the execution + value were disappointing, especially for the very high prices vs to prices and sizes for similar items in multiple nearby bakeries. Packaging / delivery issue: the two éclairs were put together in one box without being secured, so during transit the chocolate ganache rubbed off and smeared onto the mango éclair. For $7 per éclair, that's not acceptable -- they need to separate or secure them properly. Almond croissant: very small and had only a thin layer of almond filling with NO sliced/shaved almonds, which is not what you expect from a classic almond croissant! Raisin & custard croissant-many people think of as a "raisin + custard spiral", traditionally called Pain aux raisins (also known as an escargot). This one tasted fresh, but had no custard at all -- basically a raisin spiral without the cream component. Mango éclair: the filling was bright orange but tasted strongly acidic, extremely sour, more like citrus or an apricot/citrus gel than mango -- no real mango flavor or aroma. It didn't smell spoiled, but it was not what was expected based on the menu. Coffee: very mediocre, flavorless and arrived barely warm, definitely Do NOT recommend wasting money on that when even regular franchise coffee shops produce much better tasting coffee. Overall: freshness is there, but portion size, packaging for delivery, and flavor accuracy need improvement. I'd come back for the chocolate éclair only if they fix packaging, size vs price & quality control issues and will tighten up the recipes/descriptions.

I have had the honor of not only tasting Samatha's delicious cakes, cake pops, and cookies at my…read morebaby shower, but also of working with her prior to her starting her own business. Samantha is professional, sweet, charming, and super talented. For my baby shower, Samantha created a beautiful spread of Dulce De leche cake, cake pops and adorably decorated cookies (rattles, onsies, champagne glasses) for my baby shower in late February. All of which fit perfectly in the theme of twinkle twinkle little star mixed with she's about to pop theme. Through out the event guests asked me who made the cookies, cake, and cake pops because they were so good. The decoration was classy, elegant, and festive. In just one bite you can tell her ingredients are top notch. The cake and cake pops were unbelievably moist and had the perfect balance of sweetness. Yes, it's months later and I'm writing this review now. Motherhood has rushed over me like a stormy wave of physical and emotional intensity that has changed my life forever, but those cake pops and cake still float through my mind as a pleasantly sweet memory that I still smile to myself about.

I contacted her about 2 weeks before my event and thought I would not be able to book her due to short notice. Samantha is the definition of professionalism. She contacted me via phone after my email and we went over what I wanted. She allowed me to make changes and did not appear money hungry. It was so easy working with her and I will be recommending her to friends and family. When my cake was delivered, it was packaged beautifully. When I unboxed my cake, I was stunned. Her work was amazing. Booking Samantha for my daughter first birthday party was a great idea. Thank you so much! I felt so bad cutting into the cake but it was even more delicious to eat. I will be using you in the future. Your cakepops were also great!
