Found this place as a minor pit stop on our way up North.....Ummmm let me just say Outstanding!!! I love small local coffee shops....went in for coffee, came out with goodies galore....everything we ate was great, coffee was great but the prize was the Focaccia bread.....WOW!! WOW!! WOW!!....i love this bread but this coffee shop exceeded my expectations by a landslide. I mean it was like clouds stuffed between 2 layers of crust. I actually went in for a second round and while speaking with the lady behind the counter was introduced to the baker behind this edible goodness. We live across the river but will definitely make this a stop moving forward read more

Delicious coffee. Very quaint cool place, which is busy and vibrant but very clean. For sure favorite coffee when in cold springs or are around. Pastries look delicious sadly they mostly are sold out by the time I get there (around noon). Maybe weekdays are slower. A must if you are in cold springs read more

First, what a lovely town. So much to take in. And if you're in town, you need to stop in to the Cold Spring Coffeehouse. Delicious food and drink, accompanied by a welcoming atmosphere. The shoppe supports talented local artists by displaying their work, which also leads to an eclectic decor. The cold spring coffeehouse is so good I would go out of my way to stop in. We were hiking BREAKNECK ridge and will be back to explore more. You've got plenty of amazing hiking trails, as well as the quaint town with unique shoppes. Worth the visit! read more

I found myself in Cold Spring and decided to stop in for a coffee break. Nice and cozy coffee shop located in such a cute and welcoming town. I loved the area and the shops on Main street. I ordered my usual-cafe mocha with almond milk and a chocolate chip cookie for my little one. They have a nice array of desserts from scones, cookies, muffins and something that looked like a pinwheel cinnamon roll thing (sorry don't know what's it called.) We sat down next to a cool chess table which was nice while I waited for my coffee. My coffee was good but had a cold brew taste. Not sure if that makes sense to my fellow coffee drinkers. It didn't have much of a mocha flavor which was different but not bad. I tried some of the cookie which I have to add was really good. The outside of the place says Est. 2019 so they must be brand spanking new. I thought the coffee was good and the vibe seems very chill. Nice place to do some work or have a coffee break. read more

So so cute and beautiful! I had an iced lavender matcha oat latte and it was delicious! I wish there were more plain pastries, but their pastries looked so good! The staff are kind and friendly! read more

Baked goods are delicious! Staff is atrocious. I watched her pick her nose while making my coffee and when I was handed my drink I wanted to confirm what it was and she rolled her eyes at me. Nasty girls behind the counter and sour coffee. I recommend the salmon croissant. Skip the coffee and wait until the end to tip. read more

This is an amazing place to just get a pastry and coffee. (I was looking for something quick / not a sit down breakfast) I ordered a chocolate croissant. It was so good, I had to go back to get a 2nd one. Some of the best pastries I've ever had. That's saying a lot considering I grew up in Europe. Great coffee too. read more

Vegan croissants, vegan chocolate croissants, vegan BROWNIE croissants, vegan tahini choc chip cookies, vegan brownies!!!! Does it get better than all this, honestly. Everything I listed my mom and I tried, we were pleasantly astonished with the many choices of vegan goodies they offered. We called this morning to ask them if they would have vegan croissants, and when we actually got there they had many more options. So glad we came! Everything was practically 10/10 The croissants looked straight out of Paris, PERFECTLY flakey layers, such high quality! It's amazing that they are able to replicate the texture using vegan ingredients. The tahini cookie I think was actually my favorite!! My mom LOVED the brownie which was how a brownie should be, gooey and fudge like, not cakey! Thank you for keeping luxurious pastries authentic and vegan available! PLEASE keep up the outstanding work. I will definitely be returning soon and throughout the year as a study location. Espresso drinks were properly made, my mom got her first coffee drink after years of me convincing her she would like espresso drinks, she loved her almond milk mocha and so did I :) read more

Stopped in here after a long hike. Literally had one of the best lattes I've ever had in my life here - and I have a latte pretty much every day. I sucked it down in like 5 minutes. It was so good that I ordered a second one! Also tried their vegan blueberry almond muffin and it was delicious. Highly recommend and I plan on coming back next time I'm in the area! read more

The best coffee around and the baked goods are out of this world. Nice atmosphere too and a quiet place to get some work done. Love it

They are very friendly and the latte's are lovely. The live music coming from their backyard seating consistently brings me joy.

I used to LOVE this place and would travel 30 min for their cold brew and focaccia. In the past year their recipe has changed and the cold brew tastes like water - we miss the old recipe! Such a bummer. Great pastries! read more

Had a wonderful iced mocha latte here and a strawberry chocolate chip muffin that was so fresh and so moist, I couldn't believe it! Been wanting to visit this cafe since they opened and I was so happy to find a spot right in front and be able to go in. I love how they remodeled the space and how beautiful everything looks. Definitely a great place to grab a coffee and hang out for a bit. Love that everything is baked fresh there and that nothing tasted bitter or artificial! They're definitely the best coffeehouse in the Cold Spring area and I can't wait to go back! read more

Came for their pastry menu around 1pm, but they were sold out and they said it's only available in the morning. The staff was kind of inattentive, I was trying to order and they were talking to each other and didn't hear me. Lots of flies too it was hard to find a decent seat away from them. I went mid October. read more

Coffee is ok average strong what you would expect in any descent coffee house. But. Nothing to go with the coffee. Not even a cookie. Strange ?? Now I understand you can sell out. Great if you are busy and they are. But. Cookies and the like would be easy to stock. read more

I come to Cold Spring for day trips from NYC, and always grab a coffee and croissant here before heading out on a hike. Coffee is great and pastry's are yummy. read more

Love their almond croissants but wow what a price increase. And they're smaller too, sadly getting more for less. So you don't run out, limit 2 per customer. read more

Considering this is seemingly the only coffee shop for miles, its good! Nothing super memorable but its good food and some of the better pastries in upstate NY. Their maple latte is delicious though. read more

Coffee is really good, both the hot and iced. Vegan treats also tasty. Cute shop!

Absolutely ridiculous this coffee shops "rules". NY state does not require proof of vaccination to sit indoors, however this "establishment" feels like they have the ability and control to refuse paying customers to sit in the shop if you don't have "proof" of your personal medical history. I wish I demanded a refund, and I will not return along with steer all future customers away. read more

Extraordinary coffee and pastries. The barista's are the best trained I've seen, and I grew up in Seattle! Thorough, exacting, beautiful pores and attention to customer service. Worth a trip to the Hudson Valley! read more

Many items were out of stock. We could not choose any drinks except for coffee for kids on Sunday. Very disappointed due to expecting their services with checking the reviews of Yelp. read more

They have a sign that says you must provide a vaccine card in order to sit at one of their tables...I shouldn't be surprised, since it's Cold Spring. If you're not down with these ridiculous mandates, steer clear of the Commie Coffeehouse. The Dunkin Donuts up the road will do just fine. read more

Ok I don't know which coffeehouse Jennifer D went to, but this place is the bomb! The pastries are made fresh daily, and with the perfect balance of savory and sweet. Moist and flaky croissants with inventive flavor combinations. The coffee is divine. I never want to make my own again. And the atmosphere is perfect. Local art on the walls, comfy chairs, Wi-Fi. It's everything you need in a coffee house, Unless you're addicted to those mainstream wannabes. read more

Stopped in on a Friday night, when there was live music. It's a delightful little place with a very nice vibe. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating. The latte I ordered was excellent (iced maple), others in my party were pleased with their drinks as well. A trio was playing folk music so we sat awhile and listened. Whenever I'm in this area, I will definitely return. By the way, I was informed that they feature music on Friday nights and have an outdoor area for this. Due to the weather, we were indoors, but I imagine it's great when that area is available. read more

I'm in here several times a week. This is a locally owned business; the staff is thorough and the coffee is always right. I order the oat milk mocha and I'm addicted. All of their syrups are homemade. The pastries are incredible, Mia, the baker is the real deal and only uses the highest quality ingredients. I live for her croissants. They're REAL croissants. She also makes lovely gluten-free biscuits (both savory and sweet) and they often have vegan alternatives. The decor is great and the wifi is good. It's a very cozy atmosphere where kids, professionals, and commuters all blend together. read more

Cold Spring Coffeehouse is consistent and delicious. Great coffee, fantastic baked goods and kind service. Keeping this community spot humming during a pandemic was no easy task, I'm sure. This team worked their butts off to serve their community and keep us connected. Appreciate the opportunity to catch up with neighbors or enjoy some midday quiet time on the back patio. Weekends are packed in Cold Spring, be sure to get there early to get your pick of the pastries! read more
