Let me be very clear -- I come here for the BLOODIES! Not saying their food isn't good just that my…read moredrive from Milw. is based solely on the desire to order their delicious bloodies! With that said, if you're looking for a tasty bloody mary and are in the area or looking for a 'hidden gem' off the beaten path, head on over to Jimmy's in Jackson, WI! Their specialty bloody marys are available on Saturdays and Sundays and feature the Greek God as well as the Cheesehead. If you're looking for a tasty meal and bloody all in one then both of these will certainly satisfy! What are these two specialty bloodies you speak of? Well, the Cheesehead comes with all their regular fixings (lemon wedge, cheese cube, celery, summer sausage, pickle, mushroom, etc.) but then also comes with cheese curds, string cheese whips, and a FULL GRILLED CHEESE! The Greek God comes with their regular bloody mary fixings (lemon wedge, pickle, celery, summer sausage, cheese cube, mushroom, etc), an entire GYRO complete with onion, Kalamata olive, feta cheese, gyro meat, pita bread, etc. with a side of tzaziki sauce! Lastly, you're probably wondering, how's the mix?! Well, IMO, the bloody is robust in flavor (this is what I look for) and, while you'll be asked if you'd like your bloody mild or spicy, keep in mind you can order somewhere in the middle (for this robust glass of deliciousness, I think a medium spice is just perfect). All in all, Jimmy's is a spot I'll gladly take a little weekend drive for a bloody mary craving! One more thing--how are they handling the COVID pandemic? Well, for starters--their outdoor patio has at least 3 hand sanitizing stations, all staff are in mask both when serving indoor and outdoor diners. I sat outside last weekend and we were able to watch the Packer game on a flat screen (yep, there's a TV on the patio) and they cranked the heat lamps on for us...felt like we were just at the Game! HaHA! Indoors, customers are required to wear their masks indoors unless seated at their tables and eating/drinking. Thanks, Jimmy's! The pandemic is no joke and our COVID numbers are way too high in this state so, cheers to you for trying to help do your part amidst such unforeseen times. Fellow Yelpers, tip 'em well!

Her meal was well worth the price. Next time I will order that instead. I know prices have increased and I understand that. I like to try something a little different, so I ordered the Avocado Toast with Eggs. I requested my eggs over easy, and they came out perfectly cooked. Service: We arrived right as they opened, so there were only a few occupied tables. We were seated immediately. Our server did a great job getting us settled in, gave us plenty of time to look over the menu, and never made us feel rushed. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout our meal. Atmosphere: The restaurant has a welcoming feel. Large windows fill the dining room with natural light, and the tables and booths provide plenty of space. The noise level was low enough to enjoy a quiet conversation. I also liked how they used wood posts and beams to break up the large dining room, making it feel more intimate. Nice touch. Overall, it was a solid breakfast experience. I'd love to see a few more inventive daily specials to complement the menu.

It's a busy place so we had to wait about 10 minutes on a Saturday morning, but I was OK with it. The building itself is pretty good sized. They have a couple of different rooms with lots of tables and booths. They also have some tables outside to wait at, but I'm not sure if they have an actual outdoor patio to eat at. The service was great and everyone was friendly. They all definitely work well as a team. I started out with just a plain black coffee. They also have iced coffees and Frappuccino type coffees. I believe they have juices and can even make some cocktails like mimosas. They did offer me sugar and cream with my coffee, but I just like my coffee black so that's how I ordered it. For my entrée, I ordered the village omelette and added gyro. It comes with spinach, tomatoes, and feta so the gyro meat sounded delightful in it. It also came with a choice of side, and I opted for fresh fruit. And then finally, you can choose between pancakes or toast. I went with plain sourdough toast. Everything was great and super fresh. The omelette was filling and well-made. They have a gyro sandwich and based on that omelette, I would definitely get the sandwich. The meat was tender and flavorful. And the feta gave the perfect little salty tang. I actually want to re-create the omelette that I had there here in Kansas City because it was so so good. The fruit was fresh and was mainly just honeydew and cantaloupe. And the toast was a perfect vehicle for some of the omelette to my mouth. Overall, I loved this brunch spot. If I lived in the area, I would go pretty regularly. If you are up north in Wisconsin stop in and check them out because you will not be disappointed.

The food is always delicious, the service is truly impeccable with well trained, friendly servers, and it's very clean and homey. I had an egg special, and my choices included two (perfectly cooked) poached eggs, three crisp on the outside sausages, a well balanced fruit bowl with fresh pineapple, melons, and grapes, and a short stack of their light and fluffy pancakes. My husband had over easy eggs, bacon, pancakes and fruit, plus we both had The Coop's rich, deeply flavorful coffee. Everything was excellent and at a most affordable price. Fast forward several hours: my daughter and her young sons were in the area on an errand, so we met up and of course the boys were hungry, so as The Coop was, once again, very close, we went there. My daughter was very happy to see decidedly different menu options for kids' meals than the usual. Two of them had grilled cheese sandwiches with fruit cups, the third had a scrambled egg, sausage, a pancake and fruit, my daughter had French toast, and I had two cheeseburger sliders with fries. Everyone loved their food and the atmosphere, and they all want to go back. Two great experiences in one day!

Came here with my brother for breakfast. Food: I'm not very traditional when it comes to breakfast, so I like a menu that has a few interesting items. It didn't take long for the food to arrive. Everything was hot, the portions were generous, and the food was nicely seasoned. The eggs were cooked over easy, with the yolks still runny. The avocado and spinach were fresh and served on a toasted English muffin that was nicely buttered. It was an excellent choice. The accompanying American fries got an upgrade with cheese and fried onions. Absolutely delicious! This will probably be my go-to breakfast when I return.
