Coffeeholic is a fantastic spot if you love Vietnamese coffee and asian flavors. They have a good amount of options for pastries. Tropical Vine is my favorite drink. The coffee is strong with a punch of pandan flavor. The pandan jelly was so refreshing, adds a nice chewy texture. I highly recommend adding the ube foam! My husband loves their Vietnamese coffee and orders it every single time we are in Seattle. The coffee is strong- no kidding, it makes my heart pound. You can order online and pickup in store. The drinks are amazing! I've been following this place on Instagram for a while and have been meaning to go, and it's definitely worth it! I love Vietnamese coffee, and Coffeeholic goes above and beyond to bring flavors like pandan, ube, and black sesame into coffee. They have excellent cold and hot drinks, and I would go back. The interior is really aesthetic and has some great photo opps, but this location in particular does not have any seating, so keep that in mind. There are a few parks nearby, so with the weather starting to get nicer, it's a fun idea to grab a drink and go! I got the Tropical Vine, with coconut milk, coffee, pandan, and pandan jelly. It was light, refreshing, creamy, and I could definitely taste the pandan. My friends got the ube drink and another drink with Vietnamese coffee, hazelnut syrup, and cheese foam as well. Coffeeholic definitely stands out from other coffee shops with their Vietnamese coffee and flavors. I've come across another coffee shop selling ube coffee but it was pretty whatever. Coffeeholic also sells pandan drinks which I hadn't seen. It's also more or less a to go place - there's no seating indoors or in front. I got a 16oz tropical vine which is essentially a pandan iced coffee. I really liked the drink as it wasn't just a hint of pandan but a good strong pandan flavor. The drink isn't watery and is almost slightly thick. It also comes with some pandan jelly! Overall a great drink and I'll definitely keep coming back to try other drinks. Parking was a okay. If you're here just to get a drink there's a couple 30 min loading street spots otherwise you'll be competing for spaces with the restaurant next door. Beautiful store and delicious Asian flavored drinks! I got the smaller size and it's SMALL. I didn't expect it to be so small! But the drink was so good. I got the Tropical Vine (Coconut milk infused with pandan flavor. It comes with soft pandan jelly and dripped coffee). I love coconut and I love pandan and this drink had both! A Vietnamese coffee shop is all I've ever wanted so when I found out about this spot, I headed there immediately! They have an endless list of coffees, blended drinks, and lattes! I have been by twice and tried a classic Vietnamese Iced Coffee and the Coffeeholic Dream with Ube Drizzle. Both drinks were so good! I could definitely just drop by every morning to get an iced coffee but I still want to try all their other drinks like the Purple Haze and Tropical Vine. They also have baked goods and pastries on sale too - doughnuts, croissants, and filled bread buns! I haven't tried the pastries but they look so good too! It should be noted that the place is only a to-go place with no seating around. It is super cute inside with plants and sometimes it's decorated for the festive holiday season! As for parking, you gotta get lucky and find some street parking which hasn't been an issue for me so far. Best Vietnamese coffee hands down. This is the OG spot so everything made here is the original recipe they use. My most notable visit was to snag the egg cups. We got the Coffeeholic Dream and Purple Haze. Both are wonderful options and you can even opt for ube drizzle on the Coffeeholic Dream so that's a win-win. Definitely pricey though and a really small cup because my friends and I finish our drinks so fast, not only because it's small but also because it's tasty. I don't think it's worth marking down for that small nuance though. Coffeeholic Dream is the perfect drink to give you a boost when you need it while also being tasty through a sweet liquid infused with a salty cream foam. The other coffee drinks are much stronger and taste great as well, but their taste is second to the Coffeeholic Dream. Purple Haze is purple for a reason as it's all about ube. Also a great boba supplement if you like taro or ube milk tea. The ube foam is also distinct and enhances the flavor by adding a layer of bitter saltiness combined with the faint ube flavor. One of my more recent favorites is the Tropical Vine. As a boba fiend, the pandan jelly as a topping really hits the spot and adds a soft, chewy texture to my experience which I love. The drink itself is also really refreshing and delightful. Pandan already has a coconut flavor in addition to somewhat of a vanilla taste and the coconut milk enhances this so the drink also tastes healthy in a way. read more

Awe inspiring to see Coffeeholic thrive since opening up in the beginning of the pandemic! Their iced coffees are winners, with the vast array of drinks and sauces. I'm a big fan for anything with their ube syrup. The drinks are on the sweeter side, but you can order them less sweet. My husbands fav is the Vietnamese iced coffee with the ube drizzle. My friend and I were having a brunch date and decided to visit this coffee shop for our coffee fix after eating. The coffee shop is just around the corner off the main road and so it feels more secluded and is not affected by the busy foot traffic on the main road. However, it was quite busy inside. The wait was not longer than 5 minutes to order and it was just over 5 minutes to receive my drink. They had many mobile orders also coming in. The cafe is very modern with high ceilings, vibrant decor/paint color choices, and many plants. The cafe is a loft but customers do not have access to the upper loft. There is no seating, so drinks are always to go, so hopefully in the future seating becomes an option as it is a cute environment. The menu was comprehensive and focused heavily on Vietnamese coffee and unique coffee flavors. Drinks are about $6, but for how delicious they are, it is worth every penny. I ordered the ube iced latte and it was so creamy with a thick layer of ube fluff on top. The sweetness isn't overwhelming at all. I would love to go back and try more of the flavors. read more

Really cute coffee store I've been seeing everywhere on insta so I dragged my husband all the way there (we came from Puyallup) to try! Parking is a bit weird because the streets say they're closed but we were able to find some parking off the street. I got the purple Haze and my husband got the regular vietnamese coffee. They both tasted good, but I do wish my Uber would've tasted a bit more...ube-y? Stronger? Yeah, this coffee is worth the hype! I love iced Vietnamese coffee, so I had to give their bestseller, Coffeeholic Dream, a try. Considering it was Sunday afternoon and Columbia City was bustling (as was the shop) my order was taken and served quickly, and the counter person was very friendly. I came here with a friend who wanted an instashot of their coffee on a Friday morning around 10:30 am. To my surprise there was no wait. The foam was sweet, but not too much so where it would leave the sugar sweaters on your teeth and the coffee was definitely a nice surprising kick in the middle of the ube flavor. This coffee shop has nowhere to sit, so it is take-out only. They have 3rd Anniversary Special going on right now - each day a specific drink is on sale, $5 for a 16 ounce drink, hot or cold. Today's special was the Dark Night, a black sesame latte. I ordered it cold and enjoyed it. Be sure to mix it so the sweet nuttiness of the black sesame is part of the entire drink, not sitting on top. I also had a custard bun.
