Really liked this spot in Wallingford! Friendly people and cute spot to hang around in. We tried the mango matcha and dark night latte, and enjoyed both.
I've been on a matcha kick for a while, which means I've had a lot of really mediocre to bad matcha, with a good one from time to time. This place serves a really good matcha. And if you're like me and not from the neighborhood and want to try it all without having to decide, they offer this split cup where you can have two drinks. I've never seen that before and it was fun.
Recently remodeled, Coffeeholic offers a refreshed and inviting space that's both modern and comfortable. It's a great spot to relax, catch up, or just enjoy a quality drink. Their menu keeps things simple but well executed, featuring coffee, matcha, and a selection of pastries, with drink sizes ranging from 8 oz to 24 oz depending on what you're in the mood for. I ordered the Matcha Purple Haze, which stood out with its smooth, well balanced flavor definitely something I'd come back for. I also tried the Coffeeholic Dream, and it was a hit rich, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the overall presentation of the shop really adds to the experience. Between the quality drinks, clean aesthetic, and great service, Coffeeholic checks all the boxes for a solid coffee spot.
Our first stop once we landed! COFFEEHOLIC DREAM A Vietnamese coffee with a layer of salted cheese foam on top. Velvety, bold, and creamy. A perfect balance between bitterness and sweetness. My friend absoultely loved this! He said BEST COFFEE HE'S EVER HAD. Bold statement. This is their best seller for a reason! Tropical Vine Pandan coconut coffee Made with coconut milk, natural pandan flavor, phin dripped coffee and pandan jello. As someone who doesn't drink coffee, I really liked this one since the pandan flavor is SO GOOD. We also got their chocolate croissant and it's really good! The croissant is flaky and they use dark chocolate so it's not too sweet. Come to LA please?
Coffeeholic House is one of my boyfriend's favorite go-to coffee place to visit whenever he is in Seattle. Since he was visiting for the holidays this year, he stopped by to grab coffee for the both of us while I was working. I requested for the Iced Peppermint Mocha Latte since it fit the festive mood at the time. However, it was not the best peppermint mocha latte I have ever had. It unfortunately missed the par and my standards of taste. The mocha flavor just didn't suit the peppermint flavor that was also in the drink. I still finished the drink as I wanted the caffeine pick me up, but I personally would not order it again.
I came home for a quick stop before heading out on a long trip and was introduced to this little gem. The first word that came to mind was "quaint"! The coffee was delicious--I ordered the Purple Haze, an ube latte topped with ube foam, and it was amazing. This is such a cozy spot. If you're in the area, you have to stop by for the experience. Trust me, you'll be back for more.
Fun little coffee house with very unique fusion flavors. This is definitely a treat place to stop by. We tried a dark night expresso latte (with black sesame cold foam), purple haze (ube latte with ube cold foam), and matcha purple haze latte. They were all tasty - the dark night was a little better than the matcha purple haze. Prices are reasonable for specialty drinks. There was only one worker there when we stopped by though, and it did take about 15 or so minutes to get our drinks so I wouldn't count on a quick stop by if you're in a rush.
Came in on a rainy thursday morning. The place was clean and decorated for the upcoming holidays. You can order on their touch screen kiosk and the workers were knowledgeable and nice. I didn't catch it until too late, I believe I ordered a 24 oz and may have been given a 16 oz but that was on me for not catching it and going back. I ordered the Tiramisu Egg Coffee: delicious.
I love this place. If I lived nearby, I would get a drink every day. I spontaneously grabbed a pastry and was pleasantly surprised at how fresh and tasty it was (croissant with ham). There is street parking right by the front door and this shop is out of the way so there is often parking nearby. The coffee is fun and delicious. The service is friendly and quick. You can order at the kiosk. There really isn't anywhere to sit inside so it's more of a grab and go place.
The drinks were quite good! It's tough that many of them can't be completely dairy free by subbing alternative milk. The server was helpful and was able to answer all our questions. There really wasn't much of a place to sit and drink things, aside from a large bench. There's also no restroom. It seems like the top area is just storage for boxes or something instead of seating.

I'm currently on vacation and stumbled upon this perfect little Vietnamese coffee shop--and I'm so glad I did! From the cozy, inviting ambiance to the incredibly kind and attentive customer service, everything about this place made me feel welcome. Each day I stopped in, I tried something new from the menu, and every single drink was absolutely delicious. I never once regretted my choice--each one had its own unique flavor and was made with such care. You can really tell how much love and pride goes into everything here. This spot quickly became one of the highlights of my trip. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great coffee, amazing vibes, and a place that feels like a little home away from home.
I really liked the coffee but didn't like the menu. There isn't a menu displayed, it's only on the order screen. It doesn't have any descriptions either of what is in the drink. I had to ask the worker, she was very kind and gave me descriptions for several drinks. I just think it's inconvenient to not know what you're ordering. The coffee itself was great. I got the Coffeeholic dream, half sweet with extra ube. The coffee itself was delicious, I could barely taste the ube flavor even with the extra. The size is kinda small for the price. Other than that, I think it's worth a try.

Coffeeholic is a fantastic spot if you love Vietnamese coffee and asian flavors. They have a good amount of options for pastries. Tropical Vine is my favorite drink. The coffee is strong with a punch of pandan flavor. The pandan jelly was so refreshing, adds a nice chewy texture. I highly recommend adding the ube foam! My husband loves their Vietnamese coffee and orders it every single time we are in Seattle. The coffee is strong- no kidding, it makes my heart pound. You can order online and pickup in store. This is a great option since parking is incredibly limited in this area. Don't be like me and order the 12 oz. Definitely make the trip worth while and get a medium or large! This coffee shop reminds me of Vietnam but in a more modern touch. The Bac Siu (lighter version of the Vietnamese Iced Coffee) and the Ca Phe Sua Da (Vietnamese traditional iced coffee) were on point. Our group ordered over 8 drinks to share and we were not disappointed. The sesame latte and the tiramisu egg coffee had a nice level of sweetness. The pandan latte, however, was not flavorful as I wanted but it was not bad overall. Moreover, their breadsticks which consist of shredded pork floss and butter spread was simple yet delicious. The service was good. The coffee shop only have 3 workers but they definitely were moving fast. The interior decors was really cute especially with the egg chair and flowers. read more

Rating it a 4 just cause I'd need to come back and try more. First time in Seattle and tried out this cute coffee shop my boyfriend came across. I was recommended a Vietnamese coffee & was able to sample it before buying it. I then asked to be surprised with a soft top. They put a ube soft top and it did not disappoint! I LOVED it! I asked for no ice, but didn't expect the cup to be nearly EMPTY. I wish the barista would've informed in advance about the drink or put the drink into a smaller cup. Coffeeholic definitely stands out from other coffee shops with their Vietnamese coffee and flavors. I've come across another coffee shop selling ube coffee but it was pretty whatever. Coffeeholic also sells pandan drinks which I hadn't seen. It's also more or less a to go place - there's no seating indoors or in front. I got a 16oz tropical vine which is essentially a pandan iced coffee. I really liked the drink as it wasn't just a hint of pandan but a good strong pandan flavor. The drink isn't watery and is almost slightly thick. It also comes with some pandan jelly! Overall a great drink and I'll definitely keep coming back to try other drinks. Parking was a okay. If you're here just to get a drink there's a couple 30 min loading street spots otherwise you'll be competing for spaces with the restaurant next door. Cafe that specializes in Vietnamese coffee. I tried the Dark Knight, which is sesame, and would get it again. It was definitely on the sweeter side for me but not tooo sweet. The drinks are amazing! I've been following this place on Instagram for a while and have been meaning to go, and it's definitely worth it! I love Vietnamese coffee, and Coffeeholic goes above and beyond to bring flavors like pandan, ube, and black sesame into coffee. They have excellent cold and hot drinks, and I would go back. The interior is really aesthetic and has some great photo opps, but this location in particular does not have any seating, so keep that in mind. There are a few parks nearby, so with the weather starting to get nicer, it's a fun idea to grab a drink and go! I got the Tropical Vine, with coconut milk, coffee, pandan, and pandan jelly. It was light, refreshing, creamy, and I could definitely taste the pandan. My friends got the ube drink and another drink with Vietnamese coffee, hazelnut syrup, and cheese foam as well. They also have classic Vietnamese coffee. Definitely a great spot to stop by if you're ever in Columbia City! read more

This had to be our first stop before our drive to Vancouver and it definitely kept us going and WOKE. The hubby and I shared the Coffeeholic Dream w/ Ube Drizzle and the Bac Siu. It was perfect to share because the Coffeeholic Dream was strong and the Bac Siu was light, therefore, a good balance. Both were good and wound recommend! Best Vietnamese coffee hands down. This is the OG spot so everything made here is the original recipe they use. My most notable visit was to snag the egg cups. We got the Coffeeholic Dream and Purple Haze. Both are wonderful options and you can even opt for ube drizzle on the Coffeeholic Dream so that's a win-win. Definitely pricey though and a really small cup because my friends and I finish our drinks so fast, not only because it's small but also because it's tasty. I don't think it's worth marking down for that small nuance though. Coffeeholic Dream is the perfect drink to give you a boost when you need it while also being tasty through a sweet liquid infused with a salty cream foam. The other coffee drinks are much stronger and taste great as well, but their taste is second to the Coffeeholic Dream. Purple Haze is purple for a reason as it's all about ube. Also a great boba supplement if you like taro or ube milk tea. The ube foam is also distinct and enhances the flavor by adding a layer of bitter saltiness combined with the faint ube flavor. One of my more recent favorites is the Tropical Vine. As a boba fiend, the pandan jelly as a topping really hits the spot and adds a soft, chewy texture to my experience which I love. The drink itself is also really refreshing and delightful. Pandan already has a coconut flavor in addition to somewhat of a vanilla taste and the coconut milk enhances this so the drink also tastes healthy in a way. read more

Beautiful store and delicious Asian flavored drinks! I got the smaller size and it's SMALL. I didn't expect it to be so small! But the drink was so good. I got the Tropical Vine (Coconut milk infused with pandan flavor. It comes with soft pandan jelly and dripped coffee). I love coconut and I love pandan and this drink had both! The pandan jelly was a nice addition. Next time I'm going to order the larger size. There's also photo ops all over the store I love the aesthetics here! read more

A Vietnamese coffee shop is all I've ever wanted so when I found out about this spot, I headed there immediately! They have an endless list of coffees, blended drinks, and lattes! I have been by twice and tried a classic Vietnamese Iced Coffee and the Coffeeholic Dream with Ube Drizzle. Both drinks were so good! I could definitely just drop by every morning to get an iced coffee but I still want to try all their other drinks like the Purple Haze and Tropical Vine. They also have baked goods and pastries on sale too - doughnuts, croissants, and filled bread buns! I haven't tried the pastries but they look so good too! It should be noted that the place is only a to-go place with no seating around. It is super cute inside with plants and sometimes it's decorated for the festive holiday season! As for parking, you gotta get lucky and find some street parking which hasn't been an issue for me so far. Awe inspiring to see Coffeeholic thrive since opening up in the beginning of the pandemic! Their iced coffees are winners, with the vast array of drinks and sauces. I'm a big fan for anything with their ube syrup. The drinks are on the sweeter side, but you can order them less sweet. My husbands fav is the Vietnamese iced coffee with the ube drizzle. They've done a great job with their beautiful space, everything is thoughtful and aesthetically pleasing! Pre-order is the way to go, so you don't hafta wait in the lines. read more

Really cute coffee store I've been seeing everywhere on insta so I dragged my husband all the way there (we came from Puyallup) to try! Parking is a bit weird because the streets say they're closed but we were able to find some parking off the street. I got the purple Haze and my husband got the regular vietnamese coffee. They both tasted good, but I do wish my Uber would've tasted a bit more...ube-y? Stronger? Hands down BEST COFFEE in Seattle!!! With lots of unique ingredients and flavor combinations, Coffeeholic serves the best coffee I've had in Seattle. Granted, they use Vietnamese coffee, which in itself is already strong and flavorful. But I loved the ube combination in the Purple Haze. And they have lots of customizations available including alternative milks! And most of the drinks are available hot or cold so whatever you're in the mood for. Additionally the decor is pretty and cozy, a nice place to spend time once the pandemic clears. Overall, can't wait to try more drinks from here but this is a CANNOT SKIP coffee location! read more

I came here with a friend who wanted an instashot of their coffee on a Friday morning around 10:30 am. To my surprise there was no wait. They also currently do not have any seating due to covid as well, but were clearly busy with many online orders (they had a cart full) The ambiance is a quaint Seattle coffee shop fill and the smell of vietanamese coffee and ube wafts into your face as you entered. The employees were kind and helped answer our questions. They also offered helpful recs. The coffee itself is not your standard fair trade seattle shop as they serve very potent vienamese coffee with specialth asian flavors such as pandam and ube. However, the flavors were AMAZING. I ordered the purple haze latte which is a ube flavored latte with ube cream foam on top. The foam was sweet, but not too much so where it would leave the sugar sweaters on your teeth and the coffee was definitely a nice surprising kick in the middle of the ube flavor. I ordered a 12 ounce and was wishing there was more when it ended. In summary, great nontraditional coffeeshop that is not only instaworthy but very tasty. I love having a good Vietnamese coffee. I strive for it and my man owed me a coffee date while we were in Seattle two days ago while venturing the city. This little gem is a place everyone should visit. I ordered the Coffeeholic Dream; one, it's Vietnamese coffee, two, it has an Ube syrup option, and three, salted cheese foam? I have to check it out. Something you don't think would go together is Ube and salted cheese foam. It sounds weird, even more so when you add the strength and flavor of a Vietnamese coffee. Well, allow me to tell you that it's a funky sounding combo, but a delicious swirl to your tastebuds. The saltiness took me by surprise at first, but the boldness of the Vietnamese coffee and the sweetness of the Ube syrup really tied it all together. I was hooked. I had to go again yesterday to get another fill. I wanted to try another option, but the nutty, salty, sweet and bold taste of the Coffeeholic Dream was just too enticing to pass up a second time. It's a go-to place for me whenever I'm in the city now. read more

Why and how is this place sooo good?! I have ordered different drinks every time and they always deliver. Our go-to is the coffeeholic dream. I haven't been in a while so I wanted to try the summer drinks. This time, I got the Passionfruit mango green tea and the ube monster. I love them equally, but if I can, I would and could order the green tea every day. The ube monster was delicious, but I just know it's filled with sugary goodness so as much as I'd love to, I know I shouldn't drink it too often. As I said, this place always delivers. I love coffeeholic and forever will. I don't live in Seattle anymore, but when I've visited, I make sure to get coffeeholic every time. Their Asian inspired flavor twist on coffee is always so yummy. I haven't ever had a drink I didn't like from here, my favorite being the tropical vine. The employees are always super nice and timely with orders. I also like the pastries that they get from other local businesses and sell too! It should be noted that while it is super cute inside, this location does not have a sit down area, so consider this spot better for to go. read more

Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, in the corner of a rainy street, a hidden gem serving up smiles, delicious pastries and dangerously daring lattes. My mission is to try all the lattes and come back with a review. Black Sesame: I ask for oatmilk substitute and I was transported to a toasty realm of wondrous creamy goodness. This place is dangerous because it's soo good and so close to my house. Everything I've gotten there has been just the right balance of flavors. My latest drink was their new coconut mango smoothie and it was delicious! The decor is also really beautiful, I wish it was open for dine in. The only thing that would make this place even better is if they could add boba to some of their drinks, but I get that they're more coffee focused. One can dream. read more

I was excited to try this place because I love ube! This place is out of our way but I really wanted to try. We came here in the morning thinking there would be seating to get some work done but unfortunately they don't (assuming because of covid-19). Purple haze - the ube foam on top is soo good but also pretty sweet for a morning latte. Once the latte got through, I could taste the espresso and it was pretty strong. The espresso helps offset the sweetness of the ube foam. When ordering I asked for light ice but my entire cup was filled with ice so that was a little disappointing. Although a bit pricey, the purple haze is really good and worth trying! read more
