Food: had a 20 oz lavender honey oat-milk latte and it was delicious. For me and my taste buds I would have enjoyed more of the lavender notes to come through but overall one of the best lavender lattes I've had. I also ordered an egg and ham croissants. I have to let you know that this was worth its price. I was expecting fast food quality on this item but got something quite opposite. All ingredients were fresh. The croissant was buttery and flaky, the cheese, to my surprise was a slice of pepper-jack. The egg was over medium which was great however, maybe I did not see that in the menu and, would have loved to have known that prior to bitting into it. I'm not complaining about the food but, should have gotten more napkins for sure. Service: okay here is where I wish had more to say. Service just fell flat. For a gourmet place I wish it was just a bit more personable. This place seems to draw in the crowd through social media so every client counts. I had to wait to place my order while the person behind me and the young lady at the register finished their conversation. It wasn't like she was rude but it was my first time there and I had questions on the menu but felt a bit rushed. Ambience: I loved the decor . The option to sit outside inside or upstairs was great. read more

If you're looking for a cozy, homestyle cafe that has yummy and SWEET coffee, this is the place. I love how the cafe is a literal home with two stories and enough space to study and do work. One thing is that their lattes are very sweet, maybe a little too sweet for me. I did order the gingerbread hazelnut so maybe I do need to try their other drinks to form a valid opinion, so take that with a grain of salt! read more

This place is a nice little coffee house with a quaint Latin feel. They serve coffee (duh lol), pastries and even lunch items such as salads. The coffee is pretty good and the service is very inviting and professional. I came here on the first day they opened so there were some hiccups which is totally understandable. Overall, this place is very good and I hope they stay competitive enough in the area open for a long time read more

My sister & I came here once last week and I will not be returning.. The service took a bit, but it was busy. Both our drinks (all I got was drip) were barely warm. I ordered a very small muffin that was way over-priced & not very good :/ all the pastries are so tiny! The price should at least reflect that. I think the only thing this place has going for it is the atmosphere.. it's a cute concept and decor is on point. read more

What a cute little coffee house located in 12th street of downtown riverside. Two story house and lots of sitting areas inside and outside. Coffee menu has good options from food to drinks and desserts. Street parking ( pay at the meter ) They do have a wheelchair handicap entrance towards the side of the house. Friendly staff as well. Overall a great place to chill and feel like you're home. read more

I came here excited to try their specialty coffees, but this was one of the worst experiences I've had at a café. I ordered the hibiscus coffee latte, and it tasted terrible--nothing like it was supposed to. When I politely asked the staff to remake it or let me choose something else, they refused unless I paid again. No refund, no courtesy, no effort to make it right. On top of that, the staff were rude and dismissive. This is absolutely unacceptable. As a business owner myself, I know how important it is to value customers and provide basic respect. This place clearly doesn't care. Save yourself the frustration--don't waste your time or money here. There are plenty of other cafés that actually care about their customers. read more

When I first arrived I fell in love with the entrance and the outside. When I went inside I was absolutely in awe. The decorations and set up in this place is absolutely stunning. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the deck decorations. The customer service was outstanding. The person taking our order was very sweet and very patient since it was our first time the drinks were delicious and the treats were small, but good. This is my second time coming here and I got the same drink: Churro oat latte which was great. However, the customer service was TRASH. The baristas were just having their own personal conversations and did not greet me when I walked into the establishment. The girl who took my order seemed rather inpatient as I was ordering and when it came time to pay. I thanked the barista who made my drink and she either was so rude and didn't respond to me or was too busy with her private conversation that she didn't even hear me. Such a shame because their drinks are really good but they need to get it together with their customer service. read more

Didn't love it, didn't hate it. The place itself has a lot of charm. It would be a great meeting spot for catching up with friends. The Americano I got was way too hot...took over 30 minutes before I could drink it. The hornito was delicious but was literally three bites. So basically, I paid over a dollar per bite. I would describe it as being a croissant with some icing dribbled over it enjoyed it but they should've been full-sized at that price or at the very least the size of a mini croissant, it was kind of like a mini croissant cut in half with the addition of icing. Also, it took a really long time to get our order, so I would not go here if you are in a hurry. read more

Great vibes but a terrible wait- no exaggeration 30-40 minutes and there were people stacked behind us that waited even longer. I appreciate great craft, but you have to be able to execute it at a speed that matches your demand or it simply isn't worth it- especially at these prices. I came in on a week day around 2 with a friend. It wasn't busy at all. I loved the cozy home feel. The outside garden seating area looked really nice as well. Perfect on a warm day! I regret not trying any food or desserts but they all looked delicious. They had a big selection of pastries in their case as well as sandwiches and egg bites in their fridge. Our order was taken quickly and the baristas were friendly and helped us decide between all the fall drinks! I'd love to come back and try more of their drinks and a pastry or two! read more

I ordered the dulce de leche latte and a chorizo burrito. The coffee was really good, not too strong but also not too milky. The burrito was thoroughly warmed and cheesy as advertised. They gave me my order in a timely manner. The barista Mia was friendly taking my order. My only criticisms for this place are that it closes SUPER early. Im a grad student that needs coffee to function, I would have appreciated this place being open late. Also, the bathrooms don't have locks so it gives me a little anxiety. But overall, it's worth checking out. read more

Came in to study for my exam and it was packed! I definitely should have came in earlier lol. I got a mazapan latte it was good not overly sweet with a slight hint of mazapan. I also ordered the egg croissant sandwich with cheese and I believe ham maybe it was delicious. They do make them with jammy eggs so be careful with your outfits! I really enjoyed my first time here I can't wait to bring my husband in so he can try it. We definitely need to go in earlier though. Nice locally owned spot! read more

I took my Dad there for an early coffee and to enjoy the morning. We ordered some coffee and food. My Dad liked his chorizo burrito. I didn't care for the veggie egg white bite. It was very dry. Service was good considering they were busy. The place is very clean inside as well as outside. They also cater to people that use a walker or wheelchair which was awesome. They have a wheelchair elevator outside to take you up. This was definitely a plus since I had my dad with me. read more

First timer! 12/28 Seen this place on IG, and had to come check it out. Arrived on a Thursday morning around 10 am, there was a line outside the gate. Took about 35 min to get to the front, and order our drinks. I got the 20oz Churro Oat Latte iced (easy ice) and it tasted really good, kinda like an authentic flavor (if that makes sense) but it was worth the wait. I ordered the Chorizo breakfast burrito for my daughter & I, it was good portion size and tasted delicious. My wife ordered the Horchata Chai tea, and she said it was the best taste, not overly filled with syrup like most places do. I got to meet the owner (Brittany) she was very nice, welcoming & full of hospitality. I can tell her & her husband takes pride in this place, and love that we're enjoying their coffee. As for seating, we sat outside, loved the bit of shade we had and the sun felt great. Will definitely come back to try other coffees and other breakfast & or lunch items. read more

The remodeled home is very nice and I was really happy to see an investment in a local neighborhood community. I'd like to see more of that in Riverside. The service was good and the coffees were perfect. We ordered two pastries and split the chorizo breakfast burrito. It was tasty, but they are pre-made so when it was heated it came out cold in the middle. Not that big of a deal, but that is the only reason this review is a 4 star instead of a 5 star. I will definitely go back because we enjoyed the relaxing patio and music selection. We felt very comfortable sitting in the shade enjoyed the coffee and pastries, which were also very good. read more

Ambiance is cool, but the two drinks took over 25min to arrive. The pistachio latte was pretty good, but would not recommend the coconut matcha latte. They also ran out of condensed milk for the dulce de leche lattes only 3 hrs after opening. Probably won't be coming back. read more

On my first time visiting, I was unsure what to order. The barista was very friendly in helping tailor my order to my preferences. I love that there is plenty of inside & outside seating. Service was good, everyone's nice. The food was good just a little pricey for the portion I got for the egg and cheese bite thing. I also ordered the "el machito" and it was not good, the consistency before I tried it looked watered down and when I tried it, it was. It wasn't creamy and I had my friend try it and she agreed. I'd give the seasonal pumpkin matcha one a chance next time I go though. I come back for the nice study spots + outlets and clean restrooms though. Overall really nice place to study with okay drinks. (I didn't take pics of my food or drinks tho :( ) read more

Right when we walked in the door, we were hit with the smell of freshly baking bread. We ordered a variety of items from a chicken salad salad, a tuna salad salad, a tuna salad wrap with avocado, a toasted grilled cheese and a turkey avocado sandwich on a croissant. The stars of the show may have been the potato salad and the pasta salad. All and all everything tasted fresh and delicious. My 4-year-old picky eater requested we go back the next day and that's how I knew it was top notch. As if this place couldn't get any better, we had impeccable service from the husband and wife owners each day. They informed us they've been in business over 25 years and the long line developing behind us was a testament just to house special this place actually is. Definitely give this spot a try!

We were a little hesitant to ask because not every place is willing to make custom substitutions, especially since they already have a cold tuna sandwich on the menu. We wanted a hot tuna melt, and they happily accommodated our request without any hesitation. That level of customer service really stood out. The sandwich was absolutely worth it--I would recommend it 100%! It had the perfect kick from the sriracha aioli, a generous amount of tuna, and the pickled onions added so much flavor. Everything came together perfectly. We also ordered the Basil Pomodoro after one of the staff members recommended it, mentioning that it's one of their most popular items. They definitely didn't steer us wrong! It was incredible, and honestly, I'd order it over and over again. The creamy stracciatella cheese (a lighter, creamier version of burrata) paired perfectly with the sundried tomatoes and basil. If we hadn't already ordered the California Melt, we probably would have gotten a second Basil Pomodoro because it was that good. For drinks, we tried the Iced Strawberry Matcha, which came with strawberry purée at the bottom and strawberry cold foam on top. I'd easily give it a 9/10--it was refreshing and delicious. We also had a regular coffee, and that was excellent as well. The staff were amazing from start to finish. *** THIS COFFEE SHOP IS ON THE HARVEST CHURCH CAMPUS***…read more There, the words I seemed to have missed or overlooked every time I ever saw a reel or Instagram post or what have you about Mikey G's right up front imagine my surprise when we decided to try it on a Sunday morning while running errands and my GPS turned us into a very busy and full church parking lot.... lol Okay, that out of the way - service was very friendly and quick! The space itself is huge, lots of room to sit and hang out solo or as a group. They also had a table with paper pulled over it with crayons and things for kids to doodle on, love that! Drinks - I got a vanilla latte with their Reese's cold foam. Unfortunately they accidentally put vanilla cold foam on it and only gave me the Reese's cold foam on the side in a cup but man- it was goooood! I mixed it in but I really want to try it with just the Reese's now. I will definitely try their new location closer to home in the future.
