It's really hard to find a place that serves good coffee AND good food. This is that place. And the atmosphere is great as well. They have real milk, quality coffee and baristas who know what they are doing. I love the sausage/sweet potato/kale Breakfast burrito, though be warned that it is spicy. I had been waiting patiently to see what was going to open next door to my favourite neighbourhood pizza place, Wild Garlic. I was thrilled to learn that it would be a coffee shop. When I first went to Coffeebar, I was a bit concerned - as a resident of the neighbourhood and a coffee-lover - that the place would not be able to sustain itself. It's HUGE! There is a lot of wide open space, some lounging area, tables for 2 or 4, some hi-tops, and seating outside. I have been pleasantly surprised every time I have been since (at varying times on the weekend as well as mid-mornings during the week) that the place is rammed and bopping. When I've come there to work, I have often had to share a table with a stranger, but I like that. A kind soul even lent me his power source when I showed up unprepared (btw: there are plenty of plugs around the joint). It's no wonder it's busy - the coffee is outstanding. My usual order is a non-fat latte, but on my last visit I had an amazing coconut chai latte. I haven't had the food yet, but it looks amazing, and service is quick and friendly -- just what you want. Coffeebar is an excellent addition to the Old Southwest neighb, and I hope its success attracts even more businesses to the corner. read more

Food was okay. I got the lavender latte and it was decent, but I also got the fiesta bowl and it honestly wasn't that great. Kind of flavorless, and the hummus was actually a little gross. Also, for a bowl with a bunch of raw ingredients thrown together, it was pretty expensive. It was cute inside and it was a nice place to sit and get some work done, but I don't think I would come back again if I were in the area. I was passing through on a road trip, so I don't know how it compares to other coffeeshops/cafes in the area, but I would probably check out other places if I were around again. read more

My favorite coffee spot right now. It's a little pricey but everything I've tried has been great. Having a soy latte right now and it is delish. Last time here I tried a lavender latte and loved it. The baristas are pleasant and efficient. The decor is eclectic and has a European feel to it with shared tables and good music. They feature artists and right now they have Arian Yves Wheeler. This place is the best. I've since moved away from Reno and I miss it dearly. My favorite thing to get here is the lavender latte with almond milk, it is a real treat! Major complaints were the lack of professionalism and unreceptive attitude toward legitimate feedback. Very knowledgeable staff. My favorite part about going in is seeing the daily macaroon! Whether in the morning or the afternoon, it's a perfect compliment to coffee or tea. Visiting this coffee shop has been on my bucket list for quite some time now. I finally visited when a beloved friend surprised me by taking me out for coffee. This is such a cute coffee shop! The tables and big coffee mugs give the shop a nice vibe. The staff were very friendly. I tried the Lavender Latte. It was very delicious. I was a bit concerned about the parking since other reviews mentioned parking could be hard to find. Luckily, we did not have any issues finding parking. I have been to the CB several times and have always had a great experience. Their coffee is delicious and I enjoy having a nice think foam in my espresso drinks. The seating is plentiful and their decor is modern and very clean. Great place to meet friends, study or do business. If you're hungry they have very tasty options and if you have a sweet tooth they don't disappoint. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 is because a few times it's been very slow due to employees socializing. I'm all for a relaxed environment, I mean it is a coffee shop... It was my first time going to a coffee bar in Reno and I'm happy I went to this one. We went in on a Sunday and they were busy! Our drinks came out quick and delicious. I had a Chocolate Marrochino and my friend had Coconut Chai. They were both delicious and for only having two people making drinks, they sure were fast! It was easy to find a spot for two inside the shop but it sure was pack. I enjoyed the abstract art on the walls and the music was great! I tried to Shazam it but it was too loud with all those people in there :/ Parking was super easy to find and the area where its located it calm and not so much traffic as apose to the places in midtown.
