Finally after a couple moments they seemed to notice I was there to order. The person taking my order acted like I was ordering something from another planet. She/He was very condescending. This place has great coffee and friendly people, and they are awesome about getting your custom order right, in addition to being a very nice area to hang out in. They also have games if you want to stay and play, stickers, cards and collectibles. I came by for the Grand Opening! My friends brought up the idea to come by and check it out. Right when I walked in, there were a bunch of people dressed up in their incredible looking costumes. It was cool that a lot of people came by to support! Personally, the layout and the furnishing of this coffee shop is awesome. I LOVE the theme! I would most definitely recommend coming by and seeing what type of goodies this places has to offer from the well thought out drinks and grub to the collectibles and comic books! Coffee N' Comics is a locally owned coffee shop in Reno. Given Covid-19 we were unable to go inside today. The curbside help was awesome and the barista was very sweet. She gave us great recommendations which were yummy. Coffee N' Comics has a great menu with a tons of options for coffee, tea and sweet drinks. I cannot wait to go back and be able to visit inside! They have unique flare which is a nice change from an ordinary coffee shop. Also for every purchase they give $1.00 back to help support other local businesses- how cool is that?! Been meaning to try this place, to order my 'usual' cafe latte (hot/cold). The place was very cute with lots of places to sit and chat. It had a casual vibe and alot of comic theme decor. Today was the day! I have officially tried the famous Coffee N' Comics and let me tell you they didn't disappoint. Alex, the owner, was absolutely amazing and very helpful. A first timers he applies a 10% discount which was very nice and courtesy given COVID times. He helped my sister and I pick out our drinks and they were awesome! Good flavor and the whipped cream was colored! So fricking cool! The food was delicious, the setting inside was super fun, the designs were creative, and he also helps support local events and businesses. I went to Coffee N' Comics last Saturday. Their craft coffee selections are so robust there is a "wheel of indecision" for people like me who cannot seem to choose! The crowd was diverse, and I felt accepted and welcome. Unlike other coffee shops, the room did not feel cramped, the music was great, and the crowd noise was minimal. They were dog friendly as well. The location is clean, parking is plentiful, and they serve local adult beverages, supporting Reno businesses. Would recommend! read more

Ok, don't judge me.... I don't like Starbucks. There, I said it! I'm always searching for a fun coffee shop with great drinks and personality! And this place ticks all the boxes!! I was taken here by a business client, and have quickly become obsessed!! The staff is always attentive, fast and friendly! The drinks are amazing! They have all the different kinds of milk(almond, soy, coconut, oat, etc). They offer unique things as well as the staple coffee drinks. Oh ya, and they sell beer.... WAIT, WHAT!! Yep! You read that right! They sell beer! While I have never ordered a beer from there, their selection looks like a fun mix of microbrews and solid breweries! They have a ton of games to play, (it's called Coffee n Comics, you can expect to find some people playing DND, and WoW here always... but I promise, they won't bite!) They have outdoor seating(you know, when it's not 15 degrees out). They have a stage, and post about evening events that utilize the stage.(but I've never been to those events) If you want an amazing drink, surrounded by some kind nerds(to all us nerds... we finally have a home!) This place is awesome!! There's something for everybody in here, including people who aren't nerds (yet). The whole vibe and atmosphere is on point for cartoon/anime fans and pop culture enthusiasts. The chai and all the drinks are fire for sure, although I wish they'd improve the food quality if I'm being honest. Got a breakfast burrito and the "craft singles" plastic cheese square with the gas station sausage just wasn't it. Still a super cool spot to hangout and or study tho. lil update: The owner said they don't use "craft singles" cheese, or gas station meat. that's good, but sorta disappointing cuz that leaves me wondering why it tasted so bad. Definitely something to be said that there's tons of great reviews about the store and drinks but none of them mention the food. Just saying. Not trying to hate the place is cool! Reno has needed something like this for a while and they really nailed it. It's a pretty big space so there is a lot of room to sit and hang out and there is comic book and general nerd culture decor everywhere. They did a fantastic job decorating and the atmosphere is fun, welcoming, and feels like a great spot to hang out in. All of the staff was very kind and happy to be there which is always a plus. The menu is surprisingly big and has some unique things you can't find anywhere else like Green Tea Chai latte (which is delicious!) But they still have all the regulars you'd expect. bagels, donuts, and pastries in the display case by the counter if you wanted a snack, several iced teas, all the coffee you could ever want. Coffee N' Comics has been a foundation for my study routine as I work on my MBA. Our study group meets here every Saturday for two or six hours, depending on the work ahead. It also often starts as using coffee as a motivator to get through the job, then becomes a celebratory adult beverage to celebrate or becomes a therapy session for the group. While I don't read comics or partake in any other wonderful items they have in store, it is an excellent place for the community. The coffee is terrific, and the selection of over 21-year-old beverages is also great. There is an eclectic and accepting crowd. The music selection is perfect, the staff is over-the-top friendly, and it gives you a very Cheers vibe of feeling part of a community.
