Brown Sugar Latte

I was in the neighborhood for an appointment. I really needed my morning coffee. I stopped by Coffee Monster and order the Brown Sugar Latte and the protein overnight oats (chocolate chip). Both were pretty good! The late was perfect because is wasn't too sweet, just the right amount and doesn't taste artificial. The oats kept me surprisingly full. However, if you're not used to protein in your oats nor enjoy the consistency of overnight oats you may not like it, but I do so I enjoyed it!

Dessert - The image shows a glass bakery display case with three shelves of baked goods. The top shelf features slices of cake labeled Orange Cranberry, Choco, Banana Chip, and Marble. The middle shelf contains muffins labeled Banana Nut, Pumpkin, Blueberry, and Cappuccino Chip. The bottom shelf has muffins labeled Double Choco, Butter Crunch, French Vanilla, and Corn. The baked items are arranged on wooden trays, and the labels are printed with small decorative hearts and icons, indicating a bakery or cafe setting.

Very convenient cafe. Lots of free street parking available. They have a stamp card for drinks - get one free after 9 medium drinks. Chill vibes with good amount of seating. 12/14/22 - House Drip is dark roast from DeMarco. It's super dark and taste kinda like an espresso. Nutella croffle is good. It is crispy outside, soft inside, with enough Nutella on top for flavor but not overpowering it. Watch out for the speed cameras on 154 Street.

Banana muffin - A muffin featuring a crumbly streusel topping with visible chocolate chunks is shown in a white disposable container. The muffin appears freshly baked with a golden-brown exterior and a textured topping. The background includes other baked goods and beverages, indicating a casual food setting.

Coffee were good! Very limited items to eat especially for Keto. My husband had their chocolate muffin and said it was very good. Banana was more dense. Moca coffee was excellent and cappuccino was good. Over all place was clean coffee was great. They had great games to selections to play. Good hangout

Awesome cafe to grab a drink or a small bite. They even have shaved ice dessert items on their menu as well. The pricing on the items are fair for the portion size. I've been here multiple times to get work done and they have ample outlets available along the walls and fast Wi-Fi. Also a great spot to catch up with friends. Residential parking available and generally easy to find a spot. Wonderful addition in the neighborhood!

This coffees a monster brah!

That coffee's a monster brah! I'm glad they opened a coffee house in a residential neighborhood. I've been noticing there are these monsters popping up everywhere, I decided to stop and grab a cuppa a joe. My buddy and I walk into a nice and well organized location. If you're staying, grab a cup and chill. I ordered a simple dark roast, my buddy ordered the same with a muffin. Nice roast, this was a good cup of coffee. Satisfying to say the least! If you see a Monster in your travels, enjoy.

a coffee shop - Three wooden shelving units display an assortment of mugs, teapots, and decorative items in a cafe setting. The shelves are illuminated by small built-in lights, and the units are decorated with small potted plants and framed pictures. The background features a wooden wall with a mix of light and dark wood panels, and the floor is made of dark wood. The overall ambiance is cozy and inviting, suitable for a cafe environment.

Awesome neighborhood coffee shop with clear Korean inspired products. We tried the Red Bean Latte (non-espresso), Toffee Mocha Latte, and a plain Croffle. The Red Bean Latte had nice subtle red bean flavor and although sweet, it was an enjoyable treat. Definitely not what you would get when in need of a caffeine boost but it is a nice option for those that do not want coffee drinks. The Toffee Mocha was also smooth and well balanced. The Croffle is really just a croissant griddled in a waffle iron and topped with powdered sugar. Sounds simple, but the crispiness that the waffle iron creates with the buttery layers of the croissant is something magical. I'm probably going to do that with my leftover croissants from now on.

Tiramisu latte

While running some errands in the neighborhood on the weekend, I got a craving for some good coffee. I looked up cafes, saw coffee monster, and was immediately enticed. My partner ran in while I waited outside. He ordered the mango bubble tea and I ordered the tiramisu iced latte. Felt like it took awhile but I had plenty of time and didn't mind a slight wait. Both drinks were delicious! It's a little pricey but totally worth it for the tasty flavors. I saw some snacks on Yelp that looked intriguing, so next time I'm in the area I'll certainly be tempted to stop by for a second visit.

my son and I love this neighborhood coffee shop I wish they would bring back the out door seating so we can bring our dog :( Here's my pup waiting with us in the car to get our coffee :(

Iced rose latte - Two iced beverages in clear plastic cups with straws are positioned on a car's center console. The drinks are topped with pink flower petals, and the cups have lids with a hole for the straw. The background includes part of a person's leg and the car interior, with a red and black color scheme.

There are plenty of seats but during the weekends they fill up quickly. I would just recommend coming in earlier. Really enjoyed their strawberry matcha latte and banana latte. The matcha had a strong creamy flavor that complimented the strawberry flavor very well. Judging from the color, it was definitely a decent quality matcha. The hot banana latte was not too sweet and really impressed me with the taste. It wasn't artificial and was very comforting on a colder day. I also tried the oolong tea cheesecake. The texture was moist and the perfect density for a cheesecake. While the tea flavor was light, I would get it again. Excited to try out their other drinks, they also have a selection of desserts like the tiramisu that will sell out quickly.

So a little walk necessary from the subway but worth it for the espresso drinks ands space to work. Upon arrival I was able to be nut order with the cashier. I decided on the black sesame latte and the peanut butter & banana sandwich. I wish they had a little more savory choices. While I waited I sat at the communal table to work. During the weekday is a great space to work. The wait is minimal and I received my order quickly. The latte was excellent! The espresso was smooth and therefore paired well with black sesame. The sandwich was good but nothing special. Great cafe but more savory selection.

The inside is absolutely beautiful and while they have tables, they also have more traditional floor seating. We got a couple bites of food to eat, some of their tea, and some cocktails. Their food was very mediocre, at best. While the persimmon cake SEEMED to be made in house, it was very clear that everything off their food menu required minimal preparation (ie. for the dumplings, it was just har cow). I also thought their cocktails were okay, and out of the three we got, none stood out to me. I did enjoy their tea, however. But, it was also fairly expensive for what it was (~$50). Overall, I thought this spot was okay for the price and I'm not sure I would return.

We came with a fairly large group and ordered several teas and snacks to share amongst us. There were several options for the flavors of tea and each one had different benefits as well. I loved all of them, particularly the fruitier ones. As for snacks, we had this fried taro snack that had a crispy biscuit outer layer that was delicious. It was a bit of a sweet & savory mix, but not strong in either sweet or salty flavors. There was also this persimmon snack that was filled with nuts and other things. It was slightly sweet, very unique, and both paired well as a tea time snack. They're also open until 11:30pm! So if you want to skip the bar, I'd recommend checking out this tea spot for a nice hang out.

My critique is just that their matcha quality is very disappointing. I won't focus on this because this is a smaller business and I think the coffee is pretty good. Best of all, their specialty coffee and tea are surprisingly affordable--most drinks are only around $5 to $7, which is a steal compared to many boba and tea shops. The space is spacious, comfy, and beautifully decorated, with free Wi-Fi and clean bathrooms. Their playlist is very nostalgic, playing songs by Jay Chou, Khalil Fong, and Fiona Sit. Perfect for working, grabbing a coffee, and picking up flowers all in one stop. *Golden Osmanthus Jasmine $6.5 I love light, floral teas, and this one was perfect. It is a blend of jasmine tea and osmanthus topped with cream foam. Delicate, refreshing, and not too sweet. *Black Sesame Latte $6 The black sesame cream foam was so nutty that I literally scooped it up with a spoon. The flavor turned mild once mixed with the espresso and milk though. *Matcha White Chocolate $7 A Christmas special! I was so excited to see they serve "matcha donut latte" which is quite popular last year. The vibrant green matcha latte is topped with a ring of whipped cream and funfetti. A very warm and cozy drink. *Warm Tofu Pudding $6 This tofu pudding comes with either ginger or osmanthus syrup. I added lychee jelly, mixed fruit jelly, and red bean. Warm, cozy, and especially comforting on a cold day.
