I like how spacious and how much seating there was in this cafe. I appreciate the separation between those who want to focus and work on their laptops versus those who are there to eat, drink, and chat. Both areas are spacious. There's two single stall bathrooms available. Very spacious and seems handicap friendly. The mango matcha latte was surprisingly a great pairing. I like the bits of mango and the sweetness of it works well with the matcha.

Quick service, received our drinks quickly. Very glad that they had a decaf option (will return just because of this). They had tables but they had a sign for "dining only", we were a table of 6 and had no seats because of those signs.

Iced Micco Matcha Latte, 16 oz. Described as just matcha and espresso. No sweetener mentioned.

Sharing feedback for Micco management about a customer service issue I experienced while ordering a Micco Matcha Latte. I came to Micco to study and ordered the Micco Matcha Latte, which the menu describes as matcha with a shot of espresso. The barista initially misheard my order and made a Mango Matcha Latte instead. I pointed it out and asked if it could be remade. The second drink that came out was extremely sweet and didn't match the menu description at all. After taking one sip, I politely asked if it could be fixed or refunded since it seemed incorrect. The staff member told me that because I had already taken a sip, I would need to pay for another drink if I wanted it remade. When I questioned this, he pushed the blame onto me and said that I should have specified the sweetness level. He also defended it by saying "most of our drinks are sweet and our customers like that." That response was confusing because the Micco Matcha Latte description on the menu does not mention any added sweetener at all. If sweetness is standard for the drink, it should really be clarified on the menu so customers who are sensitive to sweetness know what to expect. I then asked for the manager, but was told the manager was not present and that I should simply leave my phone number and wait for a callback, which didn't give much confidence that the issue would actually be addressed. What made this even more confusing is that the store's posted refund policy clearly states that exchanges are allowed if the store is at fault. Despite that, I was initially told I would have to purchase another drink after taking one sip of something that appeared to be made incorrectly. After further discussion, the drink was eventually remade again, and the third version finally tasted correct and was no longer overly sweet, which confirmed the earlier ones were likely made wrong. I appreciate that the drink was eventually corrected, but the situation should never have escalated to the point where a customer is told to repurchase a drink after one sip of an incorrect order. A simple remake would have resolved the situation immediately. My suggestion to Micco management would be to ensure staff are better trained on both customer service and the store's own exchange policy when a drink is made incorrectly. It would also help to clarify sweetness levels on the menu, since the Micco Matcha Latte description does not indicate that it is meant to be sweet. For customers who are sensitive to sweetness, you may want to confirm sweetness levels when ordering, since staff indicated that many drinks here are made sweet by default. I'm sharing this feedback in hopes that management can review the interaction and improve staff training so future customers have a better experience.

Micco Cafe bills itself as a "Chic, cozy cafe serving brunch, Asian desserts, and a variety of teas and drinks!" on its Insta. This is accurate except for when parents bring their little rambunctious kids breaking the allure. Really my only knock with my experience here. My understanding is that ChiMaMa that is in the same strip of stores opened this spot so I had high expectations that were basically met. When ordering at the counter try to be precise because I asked for a Breakfast Roll with Bacon, Egg and Cheese. This caused a little confusion when the counterperson said their would be an extra charge for each of the items. When I showed her the Breakfast Roll - Bacon came with them and her co-worker confirmed I realized I should have ordered it as listed. The sandwich was a great version. I loved the visual of the melty American cheese coating the soft scramble eggs and thick cut bacon. A slightly elevated NYC classic BEC, but, as stated, just don't order it that way. The strawberry matcha latte isn't a drink I normally order, but I felt like something different. I usually find the strawberry flavor overwhelms the matcha, but not here. Even after mixing it well the matcha remains distinctive as you get refreshing chunks of sweetened strawberry as you slip. The soundtrack was chill, they have tables reserved for folks with no laptops, books, or whatever compels someone to spend an inordinate amount of time in a business after ordering one drink when they first come in. Happy to see they make accommodation for folks that enjoy their order and leave after a reasonable amount of time. Although they have parking, it is a bit of challenge in the tight, angled lot outside the stores. You will probably wait behind someone waiting for a spot. All the challenges stated within the review are worth "braving" because Micco is a full featured cafe worth checking out!

This place is so beautifully decorated and cozy on the inside. We sat at one of the booths and there were pillows on the seats, which made it more comfy. I got a douhua with tapioca over ice and my friend got a warm bowl of grass jelly. My douhua was served over a layer of ice, which threw me off because I was not expecting it to be cold. I may have just missed this detail on the menu, though, and it still tasted great, so I was happy. I also got some Dan bing egg rolls to go, since my family wanted to try some. I'm really happy to see another Taiwanese restaurant in this area of Bayside!

Only tried the Thai tea matcha so far but it's pretty good. The thai tea slightly overpowers the matcha. I'm excited to try their other drinks! There's plenty of seating inside but the crowd is pretty crazy on the weekends.

I'm so happy to find a café that serves Dan Bing and Taiwanese desserts! The chicken was a bit dry and bland, but the coffee was decent, and the seating area is cozy and comfortable. One downside though, they only serve coffee in to-go cups, even if you're dining in. On my second visit, I brought my own cup, but they wouldn't fill it and instead asked me to pour the coffee in myself from the disposable cup, which kind of defeats the purpose of trying to reduce waste. This is the first café I've been to that doesn't allow customers to use their own cups.

Matcha is the new iced coffee, so of course decided to try matcha from this new place on Bell. It's located off Northern & Bell Blvd, heading South/away from the "heart" of Bell in Bayside. Modern interior, clean, quick and attentive service. The menus noted this is their soft opening time. Went with the strawberry iced matcha latte with almond milk. They offer 5% discount if you pay cash. Came to just over $8. The drink itself was good. They use fresh strawberry and make the matcha right there in front of you. Nutty, deep, robust flavors and they give you a wide size straw so drinking in the larger pieces of strawberry is easier. Plan to go back and try their mango matcha latte and other options.

This is my ultimate favorite! Sooooooo goood

I am back!!!!!! It's been a while since I've been reviewing good eats! This place was introduced to me by a friend and boy, I don't even know how I've missed this place. This place is fantastic!! One of the better cafes you'll find out here but definitively one of the best Taiwanese cafe out here. They sell the best Taiwanese shaved ice you can find in NYC. Come try it for yourselves, it's awesomely delicious.

Micco Cafe is owned by the same folks from ChiMaMa, so I knew it wouldn't disappoint. This is probably one of the most exciting additions to the neighborhood in a while. Their tofu pudding is probably the closest to how modern dessert shops in Taiwan make theirs--brown sugar ice, layered with fresh douhua and savory peanuts--out of all the tofu pudding places I've had in NY. I also had the Thai Tea Matcha, which is the first time I've had this kind of mix. The Thai tea flavor was exactly to the boldness that I like. Not exactly cheap, but not unreasonably priced either, and I hope they keep the same quality up over time. It's too bad that I've moved far away from Bayside and recently only discovered ChiMaMa, and now their dessert counterpart. It is absolutely worth making the trip out here and killing two birds with one stone for a meal & dessert within steps of each other.

Quality: 10/10 everything is made to order and with real fruit Variety: 9/10 they have a decent menu with choices for breakfast, lunch, dessert and snacks, but some choices may not be available after a certain time like the breakfast platter Atmosphere/Cleanliness: 9/10 clean and modern interior aesthetics. The two bathrooms were also very spacious and clean but some of their tables should be wiped down more frequently Service: N/A because it is a order yourself and find your own seating kind of place Price: $8/per drink including tax Overall a really nice study spot because they have multiple outlets and bangin AC. Don't visit on weekends because it gets crowed and hard to find a seat.

We did have to drive back to pick up the order, but customer service was excellent. We tried the beef noodle soup ($22), salt and pepper chicken ($22), Taiwanese pork chops ($22), sauté string beans ($22), 3 cup chicken ($22). The beef noodle soup was fantastic. Broth was savory, and portion size for the noodles and beef was enough for 2 people. The beef was thick, tender, and delicious. I did wish the noodles clung onto the soup more, but I just took a sip of soup between bites and was still satisfied. I thought the sauté string beans, and 3 cup chicken were fine. I could taste the wok hay. I wish the salt and pepper chicken had more salt and pepper flavor. We weren't a fan of the pork chops though. Overall, we would definitely come again for the beef noodle soup. We were informed that there is an additional 3% added on if you pay with card.
