Came back to try the Fan Tuan. There was a lot of meat floss and pickled mustard. The glutinous rice held together well. The fried dough (youtiao) was a little too hard (almost like a stale hardness), so good thing it's small. I'm probably in the minority here, but I wish there was a better filling ratio. The filling was a majority pork floss, which overpowered the other flavors. I also wanted to try the Peanut Dohua. The peanuts were well simmered (soft but still holds its structure). I like the big chunk of silken tofu. The shaved ice had a nice hint of sweetness from the sweet syrup. I got the Thai Tea Matcha again, and it was just as good as last time. I will have to try their sandwiches next time, but I'll skip the Fan Tuan (but I'll get another Dohua!)

Love this new Taiwanese spot that sells coffee, matcha, desserts and specialty dessert! I can't wait to try the snow ice. The staff was very attentive and I got a matcha and a chocolate chip cookie which they warmed up for me. Matcha was great and cookie was small but pretty solid standard cookie. Got the job done! Can't wait to try their other drinks and flavors. Pretty big size too.

This is a nice cafe with lots of good food options and lots of seating. Very family friendly- we saw lots of families coming with kids of all ages and enjoying their meal together. They have a lot of modern Taiwanese food options and matcha based drinks, and the orders don't take too long to come out. I'll definitely be back to enjoy a little brunch or snack with my family!

Went in for breakfast. Nice, clean, comfy, cozy ambiance. Nice variety of menu items to choose from. Reasonable prices. I don't know about the dudes working there, but the female cashier was extremely friendly. I should have ordered what the person sitting next to us ordered, waffles - it looked amazing. In any case, my wife ordered a cinnamon bun. I ordered a taiwanese bacon sandwich consisting of a slice of bacon, lettuce, cucumber, and "meat floss". They had a slushie in only one flavor - grape - and I gave that a try. Total before tax, $22. My wife enjoyed her bun. My breakfast sandwich was Ok (I did not like the "floss"), but I would have much preferred a straight up BLT. People who read my reviews know that I'm a slushie addict, but I also did not enjoy my grape slushie. Again, kudos for the ambiance and friendly cashier. I will return to try other food offerings, and hope to one day update my review with a higher rating. But for now, I can't see myself giving Micco more than 3 1/2 stars.

I like how spacious and how much seating there was in this cafe. I appreciate the separation between those who want to focus and work on their laptops versus those who are there to eat, drink, and chat. Both areas are spacious. There's two single stall bathrooms available. Very spacious and seems handicap friendly. The mango matcha latte was surprisingly a great pairing. I like the bits of mango and the sweetness of it works well with the matcha.

Micco Cafe bills itself as a "Chic, cozy cafe serving brunch, Asian desserts, and a variety of teas and drinks!" on its Insta. This is accurate except for when parents bring their little rambunctious kids breaking the allure. Really my only knock with my experience here. My understanding is that ChiMaMa that is in the same strip of stores opened this spot so I had high expectations that were basically met. When ordering at the counter try to be precise because I asked for a Breakfast Roll with Bacon, Egg and Cheese. This caused a little confusion when the counterperson said their would be an extra charge for each of the items. When I showed her the Breakfast Roll - Bacon came with them and her co-worker confirmed I realized I should have ordered it as listed. The sandwich was a great version. I loved the visual of the melty American cheese coating the soft scramble eggs and thick cut bacon. A slightly elevated NYC classic BEC, but, as stated, just don't order it that way. The strawberry matcha latte isn't a drink I normally order, but I felt like something different. I usually find the strawberry flavor overwhelms the matcha, but not here. Even after mixing it well the matcha remains distinctive as you get refreshing chunks of sweetened strawberry as you slip. The soundtrack was chill, they have tables reserved for folks with no laptops, books, or whatever compels someone to spend an inordinate amount of time in a business after ordering one drink when they first come in. Happy to see they make accommodation for folks that enjoy their order and leave after a reasonable amount of time. Although they have parking, it is a bit of challenge in the tight, angled lot outside the stores. You will probably wait behind someone waiting for a spot. All the challenges stated within the review are worth "braving" because Micco is a full featured cafe worth checking out!

Quick service, received our drinks quickly. Very glad that they had a decaf option (will return just because of this). They had tables but they had a sign for "dining only", we were a table of 6 and had no seats because of those signs.

Only tried the Thai tea matcha so far but it's pretty good. The thai tea slightly overpowers the matcha. I'm excited to try their other drinks! There's plenty of seating inside but the crowd is pretty crazy on the weekends.

I'm so happy to find a café that serves Dan Bing and Taiwanese desserts! The chicken was a bit dry and bland, but the coffee was decent, and the seating area is cozy and comfortable. One downside though, they only serve coffee in to-go cups, even if you're dining in. On my second visit, I brought my own cup, but they wouldn't fill it and instead asked me to pour the coffee in myself from the disposable cup, which kind of defeats the purpose of trying to reduce waste. This is the first café I've been to that doesn't allow customers to use their own cups.

Matcha is the new iced coffee, so of course decided to try matcha from this new place on Bell. It's located off Northern & Bell Blvd, heading South/away from the "heart" of Bell in Bayside. Modern interior, clean, quick and attentive service. The menus noted this is their soft opening time. Went with the strawberry iced matcha latte with almond milk. They offer 5% discount if you pay cash. Came to just over $8. The drink itself was good. They use fresh strawberry and make the matcha right there in front of you. Nutty, deep, robust flavors and they give you a wide size straw so drinking in the larger pieces of strawberry is easier. Plan to go back and try their mango matcha latte and other options.

This is my ultimate favorite! Sooooooo goood

I am back!!!!!! It's been a while since I've been reviewing good eats! This place was introduced to me by a friend and boy, I don't even know how I've missed this place. This place is fantastic!! One of the better cafes you'll find out here but definitively one of the best Taiwanese cafe out here. They sell the best Taiwanese shaved ice you can find in NYC. Come try it for yourselves, it's awesomely delicious.

Our server kept checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed. The calamari and shrimp ceviche were both delicious - the calamari was well battered and the ceviche was fresh. It's clean, spacious, and was surprisingly busy for a Monday early night. We also found out they have great specials, including $1 wings. The spicy margarita was a hit amongst the group. The drinks were good, and my favorites were the Brussels sprouts and calamari. The rest of the group loved the wings, and the salad, and burger was also really good. The sauce was not too sweet at all and the burlee didn't have that burnt flavor. This is my new favorite pancake spot.
