I've gone to honey butter fried chicken for almost 10 yrs every time I fly to Chicago so when I saw they were opening a sandwich shop I knew I HAD to go there. I buy a flight from Atlanta get there and first day stop in for lunch super excited. The sandwiches are their page are fat and juicy, and all around delicious looking. I ordered the Cuban and the French dip; as well as fries and drinks. There really isn't much inside space so we take the food to leave. And as well get untested to a spot we can stop and eat I open the containers to basically two pressed bread sandwiches. Both the Cuban and French had maybe a 1/3 of the meat they promote on their social media!!!! I mean just literally scraps of meat to what they promote. I thought well maybe the flavor is an explosion. So we dive in just to be hit with bland dry meat bits!! It was so disappointing and as you see in the pictures what we got isn't even comparable to what they show online. The sandwiches were so bad we ended up stopping and grabbing a sandwich at Burger King immediately after. BURGER KING!!! I want to think i expected to much but when you look at the side by side I was robbed. I reached out on social media and they didn't respond. I DID NOT want to write a bad review and actually waited a while before posting because it hurt so bad to do so.

Rolled into Coffee Joint on Irving Park (a true neighborhood gem) and had a solid morning. I grabbed a medium Vietnamese iced coffee and their bacon & egg English muffin--total damage was about $11 before tip. The coffee was smooth and never burnt, and the sandwich was just the right size--big enough to fill you up but not overly heavy. The staff straight-up know your name after one visit and are always friendly--felt like a local hangout . I plopped down on the patio seating, soaked in the sunny vibe, and even got some work done thanks to the free wi‑fi and plenty of outlets. Only knock was that it can get pretty packed on weekend mornings--lines form quick and you might wait a bit for a table. I used to be a regular guest at coffee joint, my daily morning routine before work was to get an English muffin with macchiato. Oh how much I miss those days when i was able to consume my morning boost indoors in a nice environment sometimes i also surprised my coworkers with a big pack of brewed coffee to go! I had such high hopes for this place and was disappointed. First thing is the price, it is way too expensive! I ordered a large iced coffee and little pastry and my total came out to over $12?! The size portions are ridiculously small as well, for a large I expect to be given something other than a Starbucks size of medium. Coffee was mediocre at best, wasn't too strong or anything that stood out to me. Really disappointed, I hope they change the sizes or work out the prices in the future. read more

Im usually the basic black cold brew type of person, however i wanted to try out they're new iced tea drinks, and i have to say i'm very impressed of how flavorful and colorful they are. Unpasteurized milk can contain bacteria that cause serious illness, and there is no reliable way to tell if raw milk is safe for consumption or not by smell, taste, or appearance.
