Elevate Uptown is a great addition to the neighborhood. They have unique coffee options and a nice sized area to sit down and get work done with plenty of outlets. I believe it is within an apartment so you will have people coming in and out. When you come in the counter is directly to your right and the seating is to your left. I ordered their Horchata Coffee this time and it was okay. A little heavy on the cinnamon to the point it overpowered the coffee taste, but it wasn't terrible. I prefer their Milano Latte though and definitely recommend it. I also had a donut and it was soft and sweet. The staff were friendly and quick to serve the coffee which was great. Normally I don't have any issues with this place but this morning I'm rather disappointed. I ordered online so I could pick up while walking my dog-- they have a pick up window for this very reason. It's also one of the main reasons I order here because it's hard for me to justify $9-$10 a coffee with frequency. Well I get to the window and she sees me and I don't ring the bell for 5 minutes because I knew she saw me, thinking she would come over on her own... well she didn't, mind you, my coffee is ready and has been the whole time. Other people are coming in and grabbing theirs and walking out the whole time I'm not going in because I have my dog. It's been 8 minutes of me waiting & her still not coming to the window & I buzz the bell again and hold up my dogs leash- I mouth "i can't come in to get my coffee with her" "she says okay??? With her hands up". After 9 minutes she says what and I tell her my name for her to walk over and get the coffee sitting there the whole time, Do not have a walk up window for pet owners if you are going to be rude and not answer the window read more

An easy 5 stars. My latte was sooooo good- they have a variety of fun flavors - I opted for creme brûlée and am excited to come back and try others. They have a good amount of seating with outlets at all the seats which is a huge plus for working. The interior is super cute too! read more

The staff was friendly, my latte was amazing, and super cute place inside! There isn't a ton of seating, but when I went that wasn't a problem. I liked studying in there, but someone came in talking to the staff who was very loud which made it a little tough. I wouldn't let this stop me from coming back. I've been a regular at Elevate Coffee in Uptown, usually stopping in once a week on Sundays for a panini and latte. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was disappointing. When I got home, I found my panini was burnt on both sides. I brought it back, and the new guy seemed visibly annoyed. I told him, "Just so you know, I'm not trying to be difficult here--I order these all the time, and they've never been burned." He didn't respond, and I could tell he was upset. When he handed me the remade sandwich--which was still partially burnt--I thanked him, and as he turned to walk away, his tone noticeably shifted and he said, "You have a nice day," in a way that came off as passive-aggressive. Even the latte I ordered was off--I didn't drink more than a few sips. I've been coming here since Elevate opened and have never had an issue like this. It's disappointing to feel like a bother for simply asking for what's normally a great experience. My Coffee Shop Preferences: Shops with space to do work; good parking; good WiFi; open during afternoon hours; NOT a coffee snob, but generally judges a shop by its black coffee unless a specialty item is hyped; won't judge a place by its food, which is usually made from somewhere else Pictures on Yelp were a bit misleading on the type of place it was--the name and professionally shot pictures gave me something a bit more upscale but in reality it's a simple neighborhood shop. Street parking was pretty accessible in the morning on Wilson. The Barista was pleasant and quick to make my drink. After reading so many reviews about the Horchata Cold Brew, I decided to try it out. Unfortunately, as someone who loves traditional horchata, it really doesn't hold up. It's not a bad beverage but the drink simply tastes like slightly sweet cold brew sprinkled with cinnamon on top. I could have probably supplemented it with milk to create the creaminess associated with horchata, but I'm only judging it for how it was presented. The space itself is somewhat small but not busy and has many outlets and tables to do work. However, within a few minutes, my WiFi disconnected and I couldn't find the network afterwards. If you're in the neighborhood, I think it's a nice local establishment but not particularly worth making the trek. read more

I came here the weekend they first opened as I was excited that the space quickly got filled again with another coffee shop after the last one closed. The staff here was very friendly - much friendlier than the staff from the last coffee shop. Coffee was fantastic and the little food bites we got from here was great! Love that they have the little walk-up window to order from as well. The inside has been transformed and feels much more modern than before - yet they still kept some of the classic elements. Elevate is one of my favorite coffee shops in the area. They always have a great selection of standard/seasonal drinks and their breakfast sandwiches are yummo! Ordering online is easy, but they also have a cute, cozy indoor area that has a few tables if you want to enjoy your coffee inside. The barista is also great! read more

This was a highly recommended spot near our Airbnb and I was sadly disappointed. This drink tasted like cinnamon water and the glass was filled to the brim with ice, which may have been part of the issue. This was not coffee, it was water with cinnamon and a tablespoon of cold brew and horchata. Maybe I ordered the wrong item but I know a cold brew is not supposed to be this watery. read more

The Atmosphere was relaxing, drinks were great, and the baristas Matt and Lucy were very friendly!
