Coffee for Good is a nonprofit coffee shop that trains young adults with developmental disabilities and then helps them find jobs out in the community. They have many volunteers who are professionally trained chefs to help make in-house items and they partner with high quality roasters. Not only will you walk away with a great cup of coffee, but you'll have made a difference in someone's life. The building is beautiful, it is always clean, lots of dining space to work or meet at. A tastefully designed coffee house in central Greenwich with a nice selection of food and beverages. The organization trains developmentally challenged young adults who work alongside volunteer and paid staff preparing for jobs in the community. It's really a nice program and the atmosphere is great as are the brews. Highly recommended. read more

Love the mission of this beautiful coffee shop - improving the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by reducing the unemployment rate in that community. Probably one of the most picturesque settings I've been to in quite awhile. I enjoyed my hot cocoa with whipped cream. I don't know that I've ever had one that was so rich. My friend and I enjoyed sitting at a table amongst the other patrons. Very chill and calm vibe. Highly recommend if in the area. read more

Coffee for Good is a lovely spot for great coffee and yummy treats. The store is in a beautiful and quiet area, away from commercial traffic. I grabbed my haul to go but could easily see myself hanging out in the bright and airy interior, or soaking up the sun at one of the tables outside. The nonprofit's mission is uplifting (make sure to check out their website: www.coffeeforgood.org). Their staff members were cheerful and upbeat. I enjoyed my latte, made with care by one of the shop's helpful employees. The blueberry muffin was delicious--moist with just enough sweetness, and chock full of fresh blueberries. This is a perfect place for a meeting. The internet is fast and the service is gracious. This is a 501 C 3 nonprofit coffee shop with a mission to make the world a better place. It is a training platform for people with support from Alibis. The environment is clean and open and the staff is the friendliest in town. Today was a very hot day so I got a cucumber spritzer...served in a lovely glass and I had a beautiful view as I sipped during my meeting. Instead of tips they take donations. I have gone twice so far to Coffee For Good and it's always such a wonderful experience! It's a nonprofit coffee shop that opened in June with the mission to improve the lives of people with disabilities by reducing their community's unemployment rate. It's located on the campus of the Second Congressional Church, and it's such a gorgeous place with two different rooms to sit and enjoy your coffee. Love a good coffee shop with a cause! What a beautiful historic building and very nice inside, areas to do some work or read a book or hangout with friends. Looked like there was a sun room and some outdoor seating as well. There's an Italian marble fire place too, which they said should be working in the colder months. I was pleased.. service was very pleasant and quick! I got a latte and a big blueberry muffin, which was very great! I picked up some coffee beans for home and some dog biscuits. Tables and chairs were nice quality, but One tip I would say would be to add some cushion or vintage looking chairs maybe around the fire place to make it extra cozy, but not an necessity! read more

Sept 2021, came here with friends and I must say the place is charming inside and there are a few tables outside. The inside is immaculately clean and the staff are friendly. Their mission is to improve the lives of their staff who have developmental disabilities. We sat outside and I ordered a regular coffee that was freshly made and delicious, and my friends ordered the Cappuccino, we also ordered a few scones. All and all we definitely will come back here instead of going to Starbucks. read more

BEAUTIFUL historic mansion, excellent coffee and blessed concept. Young adults with cognitive disabilities are shadowed by staff while they learn skills for permanent employment. The atmosphere where you order coffee and food is sleek and modern. The rest of the seating areas celebrate the history of the mansion. They have outdoor seating on the front terrace as well as a shaded lawn. It is very peaceful. Dog friendly. read more

I like this new coffee/tea shop in downtown Greenwich. They're located in a gorgeous 19th century building on the grounds of The Second Congregational Church. Apparently the church is part of the founding group. There is loads of free parking on the property. I like the tea choices and really enjoyed the curried chicken salad. My friend got the curried chicken sandwich and could only eat half. She wanted potato chips and a Diet Coke but they did not have. I recommend they add those items read more
