I'm told that I can buy one cup of coffee and sit for 4 hours and read a book, I can sit for 4 hours and watch YouTube on my phone or iPad, or I can basically do all manner of reclusive things sitting by myself - but I am not allowed to sit and spend an hour or two writing on my laptop.
