Came here for an early weekday breakfast and it was so charming, quiet, relaxing, ate inside. Delicious brioche French toast, amazing and unique iced dirty chai latte, solid burrito. Played cards and chilled. Would totally come back for another great morning start. 5 stars!!!!

Breakfast, lunch or dinner... You can't go wrong. I love this establishment. I always have the baked oatmeal and iced latte and the grilled cheese sandwich is amazing!!!! And the staff is fast and friendly

So I drove up early from New Jersey to visit my kids and dropped in to The Kitchen Table to grab a cup of coffee. Unfortunately, they open at 8:00 and it was only 7:30. I walked back to my car and a nice gentlemen popped out and said "what would you like?" I says just a cup of coffee. He said "come on in." He poured me an excellent cup of coffee and said, "it's on the house." Something about genuine hospitality and a good cup of coffee that restores my faith. Thank you for your hospitality!

Food was very slow to come out for just a few simple sandwiches with nobody there. Service was quite openly rude as well.

Staff is sometimes nasty. A small kitchen so if with a group and order hot food, it takes a long time.

There were dozens of empty tables outside, and so we chose table that was somewhat in the sun and away from the shady corner. The hostess was weird about it tho...saying that we chose a big table and we're a small party (we were 5 humans and 2 dogs and sat at an 8-seater). Most of the tables were 4-seaters so not sure where she wanted us. Despite that off-putting interaction, Frank, the server was spectacular. He was attentive and patient. I ordered a fried chicken sandwich, and I'm not even kidding, it was probably the best chicken sandwich I ever had. The meat was super tender and the breading was crunchy. The fries were comparable to McDonald's, and I mean that as a compliment. My friend ordered the Caesar salad with grilled chicken which looked crazy good. I tasted the chicken and it was pretty well-seasoned. I'd certainly order that next time!

I wish I would have gotten something else but not disappointed in my choice. Everyone was full and happy when we left. They do traditional lattes; so no syrups. I had them put real maple syrup in the ones for our table and cinnamon. I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed the food, atmosphere (live music and burning fireplace) and the service. Made for a great new year's brunch.

It took a long time just to get menus and even longer for them to take our order. Throughout most of the meal, no one checked on us--only toward the very end did anyone come by. For an appetizer, we ordered the guacamole and chips, and the chips came out cold. We actually had to ask them to heat them up, which shouldn't be necessary at a restaurant like this. For our entrées, the experience didn't improve. The chicken was slimy, and the grilled lamb was bland and lacked any real flavor. We couldn't even finish our meals. The seating made things worse. We were placed in a corner right next to what appeared to be a service station. Staff were constantly coming in and out, which made it difficult to relax or enjoy any sense of privacy--especially on a special occasion. What was most concerning was the cleanliness. The wall directly behind our table was visibly dirty, with streaks that looked like spilled drinks that had never been cleaned. For a restaurant at this level, that's simply unacceptable. They did bring out small complimentary muffins/cupcakes for our anniversary, which was a nice gesture, but unfortunately they were dry and underwhelming. The biggest issue came at the end of the meal. We had a gift card (with receipt and order number), but they couldn't locate it in their system. The assistant general manager assured us it would be resolved in a few days and asked us to pay another way in the meantime. After multiple follow-ups over the course of more than two and a half weeks--calls and emails--we still have not received any resolution or refund. Communication has been inconsistent at best and nonexistent at worst. I've been here a few times before and each visit has gotten progressively worse. I really wanted to like this place, but after this experience, I won't be returning.

My early visits were bad enough that I left a review, later took it down to give them a chance, then reposted when things didn't improve. This time, one of the owners spotted me right away and, with a sarcastic jab, asked if I was "going to put up another review." Moments later, I watched their machine fail to build pressure - espresso poured instantly as thin, bitter liquid with an off smell. It wasn't just watery; it was undrinkable. When I pointed it out, she admitted it was "being serviced next week." As she walked to the register to refund my money, I overheard her tell her co-owner that I should never come in again. They did give me my money back, but only after knowingly serving something that shouldn't have left the bar. I don't expect world-class coffee - just honesty and competence. If the machine is broken, tell customers. Instead, Queen B chose to serve bad coffee with attitude.
