A very cute little place right in the heart of Ridgefield. The place carries both drinks and a breakfast/ brunch type menu. There is a small little bar right at the entrance and as you go last it is where you can order food and drinks. The menu is pretty decent with sandwich options and the service was surprisingly very quick. I ordered the avocado toast and added two fried eggs on top. I gave Queen B another shot today after past disappointments. When they first opened, I saw the barista struggling with their "custom" machine (really just a dressed-up La Spaziale) and got vague answers from the owner. My early visits were bad enough that I left a review, later took it down to give them a chance, then reposted when things didn't improve. This time, one of the owners spotted me right away and, with a sarcastic jab, asked if I was "going to put up another review." Moments later, I watched their machine fail to build pressure - espresso poured instantly as thin, bitter liquid with an off smell. It wasn't just watery; it was undrinkable. When I pointed it out, she admitted it was "being serviced next week." As she walked to the register to refund my money, I overheard her tell her co-owner that I should never come in again. They did give me my money back, but only after knowingly serving something that shouldn't have left the bar. I don't expect world-class coffee - just honesty and competence. If the machine is broken, tell customers. Instead, Queen B chose to serve bad coffee with attitude. read more

Great coffee spot with a lot of tasty selections and they brew their own coffee which is always a plus. The woman working the register was friendly and quite happy to indulge me with a great chat about coffee and roasting and her business. Had an espresso along with a drip coffee and both were enjoyable. Neither were too acidic and were pleasant easy drinkers. Love the vibe and the super-friendly owner and staff at Queen B's! Do not miss the homemade pop tarts and the cinnamon chip scones. Yum! I am very picky about coffee (I bring home beans when I travel internationally) so take this into consideration when I say that the drip coffee was good but not amazing. First things first, if you haven't been here yet and you're a resident of Ridgefield I envy you. Shocking start, I know. Let me tell you why though, because there is a lot going oh here. The service here is amazing. It's absolutely world class from the amazing barista, to anyone helping behind the counter. You're fretted with a genuine welcome and a smile and everyone is incredibly nice to chat with while waiting. Heather has assembled a great team to represent her business. The atmosphere almost makes it hard to leave. It's tastefully decorated but also finds areas to have some fun and unique. Upstairs is cool but downstairs is where it's at! Comfy chairs and great music make this an awesome space to catch up on work, meet with friends or escape the day for a bit. The coffee and food are delicious. Idk what wizardry goes into making that aioli, and the bread is the stuff of legend. Breakfast or lunch it doesn't matter, they do not miss. Getting into the coffee is a whole different beast but the cliff notes version is not only are you getting great coffee for a reasonable price, but cares been taken to make sure it's ethically sourced and roasted to the highest quality in n house. Top tier flavoring ensures a healthier drink no matter how you like it and they are more than happy to go on a flavor journey with you to find your perfect cup. Pro tip: the iced white chocolate latte with pistachio and lavender flavor might sound crazy, but try it. Now you maybe reading this and have started to become confused by my initial statement so I'll finally explain that. I am envious of others that haven't been here yet for two reasons: 1) There really is nothing like discovering your new favorite coffee shop for the first time, and they still get to look forward to that experience and 2) once you give this place a try you'll become hooked. Your wife will get hooked, your kids will get hooked, and you have no other choice to visit frequently to the point where you're considering asking the owner if you can put a cot downstairs to sleep on because you're always there (can we make that happen?) Where to start? The food is excellent, the bagels (from the Bronx!) are divine, and the pastries and snacks are sweet without being cloying! Although I am not a coffee drinker, my family swears by it and tells me it is the best around! The ambience of the place is inviting - don't be put off by the small seating area upstairs, just pop on downstairs and the inviting room is spacious and comfortable.
