Coffee 48 is definitely worth a try and I will be 100% going back. I tried the vanilla latte and it was great. Perfect amount of sweetness and and caffeine (don't be deceived by the picture, they put my latte in a black cup). My 2 friends got 2 matcha drinks and I both were great too. Their matcha was on the sweeter side, so as someone who loves sweet drinks they both hit the spot. They had an amazing selection of drinks, all of which look delish so I definitely want to come back and try more. My small latte was $6.64. The only downside is the seating. There is no inside seating and it's located in a strip mall area so not a lot of seating options in general. It was difficult to go in as a group given how small of a space it was, and since it was a little busy we did have to wait outside for a little bit. I tried this place a couple months ago after hearing about it, and I haven't stopped going back since. Amazing, high quality coffee. I believe because they are family owned. But it's always consistently good quality, and not burnt tasting, which is my big complaint with Starbucks. Their coffee is perfectly strong and sweet. The employees are always nice and inviting. I will say, it's a small shop, so it's a grab and go kind of thing, not a sit in coffee shop. No outdoor seating either as far as I'm aware. Such a cute little space! If you are looking for a coffee shop to sit and chill at, this is not the space for you. There is literally just enough space to order and go. There's a small table with 2 chairs but it's more to sit while you wait for your drink than to sit and visit. I got the Vietnamese coffee, my mom got salted caramel, and my son got a green milk tea. Everything was yummy. The Vietnamese coffee had a saltiness to the foam that was on it that was not expected but was still really good. Yum!! I am a big matcha snob so whenever I have good matcha I have to write a review. The classic matcha latte was perfect. They put this salted cold foam on top and together they are so delicious. I chose this cafe today because of the prices. Other similar places with drinks like this are typically $7 to 8 but here it was $5.90. And the presentation?? SO CUTE! The inside of the store was quite tight especially if there are 2-3 more people inside. The service was quick and the girl who took my order was friendly! I got the Lotus Oolong Tea less sweet. It had a really good, clean tea flavor with slight sweetness from the lotus seeds. I wasn't expecting the salted cheese foam on top. I probably wouldn't get it with the cheese foam next time, but it was still good. I was impressed by the strong tea flavor and I feel like not many places have drinks with lotus. My brother got the Rose Lychee Tea half sweet and again the tea flavor was very clean with a nice lychee flavor. The rose flavor was subtle but complimented the lychee well. It's a lighter, more fruity option compared to the Lotus Oolong tea, which had a stronger tea flavor. Both very well made drinks/flavor combinations in my opinion. Very good tea flavor. I would definitely come back and try something else, I think they're known for their Vietnamese coffee. It's kind of hard to find but you can get in by walking into the salon, turning right, and then turning left. The interior is small, there's just a small table with two chairs. It's more of a takeout drink spot. Price-wise a lot of the drinks were around $5.90. Update: Came back and tried the Mulberry Green Tea with Cheese Foam but it was wayy too sweet and kind of tasted artificial. I got the Rose Lychee Tea half sweet again but the color looked a lot darker and it was a lot sweeter than the last time I came here. Their coffee was the best Vietnamese coffee I've ever had. The foam on my coffeeeas so thick even after 5 min was still sitting on top and not blending into my coffee, loved it. Stopped by Coffee 48 after lunch and countless recommendations from a friend. The shop itself is very small with no real study space and customers often have to wait outside for their orders. However, it is a cute little cafe with a clean, sleek aesthetic and perfect for a quick stop. My boyfriend and I ordered the Vietnamese iced coffee and the blueberry matcha with matcha crystal boba. The Vietnamese iced coffee was PHENOMENAL. This is my new favorite Vietnamese iced coffee place, oh my god. My only strife is that I'm not sure if they offer milk alternatives, but I did not ask so I'm not sure. The blueberry matcha was good, but not my cup of tea. The blueberry overpowered the matcha and it was very sweet. If you like your drinks a little more sugary, this might be a good choice for you. But MIX IT!!! While pretty when separated, it is not meant to be enjoyed that way. Very cute shop offering many flavors that suit my personal palette, so I will be returning to try more off the menu. read more

The coffee shop is very small and not a place to work or study. Just a quick grab and go. Lots of natural lighting and the workers were quick and nice. Went to try this place out with a friend, and we ordered the blueberry matcha and pandan latte. We did not like them at all. The blueberry matcha was syrupy sweet with a ton of blueberry syrup and simple syrup. The matcha flavor was not there and after mixing in the blueberry syrup, the drink became very thick and difficult to drink. It was so sweet and the thickness coated the tongue and throat. I've never had a matcha this sweet before. The pandan latte had a very light hint of pandan and was also on the sweet side. Maybe we ordered the wrong items, I'm not sure? read more

I ordered a peach tea with crystal boba 50% sweet. They made my drink and it was still too sweet. The drink tasted like any other boba chain. Wasn't anything special. Service was ok. Wasn't greeted with a hi or hello instead was told "I will be right with you" upon entering the store. Ambiance was a modern sleek crisp feel but store front is small and crowded. Had one table and two chairs inside the store to sit and wait but most people were waiting/enjoying their drinks outside on the sidewalk. Besides the peach tea, I also ordered a watermelon lime drink with crystal boba. Both drinks cost a total of $14.38 after tax. $5.90 per drink and an additional $0.75 for crystal boba.
