I love Cody's! This is a wonderful mix of upscale and contemporary (not stuffy). Food has never disappointed, and neither has the service!

My husband made reservations for our anniversary. To begin, we loved the atmosphere and professionalism of the staff. We sat at the two blue chairs in the bar area by the window and enjoyed a few happy hour drinks. Espresso Martini is amazing. My husband had the Wellington and I, the Sea Scallops. Both were buttery and delicious. Then we enjoyed a cream brûlée to end our memorable evening.

We went here for a last minute Christmas lunch for work. Gave the restaurant no notice, even though we expected 8-10 people. Cody's went above and beyond to accommodate us. The food and drinks were excellent and they dedicated a server and provided us a room off to the side. Lunch menu is a bit more limited, but everything we tried was very good.

My husband and I come here specifically from north Austin for the beef Wellington.. which is amazing!! Everything we have ever gotten has been delicious, including cocktails. We also love Anyssa and request her as a server everytime!

    Scallops- best I've ever had!

Still delicious! Their happy hour specials are pretty good and their sangria is very delicious! I tried Beef Wellington for the first time (I am not a huge steak person), and let's just say I could eat it every day! The beef was cooked to perfection and the texture was almost like butter. The flavor was incredible! I am craving some more as I write this. The service was above and beyond and I will definitely be back! I would love to sit on the patio for happy hour sometime as they have a nice patio.

The scallops were very good and the sauce on them had a ton of flavor. My sister enjoyed her meal as well, she got the pork chops, the mash potatoes with it were delicious.

We stopped here for a few drinks and dessert after perusing through the farmers market, and they did not disappoint! The cheesecake might've been my favorite, even though I usually devour some crème brûlée. Based on other reviews, I'm sure the rest of the food is delicious. The service was quick and friendly, and it's definitely gives off a very laidback, classy vibe!

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here, and the entire experience was great-along with the food. We will definitely visit again!

It has a classy, tasteful speakeasy vibe without feeling overdone or pretentious. They also have a private room that would be great for a special group gathering or a more intimate celebration. The grand piano in the room adds a really elegant touch and makes the space feel even more elevated. We went on a Monday night, so it's hard to say what the normal energy is like on a busier evening, but the overall atmosphere was still very pleasant. Service was friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. The only thing I would have loved was a little more creativity or guidance with the cocktails. The space gives the impression that you're about to get a true mixologist-style experience, but the recommendations we received were pretty standard, like Old Fashioneds and martinis. We were hoping for something a little more unique or original, maybe a twist on a Sidecar or an elevated take on a classic Old Fashioned. That said, it's still a beautiful spot with great ambience, pleasant service, and a very nice overall feel. I would definitely go back, especially on a busier night to see the full vibe.

You go way to the back and down a steep flight of stairs. My son, his wife, and I left my wife and grandbaby in the saloon and headed down. When you get down there, you are suddenly in a beautiful Tiki bar with so many amazing things to gawk at. It sort of felt like waking up in OZ. We were the first people there, so we got to sit at the bar and watch our drinks being made. They have about 15 or so different specialty tiki drinks. Each one comes in a particular piece of glassware. I don't know how the bartender keeps them straight. He was constantly pouring different things into a shaker. Then he would shake it and pour it into the glass that was already filled with crushed ice. One of the drinks even had a smoking cinnamon stick. My drink was really good. It was the Three Dots and a Dash. It came in a barrel and was decorated with a skull toothpick that had three cherries and a piece of pineapple to represent the dots and dash. It was super strong! I was ready to risk it all and go for another drink, but it had gotten packed inside the bar. We could tell the bartender was stressing. They really need two for times like that. My wife spends the night at my son's house in New Braunfels every Thursday to give them a date night. Evidently, this is where they always go. I can certainly see why!

Our mixologist, Logan (absolutely wonderful human being) not only made us the most delicious pecan praline whiskey cocktail but he also gave use some incredible history on the space & of course the ghosts! The limestone walls are original. Much of the decor adorning the walls was found in the building. Some of the wall hangings include an original bond and doctor prescriptions for whiskey. The furnishings and accessories complement the rooms to enhance the feeling of old-west prohibition. The velvet pieces exemplify burlesque. Total "hitch your horse to a post, mosey on down for a secret drink and a good time" vibes. Logan spun a tale of ghosts appearing in selfies taken by previous guests. The story was sensational and I was all about it. A wonky thing happened with the POS system while we were there that required a reboot. I joked that the ghosts thought I was taking too many pictures. Dark, moody, sexy, and relaxing...everything you want in a speakeasy---& good drinks too, of course. Absolute works of liquid art!
