'God leads people to green grass and quiet waters to relax.' Psalm 23:2 And I find rest here at Kinnor in New Braunfels. The quiet coffees of shiny happy baristas. Always laughter can be heard, children at play, music soul defining. This is the secret spot of all local baristas, where THEY come for caffe! Save me a seat! See y'all there!

What a cool place to meet for coffee with friends. An old house renovated into a coffee shop with loads of cozy seating. The coffee was delicious and there were so many creative flavor combinations. We got a honey breve and a key lime pie latte. I do wish they had some sugar free options but honey safely does the trick!

Drinks were so yum! Staff was super nice, they were out of cold brew so suggested the cascade americano & we added lemonade to it - was so so good & they had us taste it to make sure we liked it before we left. We loved it + great atmosphere + friendly staff.

We had such an amazing experience at Kinnor! All the staff were super helpful and friendly and weren't hesitant to answer any questions that we had. We originally went there for coffee and ended up staying to get a cocktail too since it was the weekend and loved the welcoming and homey vibes of the place :) the coffee was AMAZING the syrups they used were so natural and comforting we loved it so much. The cocktails were also perfect! The flavors all balanced each other out and were still so refreshing. We will be back very soon!

Accidentally found this spot while looking for another coffee spot. And so glad I did. Impressed with their coffee/bar concept or what I would call coffee bar meets wine bar meets cocktail bar meets retro library. Everything about this place is uber cool: the retro espresso maker, tunes spinning on the record player + vinyl collection, the functional retro studio monitor speakers hanging ceiling, the comfy indoor seating and the books and posters. I had the Iced Cowboy and it was fantastic and perfect for a hot and humid Thursday afternoon. A great addition to NB and conveniently not too far off I-35 to pop in when driving in between SA and ATX

I leave it up to my husband to search for non-chain coffee shops whenever we're on vacation. Sometimes it's either a hit or a miss, but we can honestly say that this place is a definite hit, for that quality cup of coffee! Looks like this place must have been an old home that was remodeled into a adorable quaint coffee house. Bright interior with ample seating throughout. I'm an 80s kid, and the music that was playing that day (at the perfect mellow decibels, lol) took me back to a simple and care-free time in my life!! Love the collection of vinyl records and cassette tapes too!!! Absolutely nostalgic! The four of us enjoyed our coffees (Pour Over, Vanilla Lavender Latte, Americano, and Drip Coffee) in the cozy and quiet little living room in the back, which had a comfortable leather sofa and a coffee table. It was the perfect start to our day while visiting family in beautiful New Braunfels. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town! CHEERS till next time...

They have really done up this building- it is beautiful! There is plenty of natural light and seating areas, both inside and out. I got an iced Cowboy Like Me and it was delicious! I really enjoyed it and it wasn't as strong as I expected (aka no crazy jitters). The flavor of the coffee was perfect! I definitely will come back, since this location is more convenient to me than 5 Stones.

This place is so cozy...... Feels like home ,you can bring board games or puzzles and they have the best music here. You can tell the people that work here loved their job! Also, the coffee and pastries they have... I would say 10 out of 10! This is one my favourite coffee place in new Braunfels love it!

If we werent visiting from out of town, i would be here all the time. This place is one of a kind. I appreciate the warm & inviting old fashioned comfort so much. Vinyl records and cassettes softly played through vintage stereo speakers. House made syrups and ethically sourced roasts. Kind and welcoming baristas. Protect kinnor coffee at all costs. What a precious gem.

When you have a craving for coffee "Kinnor" came to mind. I been wanting to try this coffee shop for some time. As you notice when coming to this place you see outdoor seating and as you walk in you see the place broken off into different rooms so you can lounge around as you drink your beverage. The personnel can give suggestions and answer any questions that may arise. They are a great help when trying to decide what to order. I chose a cold Vanilla Lavender Latte, it was delicious. I also got a hot Vanilla Blueberry Latte, that was excellent, expertly made. They offer a large variety of coffees and also some alcoholic beverages with a few pastries offered. Overall this can be a great place to hang out with family and friends, they offer shows and music playing in the patio area.

Still trying to work out the food situation, but this public house is amazing everybody from staff to the Coffey that they serve and also some of the pastries that they have when they have them the ambience amazing basically allow allowing us to be in our own little area, but still being in a community, which I really love and Aaron and his crew again they take care of everybody that's in there with a smile and a warm gesture of gratitude

I just tried their coffee for the first time and WOW! The maple latte was great. They make their own syrups and you can definitely tell:) my new go to coffee place!

Such a cute coffee shop! Definitely good for a small group hang out or just studying. The music is so vibey and soft and the service is so nice! I got the butterscotch iced latte and it was yummy! Finished it in .5 seconds they also have cocktails if you wanna mix things up! Parking is not a lot but there's some and you can always park on the street, they have some outdoor chairs if you wanna sit outside. Inside they have the main area and then like 3 little areas that are more like private but open to the public, like 3 rooms with chairs and couches. Would definitely come back here !

It has a classy, tasteful speakeasy vibe without feeling overdone or pretentious. They also have a private room that would be great for a special group gathering or a more intimate celebration. The grand piano in the room adds a really elegant touch and makes the space feel even more elevated. We went on a Monday night, so it's hard to say what the normal energy is like on a busier evening, but the overall atmosphere was still very pleasant. Service was friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. The only thing I would have loved was a little more creativity or guidance with the cocktails. The space gives the impression that you're about to get a true mixologist-style experience, but the recommendations we received were pretty standard, like Old Fashioneds and martinis. We were hoping for something a little more unique or original, maybe a twist on a Sidecar or an elevated take on a classic Old Fashioned. That said, it's still a beautiful spot with great ambience, pleasant service, and a very nice overall feel. I would definitely go back, especially on a busier night to see the full vibe.

You go way to the back and down a steep flight of stairs. My son, his wife, and I left my wife and grandbaby in the saloon and headed down. We were the first people there, so we got to sit at the bar and watch our drinks being made. They have about 15 or so different specialty tiki drinks. Each one comes in a particular piece of glassware. I don't know how the bartender keeps them straight. He was constantly pouring different things into a shaker. Then he would shake it and pour it into the glass that was already filled with crushed ice. One of the drinks even had a smoking cinnamon stick. My drink was really good. It was the Three Dots and a Dash. It came in a barrel and was decorated with a skull toothpick that had three cherries and a piece of pineapple to represent the dots and dash. It was super strong! I was ready to risk it all and go for another drink, but it had gotten packed inside the bar. We could tell the bartender was stressing. They really need two for times like that. My wife spends the night at my son's house in New Braunfels every Thursday to give them a date night. Evidently, this is where they always go. I can certainly see why!

Our mixologist, Logan (absolutely wonderful human being) not only made us the most delicious pecan praline whiskey cocktail but he also gave use some incredible history on the space & of course the ghosts! The limestone walls are original. Much of the decor adorning the walls was found in the building. Some of the wall hangings include an original bond and doctor prescriptions for whiskey. The furnishings and accessories complement the rooms to enhance the feeling of old-west prohibition. The velvet pieces exemplify burlesque. Total "hitch your horse to a post, mosey on down for a secret drink and a good time" vibes. Logan spun a tale of ghosts appearing in selfies taken by previous guests. The story was sensational and I was all about it. A wonky thing happened with the POS system while we were there that required a reboot. I joked that the ghosts thought I was taking too many pictures. Dark, moody, sexy, and relaxing...everything you want in a speakeasy---& good drinks too, of course. Absolute works of liquid art!
