Fun theme, creative menu! I believe it is rum - only though, if you like other liquors.

Painkiller is in the skull mug, Two Dots & a Dash in the back.

Excellent Tiki drinks and atmosphere. We sat at the bar so that we could watch them make the drinks which is super fun with tiki. They had a 2-person drink that looked over-the-top in the best of ways. We didn't get that; we tried the Mai Tai, Painkiller, and Two Dots and a Dash. All were excellent! We'll be back for sure.

Very fun and unique presentation for the "Uncharted" drink! So tasty.

As a tiki fanatic, I'm always excited to scope out new to me tiki bars! Uncharted just opened, within the past week or two, and I'm always interested to experience a tiki bar in its birth era. I saw no kinks tonight (impressive for a baby on a Friday night!), service was excellent, and the zombie and Uncharted drinks I had were great. The staff were *busy* and remained calm and unstressed as they rocked the million drink orders. It was a very fun, joyful atmosphere tonight. It was amusing to see a lot of locals streaming in, looking around, never having been into a tiki bar before. I hope this starts the tiki bug for many! The decor inside is stellar, evidence of a true tiki connoisseur making the selections. What I love about tiki is, if it's done well, it totally transports you to somewhere else. You are engulfed in otherworldly decor and music, and the libations are structured to enhance the carefree polynesian experience. Uncharted succeeds on all these important tiki experience must-haves! New Braunfels is lucky to have such a unique bar serving this level of experience, service, and boozy cocktails!

Truly amazing and unique atmosphere. Bartenders are always friendly and the drinks are delicious but also really hit. Coolest bar in New Braunfels by a long shot. My personal favorite drink is The Pearl Diver.

When you walk down the stairs you enter a paradise where you can forget your troubles. The decor was on point, the music curated perfectly, drinks amazing and staff super friendly. Started off with Maitais, as one does to test out a new tiki spot and they did not disappoint. The star of the show for us was the signature Uncharted cocktail. We'll make the trip again from Austin, so lucky to have a new tiki spot to frequent.

UNCHARTED is the best bar ever! It's not just a bar, it's an experience. The entire den is a handcrafted work of art. There are so many intricate and fascinating details to discover. The drinks are also works of art, served in unique vessels with exotic ingredients and garnishes. I plan to try a different drink each time I drop in. Finding the bar can be a bit of a challenge. Enter the Phoenix Saloon (which is also a very nice bar), go to the back wall and take the staircase down. As soon as you reach the bottom, the experience begins. It's a very intimate sanctum. I highly recommend UNCHARTED.

Uncharted is a secret Hidden Gem that you should try to get to before others discover it's there. The decor is magical and truly transports you to a hidden Oasis. The drinks are custom crafted with the detail and artistry that you would not expect to find in a hidden basement of a classic saloon. Do not miss this gem!

Having a good day come by? having a bad day come by? Just sayin it's worth the visit and stay. Order a drink or two and have a good time.

The painkiller was my favorite, three dots and a dash was a close second, and the mai tai was strong, yet still good. Service was attentive and had good recommendations.

I'm going to attempt to make this review as constructive as possible. As a chef, I found the…read morequality of the food to be less than stellar. I'll dive deeper into that momentarily. I was genuinely excited to check this spot out and left severely underwhelmed. The good? Well, our server was attentive and nice. 10/10. The drinks were pretty on point for a tiki bar. The ambiance is primo, and it's genuinely a great place for a date to have drinks. The bad? The food was very lackluster. We ordered the following: Snow Crab Musubi: I honestly don't understand how you mess this up. The menu claims it comes with kewpie mayo (my favorite) and chives, but the quenelle of crab that was put on top of the rice was bone dry, falling apart, didn't appear to have any chives, and was served with a haggard lemon wedge. There was zero fat to coat the tongue, and it legitimately tasted like unseasoned crab with sushi rice that didn't even have a hint of acidity to it. As someone who takes pride in his work as a chef, at the $14 price point, this sort of rubbed me the wrong way. As a matter of fact, it felt borderline pretentious. This is coming from a guy whose mentor was the R&D chef of the best restaurant in the entire world. And no, I'm not being hyperbolic. I simply take pride in my work. This restaurant group actually has an R&D kitchen, and the best thing they can muster up is this half-baked dish? Do a light cold smoke on the crab, make a nice Knorr-based soy mayo for some umami, and top that f*cker with something to brighten it up. Preferably something that has synergy with... I don't know, Hawaiian BBQ. I felt like I was eating a lackluster Asian version of a Crab Louie Salad. It was absolutely bonkers. Slingin Shrimp: This honestly wasn't that bad, but the presentation and portion size could use a little love. The shrimp submarine makes it a bit awkward to eat. Butterfly the shrimp. It will sit nicely on top of the rice and give it more appeal. As mentioned before, the sushi rice had zero acidity to it and simply not well seasoned. Li'l Octo Karaage: It tasted great, but the guys in the kitchen need to know how to cook squid. It was far too chewy, which is unpleasant. This is a quality issue that could easily be remedied. I will also say the fryer oil appeared a little old because the fry itself had a fairly dark appearance. The drinks and ambiance were the only highlights. It has really cool decor and a cozy vibe to it. If you're looking to get a couple of nice drinks after dining out or you're pregaming? This is a solid spot. If you're looking to impress a date or a friend from out of town? That's going to be a nope from me, dawg. Admittedly, that crab musubi just irked me. So boring. No love. Just unfiltered nonsense that only the uninitiated would be impressed by. I actually applied to work at their R&D spot a few years back, and from the looks of it, they could use a guy like me. Again, I was very excited to finally dine at this spot. Their ramen establishments tend to be fairly on point. Their dashis are great. No idea what's going on at their tiki spot.

I'm glad they had room for us but, it's still safe to make reservations. We did not know they are a tapas style restaurant, but that didn't deter us. And we were pleasantly surprised at the size of their "tapas". What we ordered was enough for two people to share. Dumplings - 9/10 Gulf Shrimp & Noodles - 10/10 Blistered Green Beans - 10/10 Ramen - 9/10 Service was great. It's a casual atmosphere, but perfect for an intimate date night.

A bit messy to eat but I would get this again. Udon noodle with pork belly: noodles were kind of irregular in lengths. I really liked the sauce with it but it felt like it was missing something. Light dish. Tc double cheese burger: very strong flavors, somewhat sweet. Dense/heavy dish . Our waiter was quick and friendly. The restaurant lighting was dimmed and gave a more intimate /bar environment. I think the ac was broken here because it was very warm and they had fans going on around the room. I think this place would be good for someone who is prefers an American fusion cuisine that leans heavily on the western style dishes. The fusion elements were cute but I still left unsatisfied but still full. We did not park. We walked here right from the river walk. Not a bad place to go if you arrive in town after 9 pm.
