Drinks were good. Prices were good. Food was okay. It's a bar. We stopped by because the description showed kid friendly with outside play area. It hot to be outdoors so we came inside. However it's a bar vibe so not sure how kid friendly it is inside. The burger was great!! Tater tots fried crispy. We also ordered a few other entrees that were sub par. The hamburger steak mashed potatoes- potatoes were literally like a baked potato that was smashed up. No creaminess No butter. Just cut up potatoes. Also got the chicken plate with string beans. The string beans were very oily and hard to eat. No flavor. Not sure if I'd go back unless it were to just get the burger to go or just to go for the bar and drinks. read more

The wings at this place were absolutely amazing. Not sure how service is during the week, but we got here as soon as they opened on Sunday and sat outside. They are dog friendly on the patio. The patio was spacious and looked like it would be fun on a Saturday night with live music. We knew we would have to go inside and order and get refills. It didn't bother me. We knew we wouldn't have a waitress that early, so can't comment on the service. The wings were the bomb, and that made up for it. The inside of the place was awesome. Wood floors throughout and a large bar. Reminded me of an old honky tonk. I will definitely be back on a Saturday for the rib-eye special!! Thank you Hideaway for a great Sunday afternoon. Stopped here to grab a quick bite and a drink. We wanted a casual stop on a late Saturday afternoon. If you want a laid back place with an outdoor "backyard" feel, this is your place. We were very hungry after a day of yard work, they were not busy, as it was around 4:30. My husband ordered the special, ribeye steak with baked potato. I ordered a blue cheese burger with tots. Unfortunately, it took a very long time to get our food and my food was cold. The burger was mediocre at best. My husband's steak was ok and was cooked per order. I took my wife to the Hideaway last night (Sunday 1/5/25) for dinner. We are notoriously picky eaters. However, we were pleasantly surprised. They have the best burgers in the area IMHO. The service was amazing. Honestly, I was so surprised because I have been underwhelmed by nearly everyone else. I'm making plans for a return trip for meatloaf night! Went to The Hide-A-Way for the first time to get some boiled crawfish.....All I can say is WOW!! It was so very good, and not over spiced like most places make it here (Born and raised in New Orleans). Cajun food should have a savory and robust flavor with an enjoyable kick of spiciness.....not a tongue-scorchingly, sweat-inducingly kick of spiciness. lol *That way, kids can also enjoy it and their parents will eat more! Also, the service was great and the atmosphere was great too. Can't wait to go again. 5 stars all around. read more

We went for the first time, for our grandson's football team spaghetti dinner. Kinda weird to have it at a bar, but I'm glad they had it at this bar. It was a block off the main road, near the tracks. Parking is pretty limited. We walked in from the back, it has and out door area, wasn't being used at the time, kinda nasty the night we went. Plenty of space to hang out in the back, has a stage, and a bar. Plenty of tables. The inside is really roomy, has multi levels, so watch your steps. The bar is pretty decent, the bartender's are super nice. They kept my drinks a coming, had a few beers, and a mix drink. The bar itself was pretty light up, which to me was nice, cause you can see everything and everyone. They had a good solo act playing. All in all, I would like to go back. read more

The Hideaway is a great bar with awesome food!! It's more than just bar food and the breakfast/brunch on the weekend is really yummy! I have never been during live music, but it is definitely set up for it and advertised! Seems to have a dance hall vibe on the inside if they cleared out tables. read more

Great time at The Hideaway! Inside is a dive country bar & dance floor and outside is a small partially shaded patio bar with a few picnic benches & a cornhole game. Philly Cheesesteak, fries, & beer were very good. Bartender was friendly but the place was very understaffed for a Sunday. Due to the wait time for food, I give it a 3.5. But, despite this, the bartender did a great job so I think it's worth checking out. Sunday Funday Specials $2-$3 beers. Probably ok for families on a Sunday afternoon but my guess is it's probably more of an over 21 crowd once it gets dark. Music playing outside was mostly Country. read more

Very rude manager named Kevin! As soon as my family and I walked in there was a very rude manager that called us over with an aggressive attitude. He proceeded to pester us all night watching us like a hawk. My family and I were outside when the manager rudely walked up to us and said that we have been "having attitude all night and causing issues." When my family and I were SITTING OUTSIDE TALKING. Visited for the first time. Overall good burger and Philly cheesesteak. Good to Average customer service and a bit overrated outdoor scene. Most of the outdoor needs more shade. The inside is surprisingly more of a nightclub and bar. I was expecting a willies or little woodrow's scene but my mistake on the assumption. One table is within the Covered porch but the rest is out in the open. We went early on a Saturday to watch college football outdoors. The outside has two monitors but it was not showing football and after a few minutes someone set up an umbrella that covered half the Tv's. It gave the vibe of locals are welcome, others wait your turn. Good place to go have a beer but don't recommend it as totally kid friendly. Good bar food. I would give it a 3.5. read more

Every bartender we delt with was amazing, had recommendations, and knew the menu. The food was incredible! Burger and fries were next level, and their queso was awesome! The only reason this place doesn't get a 5 star, is the guy that I guess is a manager, staff said his name is Kevin. He was very rude, and I caught him watching me throughout our visit. I might be wrong, but management to me should be the most welcoming. He seemed almost predatory, the amount of times I caught him watching me. read more
