Onion rings
Lori D.

We were seated and had to wait a bit for our server to get to us. We ordered a 1/2 stick on onion rings and they were the best thing on the menu besides the amazing yeast rolls (served hot with cinnamon butter) Everyone raves about the salad but I personally need a little more dressing and less of the lettuce core. I got the steak chunks with onions (and a couple of mushroom slices) and garlic mashed potatoes. Our food came very quickly and was hot. My husband really liked the Mac and cheese as his side to his sirloin that was good but a little heavy on the seasoning for him. It wasn't full so we had no trouble talking and they give you peanuts to start of with at your table which is a nostalgic touch. And I liked the decor of a "garage" roadhouse.

With the Rose Spritz margarita during happy hour (2 for 1)

The service was terrific. Sit in Christie's section - she is terrific. Smart, funny and good company. Mo and Brandin who help her out are great too - always within reach and you just need to look up and they are right at the table. We were there on Thanksgiving and we will be back! The food rocked! Have the prime rib. Or the salmon. The Thanksgiving turkey dinner was great too. Ask for more rolls - they come out hot and fresh! We'll be back next week

Taverna Toscana is a fantastic restaurant. I made a last minute reservation to celebrate my…read moreanniversary (yeah, I know- should have done it sooner) and all that was available was outdoor seating, but the patio is covered and there are fans, so we went ahead and endured the heat and boy, was it worth it! The hostesses sat us right away, being careful not to overwhelm one server, so they discussed where to seat us amongst themselves and agreed on a plan. I almost expected them to clap and yell "Break!", but they were doing their jobs the right way. Our server was attentive, she knew the menu very well, and she was a true pro. We started off with the Parker rolls, which is super delicious and there is enough for way more than two people, so we had to be careful not to eat all of them, as difficult as that was. I'm also a French Onion soup fan, so I tried that- and it was great, and served in a very cool looking crock. My wife sat there saying she didn't want any, but proceeded to pick off half the cheese. (not cool, honey!). I ordered the seafood cioppino with the bucatini (a must have), and my wife had the chicken parm. First, the Cioppino was outstanding- full of great seafood, and the sauce was amazing. The bucatini is possibly the best pasta I have ever had. There is nothing like homemade pasta, and this was incredible. I was so full, but I kept eating it anyway. I paid for that later. Next time I will skip the apps and go straight to the dish. My wife loved the chicken parm and the portion was big enough so that she took well more than half of it home and I enjoyed it a couple of days later. All of the food was outstanding! Finally, I'd like to salute the server who was dealing with the table next to ours. The table was 4 extremely arrogant women who kept complaining about the temperature (you chose to sit outside, ladies) and the flies (wow...flies outside, who could have guessed?). The server handled them and their arrogance way better than she should have. They told her they were ready to order, then proceeded to take 10 full minutes to place their order because they really weren't ready. I have to admit, when my seafood dish was placed in front of me and it drew a lot more flies near us, I was a little happy because those ladies kept giving me the side-eye while complaining about "more flies than ever". Hilarious! We will be back often to Taverna Toscana, that's for sure. They know how to run a restaurant and their food is delicious. Thanks!

We started with the carpaccio and artichokes to share: the carpaccio was pretty good, nothing too special. The artichokes were amazing. One of the best artichoke appetizers I've ever had. They were soft and tender and the sauce paired deliciously well. Very unique. I highly recommend trying. Scallop appetizer: the scallops were cooked very well, I thought the caramelized onions were not cooked that memorably, they also weren't my favorite pairing with this dish. The sauce was ok, the scallops were the star, the other components were not the best but I enjoyed the appetizer Shrimp and scallops linguine: (blackened) The shrimp and scallops were very tasty and well cooked. The pasta was al dente and sauce was good, maybe could use a bit of salt but the dish overall was very good. Gnocchi and medallions: the gnocchi was surprisingly good, it's hard to get good gnocchi but these were really good. The sauce was delicious!! And the medallions were cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. I'm ordering this again when I come back. Sea bass: really good dish composition. The eggplant and zucchini ratatouille paired really good with the pesto and the mashed potatoes, and the star of the show was the fish, cooked really well and seasoned very nicely (got it blackened). Highly recommend. Brussels sprouts were also a really enjoyable side. I will happily come back :)

My wife let on it was my birthday, so there was a lot of gushing happy birthday wishes, which was OK. We started with Old Fashioneds, which were above average. We also enjoyed some nice reds with dinner. Our waitress also treated us to glasses of champagne as it was birthday. I'm not a huge champagne fan, bit this was very enjoyable. (I believe it was Banfi Champagne.) With nice tip, it was $370 for us. Our waitress was very nice, prompt and helpful. I enjoyed the filet with stuffed shrimp, which was all delicious. I'm also a fan of Ruth Chris's, and think Flemings is a close even with them. We'd certainly come back.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. Although I made our reservation through OpenTable and hadn't mentioned our anniversary, the staff quickly decorated our table with an anniversary sign and presented us with a card signed by many of the team members. They also surprised us with two complimentary glasses of champagne, a beautiful keepsake photo in a Fleming's anniversary frame, and a lovely box of chocolates to take home. Every thoughtful touch made us feel genuinely celebrated. Our server was kind, attentive, patient, and genuinely invested in making our evening special. He took photos with my camera, never rushed us, and made the entire dining experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. ### What We Ordered **Sage Advice Latte - 5/5** Rich, flavorful, and the perfect way to end dinner. **Would absolutely order again.** **On Cloud 9 - 5/5** Fun, refreshing, and delicious. **Would definitely order again.** **Crab Cakes - 3/5** The texture was softer than we prefer, and they tasted a little too fish-forward for our liking. **French Onion Soup (split for sharing) - 5/5** Excellent! They thoughtfully served it in two separate bowls, making it easy to share. **Definitely order again.** **Scallops with Mushroom Risotto - 3.5/5** The scallops were large and perfectly cooked. The mushroom risotto had wonderful flavor, but the rice was still a bit crunchy when I expected it to be creamy and tender. Because of the risotto, I probably wouldn't order this dish again. **Bone-In Ribeye - 4/5** Cooked perfectly to a warm pink medium with great flavor. While enjoyable, it wasn't as tender or as well marbled as we'd hoped, so we'd likely try a different steak next time. **Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Bacon - 5/5** Absolutely amazing! One of our favorite dishes of the evening. **A must-order.** **Cheesecake - 5/5** Rich, dense, creamy, and absolutely delicious. **We'd order this again without hesitation.** Overall The service and attention to detail truly elevated our anniversary celebration. While a couple of dishes weren't quite what we expected, the outstanding hospitality and thoughtful anniversary touches made this a wonderful experience. We also enjoyed the live music, which added to the ambiance without overpowering conversation. We noticed Fleming's offers a separate lunch menu and bar menu, so we'll definitely be back to explore those on another visit. **Overall, this was a 5-star experience for us.** Not every dish was a favorite, but the combination of exceptional service, thoughtful hospitality, delicious food, and the warm atmosphere made our anniversary one we'll remember.

The food is delicious, and the cocktails are unique and delightful. My wife and I came early on a Friday evening, around 5:30. My wife has celiac, allergies to chicken, eggs, dairy and more. Thankfully their menu is labeled for items that can be made gluten free, vegetarian, or even vegan. We were served drinks and our appetizer when my wife got called away to deal with a minor emergency. We thought she would be back in 20 mins, so I sat at the table and told them to leave our food under the heat lamp and she'll be back soon. Well, it took 45 minutes before she was back. As soon as she sat down Dean, the owner, came and told us he wasn't happy with the quality of our meals for having sat so long and he apologized for the wait but he insisted on cooking them fresh. We had the brussel sprouts appetizers, shortribs, and salmon. The accommodations they made for my wife's allergies didn't detract from the food at all. Everything was fantastic.
