All of the instructors he's had classes with over the years have been WONDERFUL! For the class with very young children, a parent participates in the class with their child. I LOVED doing this with my son. It was so fun, and I loved seeing him happy as he practiced new skills and refined his gross motor skills. He's currently enjoying "Ninja Training" class, which he thinks is a cool name. The kids do a warm up and then practice 2 different ninja obstacle courses led by 2 instructors, with play time and other activities throughout the class. Since the class is for kids around 1st grade, the parent's sit on the benches and get to watch. We had my son's 5th birthday party at MyGym, and it was so perfect! The instructors put together a party plan that included a lot of my son's favorite activities there, including playing "floor is lava" to the music of Super Mario video games, & riding on the zip line! You can tell this isn't just something she runs, it's something she pours her heart into. The next day, she hosted my group of friends and it was just as incredible. While we were there, an incident occurred between two kids where one child was hit in the face. We were told to speak to Alyssa who's the shift manger on duty. Instead of helping us, she directed us to a website/phone number and repeatedly said she trusted her staff and that she had been told nothing happened. This became even more confusing when the staff present clarified that this was not what they had told her. What disappointed me most was the lack of concern or professionalism. She never asked whether the child was okay or whether any assistance was needed. Instead, she told us she did not like the way we were speaking to her. She may not have liked our accent, or communication style, but that should not prevent a manager from helping a customer appropriately--especially when the concern involves a child's safety. Ironically, her staff handled the situation much more professionally. Before we left, they followed up with us and offered to file an incident report. The entire experience felt disorganized and poorly handled, and it left us seriously questioning what procedures are actually in place when a child is injured. I would appreciate someone from upper management contacting me directly to review what happened and explain the proper procedure for handling incidents involving children. When parents trust a facility with their kids, we need to know that safety concerns will be taken seriously and handled with professionalism, empathy, and appropriate follow-up. There also needs to be proper training for managers and staff on incident reporting, communication, and how to respond when a child is hurt. Until we know this situation has been addressed and appropriate training is in place, it will be very difficult for us to feel comfortable trusting this facility with our kids again.

I also liked that there's plenty of room for running/getting between baselines and the benches. Also loved that they used benches instead of bleachers. NO MORE PAINFUL clawing under bleachers/peoples' feets for smashed balls that rolled underneath. The wait gets pretty long here (prob 25-30min/game and you only get to play up to 8 when there is a crowd. Winners stay and can play up to 2 games (they split off in the second game). I like this system, as it balances out the skill set. Everyone faithfully honored this system, and would get out after their 2 games.
