I brought my child as a guest to a birthday party here! Can I just say, WOW! The two party hosts handle EVERYTHING! Set up? Check. Safety? Check. Games? Check. Food handling? Check. Fun???? CHECK! It was such a fun experience for the kiddos AND parents (as the parents were able to mingle while the children played)! They started with the guests coming in playing with all the equipment then went into several structured but such fun games then paused for food and cake! They served everything and made sure kids were content the whole time! Then continued for more games & ended with zipline! I want to thank My Gym and specifically Ms. Lyndsay and Ms. Emily for making our daughters 5th birthday the absolute BEST! With our daughter's birthday being in Summer and a lot of her friends not comfortable in a pool just yet, we wanted an experience where we weren't in the heat and the kids could have a ton of fun. We opted for My Gym because Ms. Lyndsay was a teacher that would hold My Gym classes at our daughters school and we LOVED her energy, how she kept the kids engaged, etc. Although we had never been to the actual Poway facility we booked our party and it ended up being the best decision ever. The party was 1.5 hours total and we had 15 minutes before our start and the end of the party to setup and cleanup. We kept things simple and did tablecloths, a banner, and a few small table decorations -- both Ms. Emily and Ms. Lyndsay helped decorate as well. Once it was party time each participating kiddo had to put on MyGym socks and Ms. Lyndsay and I (birthday girl mom) spoke about Emmas likes, requests, etc.... Our daughter requested her own music playlist as she chose a song for each kiddo attending and wanted a Spiderman/Pokemon party- that included the Floor is Lava and bubbles -- that's exactly what we did. Once majority of our guests came, Ms. Lyndsay brought all the kids to the mat and did circle time to set expectations and kick it off by wishing our daughter a happy birthday. The time spent was perfect. We had the first 10 minutes of independent play, followed by 30~ ish minutes with coordinated activities (I.e. Pokemon ball game, floor is lava and jumping over obstacles) kids then washed hands we took a break to eat and sing happy birthday with cupcakes, then hit the floor again with more activities. Although the party time was 1.5 hours everything went without a hitch we had a total of 18 kids ranging from 13 months - 8 yo and every single one of them had a great time AND something to do. We closed out the party with a zip line and it was such a high note to end on. I should also state that our kiddos are ACTIVE! Despite how active they are they had a PHENOMENAL time. Helpful Tips As a Customer: - My Gym works best communicating via text, when I called it was very hit or miss that they answered because they are constantly facilitating classes or hosting parties - If you want to check out the facility make sure you get the week schedule and text when you're going to drop by -- as class schedules vary day by day - Every participating kiddo needs to wear MyGym socks that will need to be purchased - Space is limited and 20 kids max is the limit, be mindful of siblings because numbers can increase rapidly - We bought pizza at Rosaria's which is a few businesses down and they were PERFECT! They cut our pizzas in squares for the kiddos and it was so tasty! Delicious, reasonable, and we supported a small business which is GREAT! My daughter has been with Poway My Gym since she was two years old, and now she's over eight. Over the years, she's had so much fun learning and playing with her friends and the amazing teachers here. She's learned how to climb the monkey bars, do cartwheels, and many other fun tricks. She absolutely loves her wonderful teachers--Ms. Emily, Ms. Lyndsay, Ms. Sammi, Ms. Lauryn, Ms. Rosie, Ms. Alex, and Mr. David. They truly care about the kids and teach with so much patience and kindness. With our membership, she was able to attend at least two classes a week, which was a great value. I've been taking my son to My Gym since he could walk and he loves it! There is a wide variety of classes, it's clean, and the staff are so friendly and energetic. They also have more guided play which really let the parents relax a bit. The place is smaller but the kids had a great time. We came back for the Parents Night Out and I was worried my kid wouldn't be ok on her own, but she seemed to have a great time too! When we got there a bit early to pick up we watched unseen and she was having fun doing an obstacle course with the girls. We LOVE My Gym!!! I actually found this in passing by and decided to walk in and check it out. The workers there were so helpful & hospitable.. I later returned and signed up for the week trial and my daughter LOVED it so much we signed up for the membership! Most indoor play gyms I've experienced are dirty & you can just tell they are not cleaned often. But here at My Gym, you walk in and you can tell everything is thoroughly cleaned & vacuumed. I think it's a place more suitable for bigger kids. I don't think they have too much to offer for infants that do not walk yet. I attended Tiny Tykes class and maybe was expecting too much. I thought that they would have some soft play toys / equipment suitable for infants but not really. Also the Thursday instructor didn't have too much of an enthusiasm. Friday's teacher was so much better. I also can't understand how can you not have a soft changing pad for kids?! My baby was so uncomfortable laying down on the plain wood table in the restroom. Don't tell me it's because of sanitation because there are plenty of waterproof mats that you can just wipe down with an alcohol. With all the gym mats that kids play on, toys they put in their mouth, a changing pad would be unsanitary?! I can't understand that. read more

5 stars for the birthday party! I was nervous that the lobby area wouldn't be big enough or have a comfortable set up for 20 adults, but it was completely fine. I had a party here with 16 kids and even more adults and it was a blast. Part of the adults stayed on the floor while most hung out and had drinks and chatted. It was short enough of a party (1.5 hours) that the space works completely fine. The staff helps keep the party going, organizes games, and even serves your food. The help with set up and clean up and help keep you on top of everything. It was absolutely amazing to just hang out while other people cut and served 16 kids slices of cake!! I've held parties at my house and this is 100% worth it - so much less stress and I could just chat and have fun! My kids went to a few of the weekly sibling classes and weren't really fond of them. I think the classes are a great fit for stay at home kids that may not see others regularly or are young (2 and under). I think they could be good for the right kids though at a higher age. read more

We had my daughter's 4th bday party here in September. We had never attended a class here, but a friend recommended it as a fun place for a party. I needed something minimal stress for me, but maximum fun for the kids. Victor and Brittany were the best!! The set-up time was a little tight for my liking, but from the moment we walked in, Victor was on the ground blowing up our giant standing balloons, and Brittany was setting up our cupcake stands. They were patient and attentive to all of the kids, loads of fun, and super helpful with anything we parents needed. The kids had an AMAZING time. We had a wide range of ages, from 1.5 - 8, and all of the kids were entertained and having a blast (and exhausted at the end - double win!!). There were even some fun parent participation games, and it was hilarious seeing our friends and family in the trenches playing dodgeball with the kids ha! I would 100% recommend this place for a birthday party and can't wait to join more classes to try it out some more. Looks like they have fun holiday events, and parents' nights out too! Had our girls bday party here just this past weekend and it was definitely one of the best kids bday experiences I personally have had. We have been to dozens and dozens of kids bday parties throughout the decades but the degree of fun and excitement had by all the kiddos was hands down the best! As a mother of an 11 month old , it's hard to find something to do for her at such a young age. Parks are to big and the kids are to big. Halloween is upon us and me and a fellow friend who has a 13 month old were trying to find some activities to do with our babies. Someone sent a flyer of this place on Facebook for a Halloween party. There were different schedules and different ages. One of them was an hour long for children 3 and under. I jumped at the opportunity to go. It was free admission for members and $5 for non members. I know at Gymboree they are charging $35 dollars for their Halloween party which seems very excessive. When they opened we were created by a friendly staff all dressed up for Halloween. I signed in and went o to the floor with my daughter. They asked if she take off her shoes and mine as well and gave me a pair of socks for free. As the rest of the kids pored in my daughter got more and more excited. She loves other babies and children and had a blast playing. We have a trial day scheduled for her to come back and see if she would like to become a member. If you have tiny ones and you're desperately trying to find a place for them to have fun, I recommend coming here. Coaches are very nice, my daughters favorite coach is probably Nikki. Gym equipment is safe and friendly for little kids and coaches are constantly making sure everyone is having a safe a wonderful time. They gave out Halloween treats , had costume contest, wagon rides, baby trampoline, ball pit, slides and so much more. Pros: Clean Great for kids Friendly staff Cons: I wouldn't say there is many cons other than they don't have a private parking lot but you can still find parking in the strip mall they are in. read more

This is truly my toddlers happy place. He can run and jump without the worry about him getting hurt or breaking things.
