One of my dance teammates I have known for years told me that this facility offers an ADULT gymnastic class! The class is led by Coach Anthony, who is a former gymnast. The class is scheduled on Saturdays from 2:00PM-4:00PM. The cost is $20 and attendees range from various tumbling/gymnastic levels. My first class started with a tumbling warm-ups and stretching. Follow up by handspring and handstand exercises. Ending with trampoline work and a moderate/intense exercises. I appreciate this class because it is a fantastic workout along with advancing my tumbling skills. I look forward to training with Coach Anthony next week! read more

Their make-up class rescheduling policy is really strict -- They won't allow you to reschedule the same class at a different time, even when there's availability. All they offer is open gym instead. If I just wanted to send my kids to an open gym, I might as well sign up for Get Air. read more

The one star is for billing. I accidentally signed my daughter up for classes at this gym, when she attends another, with a close name. My fault. Automatic billing, they refuse to refund, but offered my daughter credit to take classes. Thier excuse is: because it's automatic billing, refunds are impossible. wonderful, especially during a pandemic. Great policy. read more

My son has been on their TNT team for the past two years and I am thoroughly impressed by every aspect of this gym. The coaches and owner are extremely dedicated to the athletes' well-being. They have a positive coaching style and work hard to teach, motivate and encourage the athletes. I feel they genuinely care about each athlete and have made such a big difference in my son's confidence level. I love this place and wish I had found it sooner! My son Christian who is 9, attends the recreational tumbling and trampoline class. He absolutely loves it and looks forward to his class every week. The instructors are fun and friendly. My daughter is a cheerleader for their All-Star competition cheer team. Go SoCal Select!!! She has found her passion! She speaks very highly of her coach, Steve, and she is learning at lightning speed thanks to him! Most of all, the atmosphere is positive and encouraging! Besides their classes each week my children ask every weekend to go to open gym and practice the skills they are learning. This place is incredible. We have been bringing our children here for 6 years. My daughter was 9 when she first started to tumble here, now she's 15 and my son has been tumbling here since he was a couple of months shy of his 3rd birthday, he is now 6. My daughter made the move from all-star competitive cheer to SoCal Ttc's tumbling and trampoline team and we couldn't be more thrilled and happy to be here. Even my son has gained skills making him eligible to be on the T&T team by the end of the year. The coaches truly care about the kids and their entire staff is amazing. We've always felt at home here and now after 6 years, it is finally where home is for both our children. SoCal TTC - At a recent competition - Gymnastics Near Me - Poway, California

We used to love SoCal (even though they were a bit pricey). However, since they moved in January, it feels very different. The term sessions are now only 4 weeks long vs 8 and the billing happens automatically each month unless you give a 14 day notice. This doesn't sound bad, but they are very strict on this policy (even though this change only just went into effect) - it seems like there should be a month or two of forgiveness for those of us that are used to the old ways. Also, the viewing area for the parents is pretty small and the new layout makes it very difficult to watch your child in a class (this is mostly an issue if your child is in recreational gymnastics). The parking is awful. And, maybe it's just me, but the classes seem a bit too crowded (which is why the viewing area and parking are not optimal). The only thing redeeming about this place is the coaches. They are great and very welcoming towards the kids. I will continue to send the kids her for 1/2 day camps here and there during the holidays, but that is all. read more

We had absolutely the worst experience with this gym and I honestly would not recommend this gym to anyone. We had scheduled gym time for my 8 year old daughter and her friends to celebrate her birth day and she was very much looking forward to it. We had even paid extra money for an additional hour of gym time and we had sent out the invites to all my daughter's friends. One week before the party, the gym informed us that they cannot do the additional hour as they had scheduled another event at that time. That was the first red flag, but we reluctantly agreed to it and changed the invitation. A few days before the party, the gym calls us again telling us that we cannot have the party on the scheduled day and wanted us to move it out by a week and they refused to budge on that even though we had paid the advance. The gym and their representative had absolutely no idea on how much they've ruined the happy occasion of a 8 year old girl. We ended up canceling the event and it was very difficult to get our refund back. We could get it back only after calling them multiple times. read more

Really liked the place at the beginning. No advancement in skills for last 6 mos. Place brand new students with intermediate level and those students suffer as the class is dumbed down. A lot of money for nothing.just watched class, the instructor did not acknowledge my daughter or assist her once during class. Spent all the time with younger student who belongs in a different class. Ratio 1 instructor to 10 students. Way too many. Other instructor just bullied tumbling class off of the floor run. Ridiculous. Just watched instructor ask the Select Cheer Squad to move so his girls could finishh class and the girls refused and kept stretching on the post. It is obvious to the few of us that witnessed this interaction that the tumbling class is not important to this gym so the four of us will look elsewhere. read more

So Cal TTC is fantastic! My daughter who is 6 years old absolutely loves it here. I was concerned because she is so shy and timid she may not fit in, but the instructors are more than helpful in giving her the attention she needs. When she is struggling with a cartwheel or summersault, they pull her aside and show her how to do it properly so she won't get hurt. They treat each participant as an individual. I think this is so important. I can see us being here for years to come. read more

Great gym! Found it initially on Groupon as I was desperate to find them a reasonably priced summer camp. The price was awesome for full day camp. The staff are nice and the kids had a lot of fun and learned new skills. Never would have signed up for it apart from the deal, but now think it's a good option during the summer to have them be part of it. Good facility and program. Highly recommended! read more

Best gymnastics facility in San Diego. Love the new auto billing - don't have to remember to re-enroll now. Way cheaper than other places in town and higher quality at a more reasonable cost. Their highest ratio is 7:1. People on here complaining because they don't think the rules should apply to them. They'll be back because TTC is the best in town. It won't take them long to figure it out. And the rules apply to everyone - every where. read more

TTC is by far the best gym around! The coaches are outstanding. My daughter was doing her round off back handspring within 30 min of working with Coach Aaron.Coach Steve (the owner of the gym) is so much fun he has the kids laughing the entire time:) It is fun for adults too! I am having a wives meeting (military spouses) there so the adults can have fun and exercise at the same time! When I approached Steve with the idea he was all for it. He is amazing with kids, easy going and approachable. Not to mention he offers a 20% military discount! That is unheard of I have yet to see a military discount over 10%. We were in San Diego for a couple weeks and needed to find a place for to keep up on cheer tumbling. We found So Cal on yelp and decided to try out the Open Gym on Friday. I thought that the kids would just be tumbling and jumping by themselves, boy was I wrong. The coaches were helping all students with whatever they were working on. My daughter , Lauren, was working on round off back handspring back tuck (I think that's the proper term). Aaron was amazing. What an awesome and positive coach!! He helped her reach her goal with positive support. After we left So Cal, all I heard was "Mom, we have to go back!" This place is a gem--I wish we had this in the desert. I started going here when it was still GTC, I think I was 9 when I started and I went for about 8 years. I wish I never had to quit, the coaches are AMAZING! I always felt safe and if I was scared to do something I was never pressured, I can't remember ever having a bad time at practice or at meets, it was always fun and winning made it even better! My daughter wanted to have her birthday party here. She had a blast. The employees were friendly and did a great job with being sure the kids enjoyed themselves & were safe. They have a really great set up specializing in tumbling, trampoline and cheer. My daughter just started cheer and I was pleased that the coaches Incorporated cheer activities in her party. The cost was $240 for up to 12 kids, this included invitations, decorations/paper goods,room/table rental, cake (from Costco), drinks and 2 coaches for 1 and a half hours. Seems alittle steep price wise but well worth it. It would have cost me that much if I threw a party at home and I would have had to set up/ clean up too. So much nicer to have some one else do it. Only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars is due to how messy the bathroom and common areas were, but what do you expect when you have so many kids using this great facility. read more
