I was told the change had been approved, so we made the drive from quite a distance to attend. When we arrived, instead of acknowledging the confusion, the staff talked over me and argued that the coaches and front desk employees don't have the authority to make those decisions. That may be true internally, but as a customer, I relied on the information your staff provided. A simple apology for the misinformation and for the inconvenience of driving all that way would have gone a long way. Instead, the interaction felt defensive rather than customer-focused. Mistakes happen, but how a business responds to them is what leaves a lasting impression. Unfortunately, the lack of accountability and poor customer service led us to cancel our membership.

However, the coaching team (Junior Pee Wee level) was outstanding. They were very patient with him, worked with him to improve his skills and made him feel welcome to the team. After a lot of hard work on his and their part, he eventually made it to the starting D-Line and we are very proud of him. The other parents were great! It was a solid team effort all the way around. It was a rewarding and valuable experience and I recommend it for all parents with sons. He grew incredibly in the season's 4 months and we'll be back again next year! First of all, the coach and owner Mrs. Angela, is a phenomenal teacher and truly cares for her students. She knows all the kids' names, she always has a ton of positive energy that is perfect for kids, and she knows just what to say to motivate and talk to young kids to keep them engaged. She is amazing and my son talks about her throughout the week because he is always so excited to see her on Wednesdays. I like that the class is structured, yet flexible enough to accommodate individual differences in children's energy levels and ability to sit and attend. There is no judgement for children who have more energy, who might not be listening as well as others, or who might be having an off day. They do a really good job with meeting kids where they're at and then appropriately challenging them. One of the reasons I enrolled my son in this class was to learn coordination and body awareness, which he has definitely done, but I also love that they teach gymnastics skills in the Toddler class (like real gymnastics moves that you would think only the older kids can do). At first my son couldn't do any of them, but as he watched Mrs. Angela and practiced them, he quickly caught on and was doing moves that I had no idea he could do at 2 years old! A lot of the moves they practice are also the building blocks for higher level gymnastic moves (hand stands, cartwheels, bar and floor work) and it's amazing to watch him progress towards being able to do these moves. He is not only becoming more coordinated and learning what his body can do, he is learning some impressive gymnastics skills! They do a great job of teaching to kids who are at different levels since kids can practice doing as much of the move as they can and as they get better, they are getting closer to the full move. The best part about this class is it's fun. I get excited for our gymnastics day and so does my son. It makes me so happy to see him having a good time and being proud of himself for mastering challenging skills. They have a big trampoline, bars, rings, spring boards, balance beam, a toddler area, foam pieces to climb over or go under, ladders to climb, mats to somersault on, and fun songs the kids get to dance and sing to while working their body. The class has a lot of repetition to help kids learn and master moves, however each class is different than the last to keep kids from getting bored. SoCal is amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a positive gymnastics experience. We love Mrs. Angela but I have head that the other teachers are great too!

I really wanted to love this for my 15 month old but it just was not the place for an active…read moretoddler. THIS IS BY NO MEANS ON THE INSTRUCTORS I think they are all so sweet just not familiar with the mind of an active toddler who just learned how to walk and run. There was not much interaction with music, they spent half the time on technical moves and structure. Maybe this is on me but I thought it would be more fun loving and carefree. We also were doing this for socialization and there are not other kids. One thing that did irritate me was at the end of the class that we were the only ones signed up for she suggested we come to a class at a different location to see how class is with "more well behaved kids". Well the class she suggested has a 7 and 10 month old. My daughter would have done great at 7 and 10 months too because she wasn't running at that point. My suggestion is if you don't know toddlers maybe don't offer classes for them or get instructors who have worked with or have toddlers and understand their attention span. Also. It was very hot it in studio my daughter downed her water we asked if they had a place to fill up and she told us to go to the subway next door. So just bring a lot of water on the summer days

It's small, clean, and so cute, with pink and purple walls, framed tutus on display, and high-quality dance wear and accessories for sale. There are seats so parents can watch and be the "audience." It's so much fun to watch the classes, and my girls love the encouragement. The teachers are amazing! We've been in Ms. Ava's Primary Ballet class for the past year and a half, and we absolutely love her. She keeps every class fresh by including engaging games and fun stretches into every class. She is so kind, patient, and encouraging, and does a great job of teaching all the dance moves and building students' confidence. She also spends a lot of time practicing the Bravo Bash dances, and my girls always feel super prepared for their recitals. A few words on the recitals: The Bravo Bashes are so much fun. They're the perfect, low-stress way for kids to build their confidence dancing in front of an audience without a lot of added pressure. All the rehearsals are done during class time, and students can sit with their parents in the audience until it's their time to perform. The performance fee is super reasonable compared to other studios, and students get to keep their adorable, high- quality costumes. All in all, Tutu School is a win!!
