We have loved our experience at Cali. The coaches, owner, athletes and parents have all been so welcoming and supportive. The kids work hard and play hard. We do fun team bonding experiences, gym events and get to support other teams. We feel so blessed to have found California All Stars. We can't wait for next season. She had a great time over the two days and learned a full routine with tumbling, stunts, and dance all choreographed for the rest of the competition season. The girls all seemed to have a good time and I k ow they worked their butts off as well cuz they were exhausted. Love to see the dedication to their craft from the staff at California All Star.

I was told the change had been approved, so we made the drive from quite a distance to attend. When we arrived, instead of acknowledging the confusion, the staff talked over me and argued that the coaches and front desk employees don't have the authority to make those decisions. That may be true internally, but as a customer, I relied on the information your staff provided. A simple apology for the misinformation and for the inconvenience of driving all that way would have gone a long way. Instead, the interaction felt defensive rather than customer-focused. Mistakes happen, but how a business responds to them is what leaves a lasting impression. Unfortunately, the lack of accountability and poor customer service led us to cancel our membership.

However, the coaching team (Junior Pee Wee level) was outstanding. They were very patient with him, worked with him to improve his skills and made him feel welcome to the team. After a lot of hard work on his and their part, he eventually made it to the starting D-Line and we are very proud of him. The other parents were great! It was a solid team effort all the way around. It was a rewarding and valuable experience and I recommend it for all parents with sons. He grew incredibly in the season's 4 months and we'll be back again next year! She is attentive to all the kids in the class and makes sure each one is doing the exercises correctly and safely. At other gyms, it was obvious some of their staff just didn't want to be there. The location is great, because it's near stores and restaurants if I'm running errands. My daughter is thriving and always excited for class. I haven't written any negative reviews of other gyms since I figured parents would do their own due diligence. I would highly suggest looking into the gyms yourself, because our experience was much different at the gyms we toured.

We also were doing this for socialization and there are not other kids. One thing that did irritate me was at the end of the class that we were the only ones signed up for she suggested we come to a class at a different location to see how class is with "more well behaved kids". Well the class she suggested has a 7 and 10 month old. My daughter would have done great at 7 and 10 months too because she wasn't running at that point. My suggestion is if you don't know toddlers maybe don't offer classes for them or get instructors who have worked with or have toddlers and understand their attention span. Also. It was very hot it in studio my daughter downed her water we asked if they had a place to fill up and she told us to go to the subway next door. So just bring a lot of water on the summer days

It's small, clean, and so cute, with pink and purple walls, framed tutus on display, and high-quality dance wear and accessories for sale. There are seats so parents can watch and be the "audience." It's so much fun to watch the classes, and my girls love the encouragement. The teachers are amazing! We've been in Ms. Ava's Primary Ballet class for the past year and a half, and we absolutely love her. She keeps every class fresh by including engaging games and fun stretches into every class. She is so kind, patient, and encouraging, and does a great job of teaching all the dance moves and building students' confidence. She also spends a lot of time practicing the Bravo Bash dances, and my girls always feel super prepared for their recitals. A few words on the recitals: The Bravo Bashes are so much fun. They're the perfect, low-stress way for kids to build their confidence dancing in front of an audience without a lot of added pressure. All the rehearsals are done during class time, and students can sit with their parents in the audience until it's their time to perform. The performance fee is super reasonable compared to other studios, and students get to keep their adorable, high- quality costumes. All in all, Tutu School is a win!!

Short answer: Hire a doula, if you can afford it, it is so worth it!…read more Long review: I worked with birth doulas from BBD for both of my births (2024 and 2026). I was extremely nervous about giving birth, and my main goal the first time was just to not have trauma. Thanks to amazing support from our doulas, I discovered not only did I not have trauma, but I also find giving birth such a transformative and positive experience, something I never even considered a possibility for me. I worked with Tamara and Sage for my first birth, a late-term induction and vaginal delivery (both attended), and Tamara and Kim for my second, spontaneous labor and vaginal delivery (Kim attended). A goal in both my births was to wait until transition to get an epidural, and thanks to Sage helping me ride contractions and helping my spouse keep me comfortable I was able to wait as I had hoped. In my second birth, I used techniques I had learned from Sage as well as new ones from Kim to stay so comfortable laboring that I got to the hospital pretty late without realizing how far labor had progressed! I never considered an unmedicated birth a possibility for me, but due to doula support allowing me to stay comfortable I think I would give it a try if I have another baby. Doula support was key to keeping me out of my "fear brain", as in both births, things happened that I didn't understand and they were able to explain them, both on the phone and in person at the hospital. This allowed me to keep calm. We didn't do the birth class due to our schedules, so did 2 prenatal visits instead both times. These were helpful in getting to know the doulas, but also they gave a wealth of recommendations for birth and for postpartum - for instance, Tamara suggested identifying a lactation consultant before birth, which was an amazing suggestion given that I needed lactation support immediately with my first and I would have not lined this up without her suggestion. We really like the 2 doula model, also, which seems pretty unique. We highly recommend BBD!

They are set up to tag team so one of them is guaranteed to be there for the brith which was so helpful to know that someone would be there no matter what. I want them there for any future pregnancies and labor!

Once we entered Frontwave Arena, my Mom and I got free basketball jerseys as our fan appreciation giveaway. I can tell the Oceanside/Carlsbad communities surrounding Frontwave have really latched on to this team since they've moved from Ontario. The energy was lively and the team respected the fan base. Hence, why the team had a 50% end of season sale on merch! Such a nice surprise! I'd definitely return to see the SD Clippers again. Frontwave has great seats and I can see this team getting better and better each year. Theme nights need a little work and more inclusion, however the Clippers are chugging along in a positive direction.
